Gullinbursti
stares in amazement saying the light his sword gave off was the same as
when Freyr wielded it, calling it the famed light of victory that
brings forth peace and good harvests. He tries to get it to work again,
but no matter how many times he swings it doesn’t happen.
He
does seem to realize something and turns to look at you. He thinks out
loud that it’s because you’re here, but before he can say more about
this train of thought Agyou interrupts to say he was so scared. You show
him some sympathy and can treat him like a kid if you want. He gets mad
 if you do.
Either way, Agyou starts
claiming to have been deliberately kidnapped as a decoy and that he
could totally take the dust slime on his own if he felt like it. He
doesn’t keep it up for very long and admits he might not have been able
to do it, then jumps at you and hugs you as he cries, thanking you all
for saving him. You can then either pat him on the head, hug him back,
or play with his fur.
After some time
passes, Agyou gets sad about how lame he looked for crying and mouthing
off. Gullinbursti says he’s glad he’s okay, and Agyou is surprised at
how beat up Gullinbursti is. He asks if he did it for him, then snaps at
him for pushing himself too hard, saying he’d be sad if something
happened to Gullinbursti while trying to save him.
Gullinbursti
starts crying too which Agyou asks about in surprise, especially as
Gullinbursti is way stronger than him. Gullinbursti says he finally
understood a bit as to why Freyr was upset with him and left him behind.
Gullinbursti
then thanks Agyou for getting mad at him and calls him his friend.
Agyou gets to thinking about how even as Gullinbursti cries, he’s never
thought of him as uncool. But on the flip side he starts thinking of
himself as always bluffing and thinks of how non-composed he was just
now. He thanks Gullinbursti, thinking about how he’ll start off this
year with his friends from the point where they accepted him with his
weakness.
At this point Temujin makes it
over and says it’s too early to let your guard down. Another dust slime
drops down from above, and Agyou freaks out at the sight of it. Temujin
shoots it, and this one also turns back into a regular slime that starts
 happily prancing out the room.
Agyou
thanks Temujin for noticing it. Temujin repeats himself and says you
need to keep a wide eye out on the battlefield and that you should
remember that. The incident isn’t resolved yet either, and he points out
that the dust slimes are coming from further within. Agyou identifies
it as Tsathoggua’s room. Tsathoggua would rather not go in, but there’s
no other option.
Inside, the game can’t
decide whether to call what’s there another world or utter chaos. Agyou
isn’t the only one to have their hair stand on end while standing
outside the door. When you look inside you comment on how goddamned
messy it is, like something terrible could’ve been summoned from it all.
Gullinbursti
can’t believe Freyr’s sword cut down something that came from all this.
Tsathoggua says it’s strange as he’s sure he sent his minions to clean
the place. He wonders where the dust slimes came from and says the room
is kinda cleaned up. Agyou has a fit and says this place is dirtier than
everywhere else they’ve been to today.
Temujin
asks if the dust slimes that appear in here get thrown out by
Tsathoggua’s minions, then says he sees why they multiplied constantly.
Narration says the slime minions are trying to clean the room, but on
closer inspection they aren’t touching anything beyond distinct pieces
of trash.
Half eaten snacks and half empty
juice bottles still litter the place alongside tossed around clothing.
Dust slimes spring up from those things and chase away Tsathoggua’s
servants, and now you know what’s causing this incident. Also it seems
like the dust slimes are being made from slime fragments from the
minions taking in the room’s impurities.
Tsathoggua
shrugs and says everyone should help clean up. You express disbelief at
this or say you’re leaving. Tsathoggua begs you to stay and help just a
bit since he can’t get it all done himself. Agyou says he needs to have
at least enough responsibility to clean up his own room. Tsathoggua
claims to be repenting and says dust slimes will mess Tokyo up again if
things aren’t dealt with.
Agyou is about to
tell him off some more but holds off, torn between the fact that he was
saved and the fact that this is Tsathoggua’s fault. He then decides to
not buy Tsathoggua any honey candy. Then the party gets together to help
clean the place up, to be continued in the epilogue.
