We don’t even get a choice to
respond as Kuniyoshi gathers what we think from our expression. He says
that as a creator, he can’t do what he does unless he’s able to read the
flow of a story. Then he says his world was always inside his dreams,
his canvas. His ideal beastfolk with his ideal fur sensations would be
drawn on according to his visions, and he believes it’d be great to show
it all to lots of people.
Of course, he’d
have people asking him “what’s so great about this?” or “are you crazy?”
He wonders if he’s (I think he’s referring to himself at least?) tired
since he saw that weird dream. We evidently get mad at him to his
surprise and tell him he shouldn’t be cooping himself up in there from
the beginning. And we seem to tell him that his kingdom and paradise is
meaningless.
And as it turns out, no we
didn’t say any of that. Kuniyoshi read all that off our expressions.
Anyways Kuniyoshi wonders why he’s talking about this since it’s
probably not out of embarrassment. But then he says he understands since
you came into his dream. Your heart connected to his, so nothing can be
 hidden from each other.
Kuniyoshi says
that you have a lot of connections inside you, some of which are
furries. He then composes himself and says he understands one other
thing. That is, that you and he are the same, which he thinks is why he
can relate to you. By which he means that you are also imprisoned within
 your paradise.
When asked what he means by
that, he’s about to answer, but he notices it’s about time for you to
tune out. Before we do go he asks if he’ll see us again on the other
side, and he hopes we will.
Back to the
battle, Kuniyoshi is struggling a bit as Jambavan and Durga are able to
block all his attacks. Durga yells about destroying all the candy while
Jambavan cries for help with his work, and both actually fire rays of
their own. You either express shock over this, cheer Durga on, or tell
Jambavan not to force himself.
Licht says
he suspected that those two could resist Kuniyoshi’s light rays, then
recaps what happens to people who get hit by them normally and his
reasoning that only another dream could defend against it. Then he
prompts you to make your move, so you strike in the opening you see,
knocking away Kuniyoshi’s pen staff.
Upon
losing his staff Kuniyoshi reverts back to his normal size. Jambavan
ends up reverting out of his transformation right after, as does Durga.
Licht explains that they’ve run out of dream power and compares it to
physical energy, so it wasn’t limitless. But you’ve disarmed Kuniyoshi
and that’s a big plus.
Wakan Tanka notes
that Kuniyoshi has shrunk back down and thinks things will turn in your
favor now. Kuniyoshi compliments Jambavan and Durga for doing well, and
the camera shifts over to Benten and Cu Sith as their respective battles
 wrap up.
Cu Sith howls and blasts the
area, and Leib says it’s his job to stop him. He’s not even going to use
his artifact for it either as he sidesteps the sonic nuke. Cu Sith is
taken aback by this, so Leib says he knows who Cu Sith really is. He
tells him his name and says he’s an Ueno student and his buddy in the
Beast Tamers.
Cu Sith however insists that
he’s the fluffy minister, so Leib asks why he’s crying. He confuses
himself upon noticing his tears, and Leib says he’s pitiful the way he
cries all the time. He points out that Cu Sith is the crybaby who can’t
forget his old master, then prompts him to remember their school.
Cu
Sith stops as he loses all will to fight, then chokes out that it was
so fun when he was with his master. That it was like a dream. Leib says
it was a good dream. Cu Sith nods, then asks if he caused everyone
problems again and calls himself a loser. Leib doesn’t try hard to deny
this, then pulls up a flashback to a conversation he and Cu Sith had.
Some
time ago, Cu Sith tells Leib that he wants to be strong, strong enough
so that he won’t cry. He says it might have been all his crying that led
to his master dying. Leib seems surprised by this, and Cu wonders if
all the crying bothered them into leaving him.
Leib
understands what Cu Sith was getting at, and Cu Sith says he thinks
it’d be great if he could be a strong guard dog who doesn’t cry. Leib
says that might be a while, then segues out of the flashback saying it’s
fine and thinks it’s time he laze around. He also says he’ll stick with
Cu until he can stop crying.
Cu Sith of
course is driven to tears over this as he starts to remember himself,
and Leib quickly signals to Alp to awaken him. Cu Sith reverts back to
normal, and Leib says he’ll take care of him so Alp should focus on
everyone else. Alp acknowledges this.
Camera
then focuses on Fenrir and Benten. Everything Benten throws at him, he
avoids. She demands to know why he won’t attack and tells him to come at
her already. Fenrir loudly refuses, answering her confusion by saying
that as the proud silver wolf of twilight he follows no one’s orders.
Then he stands arms crossed ready to tank everything she’ll do.
Benten
questions if he’s really just going to stand there and take it. He
doesn’t answer, so she emphasizes it’ll hurt and that she doesn’t know
where she’ll attack from. He says he knows as he calls her Haughty Young
Lady and says how she can easily be swept up by a dream.
But
even so, Fenrir declares that Benten will always awaken from that dream
and walk forward on her own, and that she isn’t some tool that drifts
forever. Benten is surprised at first, then finds the speech extremely
cool. She compares it to herself for a second before yelling out and
smashing her head against a wall full force.
Fenrir
is shocked by this while Benten reels for a sec and admits that was
going overboard. Still, she remembers herself and proclaims she won’t
always be swept up by things whether they be dreams or not. Fenrir says
he believed in her then collapses, so she calls out to him in concern.
Back
to things with Kuniyoshi, Durga notes that the other battles have been
settled but things are still problematic over here. Jambavan sees
something and moves to save her, taking down an alchemist attempting to
blindside her.
Durga thanks him, and
Jambavan says he’ll defend her. The penguin alchemist asks to fluff and
offers letting himself be fluffed, and you either call out to them and
try to wake them up or say it’s all so tempting.
Going
A, Jambavan tries to take action using his artifact for offensive
buffs, but the penguin trying to invite him to go get fluffed together
makes him feel like the bad guy and unable to use his power that way. He
ends up running in circles being chased by mobs. Licht says this is
fine since Jambavan can just play decoy this way, and Gunzou takes the
opportunity to tackle at least one of the alchemists.
Durga
compliments him as does Wakan Tanka, who joins in with the charging and
works with Gunzou to capture the mobs. You can then compliment Gunzou’s
tackle or compare Wakan’s to lightning. Going B, Wakan says he’s both
happy and sad to hear you say that. He asks that when you guys return to
reality you guys talk together again, then refers to you as his
lightning bolt.
Licht turns to you and says
this is all he can do, so he’s counting on you to handle the rest. You
agree and tell him to stand back. Some time later Gunzou says all the
brainwashed mobs have been captured, and Alp runs in to tell you that Cu
Sith is okay. However something needs to be done about Kuniyoshi or
things will never end.
Kuniyoshi asks if
you’re all scared and says there’s a first time for everyone. He’s ready
to make everybody like fluffing like he does, and Alp offers to take
him on so you step back to let him go. Kuniyoshi seems a bit surprised
Alp is standing in his way, but he rolls with it pretty quickly.
Even
though he doesn’t have his staff anymore, Kuniyoshi is still able to
use his brainwashing light. He does this by making a heart shape with
his hands, and the light this time is a lot more glaring than before.
Alp says he wants everyone to see him and watch him win, and you cheer
him on.
Alp says he won’t lose to his own
weakness and that the dream world is his world, then boasts about how no
one can beat him here. He does another quick little rap and activates
his NP to try to end the dream, shooting out something that looks like a
black hole from his hands at Kuniyoshi.
Kuniyoshi
is shocked by this, and Alp says this is a special move he can only use
in a world switched out between dreams and reality, Dream Eating. He is
however surprised that Kuniyoshi’s laser is holding up against it and
says his feelings must be that strong. Alp then corrects himself and
says Kuniyoshi is boosting it with the power to create dreams.
The
beam war is mostly even. Kuniyoshi starts asking Alp what’s wrong with
his kingdom since everyone there would love him. He calls it a paradise
where no one would ever hate him. Alp agrees that that’s what would
happen if he stayed, except he’s finally realized something.
That
is, he’s learned how brilliantly Kuniyoshi shines in the real world. He
compares him as shining like a dream the way he’s willing to share his
likes without worrying about rejection. Then he asks if he’s bored now
that he has all his dreams granted.
Kuniyoshi
doesn’t have an answer, so Alp keeps talking. Life hasn’t worked out
for him in reality, but it’s because of that fact that he has his own
dream. That dream in itself is part of his identity, and it’s made up of
both sides. Alp then apologizes for intruding on Kuniyoshi’s private
dream, but says it’s what let him finally understand what he really
wants to do.
Kuniyoshi points out that
things might not go so well back in reality. He might get hurt, he might
cry, or he might come to a standstill. Alp answers that he can take
comfort in his dreams then and try again after, just like how Kuniyoshi
takes comfort in this dream.
Kuniyoshi asks
if Alp is afraid. Alp says he is, but he’s going to make his dream even
bigger. He declares that he’ll make Kuniyoshi like everything about him
and not just his dancing. Alp’s Dream Eating starts pushing forward as
Leib says Alp has won.
Cu Sith starts
regaining consciousness at this point and Leib turns to check on him. Cu
Sith then sees the battle happening before you guys, then has a
flashback as he sees Kuniyoshi. Back before everything happened,
Kuniyoshi noticed him wandering around in circles and asks if he’s lost.
Cu
Sith says he forgot how to get back to his classroom. He was planning
on following his nose back, but there’s some strong perfume in the air
preventing him from doing so. Kuniyoshi invites him to stay in their
room then and offers a tent, and Cu Sith takes him up on the offer.
As
Benten and Licht are already asleep, Kuniyoshi tells Cu to keep quiet,
then offers him his own tent. Cu Sith tries to turn it down out of
concern for where Kuniyoshi will sleep then. Kuniyoshi in turn says he
won’t be able to sleep alone in the tent knowing he’s left a guest out,
but Cu says the same would go for him.
Cu
Sith then suggests they both sleep outside the tent then so they can
both sleep and not be lonely. Kuniyoshi is fine with this but asks about
the loneliness. Cu Sith admits to always thinking about his old master
and feeling sad when he sleeps by himself.
Kuniyoshi
then agrees to sleeping outside the tent and offers to read his picture
book to him even if it’s incomplete, and Cu Sith is excited for it.
After he reads it, Cu calls it a fun story and says he was moved by how
the king was able to grant all the citizens’ wishes. He says he’d like
to live there, so Kuniyoshi offers to make him the minister.
When
asked about that, Kuniyoshi says the minister works alongside the king
to make the kingdom better. Cu Sith says he’ll do his best then, and
Kuniyoshi puts his book away. He starts talking about discussing other
things since Cu hasn’t fallen asleep, but then he notices he has, so he
decided to go to sleep too.
Flashback ends
and Cu Sith asks what is happening, then runs off to Leib’s surprise. He
says he was the minister, so he should be with the king until the end
and body blocks the Dream Eating. Everyone is shocked by this, and
Kuniyoshi yells in a panic as he grabs Cu Sith, asking why he’d do this
for him when he was dragged into his dream.
Cu
Sith says he remembered. When he saw him, he felt like he had found his
old master again. He’s glad to be with them until the end this time,
and Kuniyoshi calls him kind, thanking him. As Kuniyoshi cries, he
reverts to his normal self and the dream cancels itself. You ask what it
means now that Kuniyoshi is back to normal.
Alp
says that Kuniyoshi really is strong since he managed to end his dream
himself. Licht asks Kuniyoshi if he’s okay, and he answers he’s fine but
is more concerned for Cu Sith. Cu Sith gets back up no worse for the
wear, aside from having no idea what’s going on.
Alp
explains that his Dream Eating eats the dream that someone is having,
which causes the dreamer to forget that dream. It’s not supposed to
cause external damage. Licht says it’s fine to relax then. Leib says he
was worried about Cu Sith and tells him not to take walks on his own.
Cu
Sith apologizes for worrying him, then shouts as he notices something.
Leib asks what’s going on now, so Cu Sith points out that he’s got his
clothes on right today. Leib is taken aback and says he doesn’t need to
say that every time that happens. He says it just happened this time and
feels it doesn’t matter what you wear to bed.
Alp
says that wearing pajamas has an effect on the dreams one has, so he
asks him to wear them so he can have better dreams to eat. Leib says
they’ll have to talk later so Alp freaks for a sec, but says he’s ready
since he knows he did something wrong.
Jambavan
tries to speak up for Alp since he has to eat dreams. Leib doesn’t deny
that but says Alp still trampled over people’s privacy without asking.
An alchemist wakes up and asks what happened, so Jambavan says the
battle is over and notes he’s back to normal. He also feels like he’s
been fluffed enough for a lifetime.
The
alchemist asks if he caused any issues, so Jambavan says it’s fine. He
then goes on to ask the alchemist to stop touching him already, so he
backs off. Leib says he sees a light in the distance and figures it’s
the exit. Yo ask if it’s over this time and say you want to go back now.
Alp says something is happening to the world, and after the big light
flash you all return to reality.
Alp and
Leib are happy to be out of it, and Durga quickly makes sure everyone is
there. Jambavan notices it’s about midday and wonders if the workshop
will be suspended. You say it might end up that way or think it’ll be
fine.
The PA turns on as the alchemist
supervisor gets on and greets everyone good morning. For whatever
reason, it’s past noon already, and the Stand hassles him for sleeping
in so long. The alchemist doesn’t try to deny it, then says he was
wondering why no one was in the workshop hall, then yells for everyone
come over already.
He apologizes for
panicking, then says he’ll be waiting. As the announcement ends, Leib
notes that nothing seems to have happened in the end. Alp says he
remembers what just happened before apparently forgetting. Jambavan
stays quiet, and you shrug it off and suggest going to the workshop
area. Cu Sith and Alp agree.
Licht says
they should go too and checks to see if Benten and Kuniyoshi are up.
Kuniyoshi agrees while Benten is surprised Licht is so motivated. She
says he was the least into it earlier, and he tries to play it off. In
any case she thinks it’s pretty cool of him to be having fun at a time
like this. Kuniyoshi tells them to hurry and change, and Licht has to
run and keep up.
Durga decides to make a
race of it to the workshop, and Wakan says he’ll join her as he tells
you he’ll see you later. Gunzou tries to stop them since they’re still
in their bed clothes, then goes himself. You say you’ll see them later
or tell them not to run in the halls.
Jambavan
asks Fenrir to go on ahead as he has something he needs to do before
going over. Fenrir says he’ll wait for him there, and you turn to your
team and say to go and tell Jambavan later.
After
everyone leaves, Jambavan calls out to Alice since he’s pretty sure
she’s there. She answers, though I’m not sure if she’s also quoting from
Alice in Wonderland while she’s at it. Stuff about the king in her
dreams seeing her dream and the red king’s dream being real. She also
says it was a prettt big incident as she reveals herself.
Jambavan
says she really did come to help and erase the memories of everyone
caught in the dream. She tells him to thank her since she was protecting
the privacy of everyone who rampaged in the dreams. She also buried the
memories that touched the Taboo. Far as everyone else can see, they
just had a long dream.
Alice also says that
a new connection was formed and won’t disappear. There’s also the
separate matter with that demon who has the same concept she does. Alice
then changes subjects and says she came because she was worried when
Jambavan wasn’t contacting her and was surprised to see him trapped in a
 dream.
Now that she’s done him a favor,
Alice says she wants to see his picture book when it’s done, which
Jambavan agrees to. Alice then leaves since she’s satisfied he’s okay.
Narration then follows everyone to the workshop as things get back on
track and ends the episode by skipping to the last day.
