Valentine Festival! Epilogue

The next day after everything’s that happened everything’s been fixed up and replenished, and you’re over at the DIY corner with Behemoth. You’re helping him make stuff, and Behemoth has to remind himself that he can’t eat it. All he has left to do is to wrap it all, and he thanks you for assisting. He also apologizes for getting you involved since you were making something yourself.

You can either tell him it’s fine and that it’s fun, say you didn’t help much, or say you’ve already made what you needed to make. Going A if it matters, he’s surprised to hear that. In any case Behemoth tries to bag his stuff and struggles with that. He mentions being hungry in the middle of it, but he manages to finish up and put on the ribbons.

Narration describes Behemoth’s handiwork as misshapen and of uneven sizes, and that they’re chocolate truffles. He crams them all into a basket he’s brought with him, then says it’s time to go.

Title card pops up, and the epilogue is titled Gluttony’s Sweet Road.

We then tune back in as Behemoth spots Chouji, Shinya, and Ebisu together. Chouji is in the middle of discussing decorations when Behemoth goes over to talk to them. He starts complimenting the truffles Behemoth made, though he gets cut off when Behemoth hands him and the others some. Narration then describes his shabbily wrapped chocolates as having a note attached with terrible handwriting saying “I’m sorry. Let’s get along.”

Behemoth apologizes for what he’s done over the event and says he made the chocolates with his feelings, apologies, and gratitude. He’s also tasted the chocolates and says they can eat it right away. Behemoth also asks that they can all get along from now on.

Shinya and Chouji thank Behemoth. Ebisu comments that getting handmade chocolates reminds him of Benten, which she apparently made like it was some sort of modern art. He apologizes for spacing out and thanks Behemoth too, then suggests making chocolate with red beans together sometime.

You guys leave the trio to their thing and Behemoth feels more confident about handing his chocolates out. You then either suggest hurrying things along, say you’re excited to see how everyone else reacts, or say you guys should be careful not to be late for something you promised later.

The two of you are then outside as Behemoth psyches himself up to do this. He also asks you to stand back and watch him since it’s him who needs to apologize in the end, which you agree to do and cheer him on.

Nomad is the next one you guys meet up with. He thanks Behemoth for the chocolate and jokes about it being emergency rations until his next paycheck, but it falls flat. But anyways Nomad says he got a bonus for helping out with the incident, so he plans on getting his bike inspected.

Kamui takes the chocolate and thanks Behemoth for his consideration. Then he turns his attention to you and says he’s made a new and improved chocolate for you. He hopes you’ll enjoy it.

Ibaraki says it’s not a big deal, and thanks to what happened he could redo his chocolate. He says that up until now he has problems with putting his feelings in, but now he tried doing what you guys did.

Harlot flat out calls Behemoth’s chocolate unsightly, but she’ll still accept his efforts. Arc tells her that’s not very reassuring, then thanks Behemoth for both their shares. Azathoth laughs about his gift and calls it a limited time item.

Surtr seems surprised, but he accepts the gift and thanks Behemoth. He also tells him he’ll use his fire for him if he asks for it, offering to make his pride of the family’s full course.

Over at the tea shop, Suzuka is first. She comments on how crooked the chocolate is and takes it, then says she’ll have a counter present for this as a matter of honor. She insists that it’s just a matter of politeness. Tetsugyuu and Tetsuya take theirs, and Tetsuya comments he normally wouldn’t since he thinks he’s too old for it, but he will since it’s a gesture of apology.

Gyoubu says his kids will be happy about it, and Moritaka hopes the two of them will be good classmates from now on. Tadatomo gives Behemoth some dango and laughs when he hears it’s tasty. Marchosias says the boy likes the chocolate, and he comments on having never expected getting food from Behemoth. He also advises Behemoth to keep looking for his own path.

Shino doesn’t say anything at first, so Behemoth says his apologies as he hands the chocolate over. Shino says he doesn’t care anymore and that the future is unpredictable. Behemoth doesn’t understand, so Shino just says he doesn’t mind. But he does offer to behead him if that’s not enough, which Behemoth turns down and runs off at. Shino then walks over to you and offers some tea and snacks.

Over at the police cafe, Tajikarao says the thanks aren’t necessary since it’s his job to help. He accepts the chocolate though. Hougen laughs about how conscientious Behemoth is acting, but he also says it’s commendable and takes the chocolate. Touji is surprised that someone asked to talk to him, then thinks Behemoth is here to eat in. He talks about the place being busier than usual because of the events from earlier and that there’s a large wait time, but Behemoth says he’s not here for that.

He apologizes to Touji for his actions and says he wants to be friends with him as he hands over his chocolate. Touji is taken aback by this but agrees to take it, then says he’s a harsh critic. He reveals it to be a joke after that though.

After that you guys go to meet with the rest of the main gang, and Ryouta says the tea party is about to start. He also asks about the chocolates Behemoth has while Kengo tells you guys to hurry before everyone eats everything, even with all the stuff Ziz made. Hanuman and Agyou have joined, and Hanuman mentions that Agyou’s cavity is fixed. Agyou’s excited about Valentines, and Hanuman reminds him the dentist told him to brush his teeth after eating. He says he knows and is embarrassed about not cleaning them.

You greet the guys and say to Behemoth that this is the last of it. He bows his head as he hands the chocolate over. Ryouta happily takes one while Kengo comments on how stuffy the gesture is. He also eats his chocolate right away and says it’s good.

Shirou asks what it is Kengo is eating so you tell him what it is. Behemoth says you guys are the only ones left he needs to give his chocolates to, so Shirou says it’s nice timing since Kenta, Inugami, and the Evils are here too. He says they also were making sweets too and that they want everyone to try them.

Kenta thanks everyone for the events of the day before, and he says he told Barguest all about it and gave him lots of presents. Barguest enjoyed it all, he says. Because of that, the chocolate he made is a thank you to everyone. You thank him, thank Inugami and the Evil, or be touched about Kenta making them by hand. Behemoth thanks him in turn.

Kenta asks you to open your mouth, but you inform him that this is weird. He didn’t know since Barguest and Inugami always fed him that way. Ziz says the tea is ready so the party will be starting soon. Behemoth asks her to try his chocolate, and she says they look good. She prompts everyone to sit, and you either wish everyone a happy Valentine’s, thank them all, or say it’s time to eat.

Behemoth asks you about some chocolate that you made since you haven’t given them to anybody. You tell him it’ll be after the party because you want to hand it over in private. He says he wants to eat your sweets too. The event story ends with a comment about everyone laughing under the sun and how spring will be here soon.
