Behemoth tells Kenta to not run around and
reminds you and the Evil to stay in line. You then either acknowledge
this or say the other two understand. Ziz says everyone is a good boy
and says she’s happy about that. Then she hugs the two of them.
You
can ask Kenta to come over, coo over the Evil, or ask Ziz to hug you
too. Going with B, the Evil grabs both your hand and Shirou’s hand and
the game says it seems to be smiling. But in any case Shirou will say he
wants to explain this area a bit.
So, a
lot of the shops at the event are concentrated in the indoors area. A
bunch of groups have set up stalls for the sales area, like baking
companies, municipal groups, and volunteers.
The
center of the building is the event area. There’s a stage, and
different functions are held there. The centerpiece is the DIY Sweets
Corner, where you can make whatever kind of stuff you want.
Outside
is the dining area. There’s some space inside to eat, but that’s mostly
been moved out there. Anyways now that that’s done, Shirou suggests
splitting up to look around and meet back up outside. He’s even got a
picnic sheet and table lined up.
Kengo asks
how much of things Shirou has planned out and says he’s always been a
heavy traveler. Shirou just thinks it’s good to be prepared. Kengo then
prompts him to say something to him, given that he’s carrying half of
all that prep. Shirou tries to excuse himself before giving up and
apologizing.
Ziz says she thinks Shirou’s
delicate consideration is commendable, and Behemoth says he can’t handle
all the smells he’s getting. You then either suggest you guys look for
something nice together, tell him to get his hopes up, or suggest eating
together. Behemoth agrees happily, and Ziz you guys should split off
then.
Title card pops up here, and this chapter is called Father! Your Cake Was Big!
Camera
tunes in some time later as Ryouta is carrying a huge mound of stuff in
his hands, enough that he can’t see in front of him. But he’s happy
about it and says with this much more people can eat. He also wonders if
any of your guys’ acquaintances will turn up.
Things
shift a little elsewhere in the premises as Harlot is looking around,
wondering who she’ll give what she calls a clump of sugar. Some maid
swoons over her, and Harlot asks her for some tea and baked sweets. The
maid gets them for her, suggesting a tea set to go with them too.
Harlot
accepts the suggestion, then asks for some cute little box she sees too
to have it wrapped in. The maid goes to put it together, and Harlot
wonders aloud about giving it to Claude because she’s sure he’s gonna be
so mad about that.
Harlot says this event
is pretty nice actually and is about to compare it to something when
Azazel cuts in and finishes with Paradise. He asks if that’s what “she”
was going to say. She turns around in surprise, then looks at Azazel
with displeasure. He comments about being a fellow exile from Eden.
Ryouta
notices Harlot at this point and loudly points her out. Harlot is
mildly surprised by this, then sidesteps Ryouta’s attempt to hug her.
When asked why she did, she says she’s in the middle of some accounting
and tells him to wait like a little pig.
Ryouta
deflates a bit, so she says she’ll fatten him up and gives him one of
the sweets she bought. He cheers up, so she tells him to eat more. You
then greet Harlot as either mother, honorable sister, or just Harlot. In
A she’s all “yes it’s me your mommy” and in C she asks how you are and
says she’s happy to see you.
In any case
Ryouta asks about the rest of the Genociders while he’s eating and you
follow up with your own questions. The three of them are over at the
cake making corner, she says. You can then comment on there being a cake
corner, say you want to make a cake with Surtr, or ask if Harlot is
going.
Going with C, Harlot says she was
with them at first, but Surtr pushed her away. She just made a cake with
ten times the sugar and can’t figure out why he’d do that. That just
makes the pigs fatten up that much faster!
You
can then ask if she tried tasting it herself or comment that she must
have wanted to eat it. Going with A in case it matters, she says she
didn’t because she’d otherwise lose her girlish figure. All she wants is
to see someone lost in their desires, and the thought of it turns her
on.
Azazel joins in the conversation and
talks about how Harlot is devoted to her own desires and says that too
is love. Just like the chains on him that he starts playing with. You
and Ryouta are shocked by his sudden appearance, and he starts talking
about scapegoats and one of the origins of Valentine’s Day.
Azazel
specifically talks about Lupercalia and their sacrificial rites with
goats. Nyarlathotep then shows up and starts gibbering his greetings at
everyone. You either react with with shock at him, say he’s the same as
ever, or comment about the unusual gathering of people here.
Nyarlathotep
namedrops Shub-Niggurath the Sacrificial Goat and refers to them as a
sibling. He also compares love to foam and invites everyone to dance,
whether they be hyenas, goats, or you the concealing mist. After that he
vibrates and asks about Azathoth.
Turns
out he does have something he wants to give to him, which he describes
as dark and melting. It’s some chocolate he’s melting on his tongue
right that second. Harlot is barely phased and points out Azathoth, and
Nyarlathotep teleports before she even finishes saying anything.
Over
at the cake making area, Azathoth is laughing his head off while Arc is
trying to wipe some cream off of him. He does react to this and says
she’s tickling him, while Arc teases him about making her work so hard.
Then she notices Nyarlathotep.
Nyarlathotep
calls this the lamentation of the luxuriant and asks if it’s his role
to wait on him. Arc just greets him casually, and Azathoth greets him
with some blasphemy. Nyarlathotep seems happy about this and talks about
giving Azazoth his love until Azathoth cuts him off by grabbing his
tongue with a hand covered in cream.
The
two of them laugh and Harlot comments on the noise. You start talking
about how fun it is and how much good food is here, and Ryouta finishes
your sentence comparing things to Paradise.
Azazel
laughs while Harlot goes quiet. You ask about their reactions, and
Azazel explains that the two of them were cast out of Eden, which the
word paradise reminds them of on some level. Ryouta apologizes for being
insensitive, though Harlot says it’s fine. It’s not like he said
anything wrong, she thinks.
With some
reservations, you decide to try asking why they were cast out. Azazel
says it’s because Eden is one of the paradises. To elaborate, he talks
about how the word paradise was derived from pairidaeza, an Old Iranian
word for “walled-in garden or complex.” It’s a place meant to separate
‘this side’ and ‘that side.’ Sacrifices and offerings have to be given
to those inside, and the sacrifices or scapegoats have to bear their
sins for them.
That’s what Azazel and
Harlot are, scapegoats. But anyways Azazel decides to draw attention to
the fact that all the other worlds including Tokyo are walled in,
calling it a funny coincidence. You either question this, say you don’t
get it, or keep quiet.
Azazel then brushes
this all off as boring and apologizes, excusing himself to go talk to
Arc and compare chains. After he goes Harlot is about to ask why you
guys are here before remembering the event going on. Ryouta asks if
she’s also buying sweets, and she says it’s stuff for a tea party and
then personal stuff.
Since you guys are
getting together soon, Ryouta invites Harlot along. She considers, so
you either invite her too or suggest that inviting her so suddenly is
rude. She decides to come along, phrasing it as hand feeding you all
sweet sins. Harlot does decide she needs to grab more stuff then, and
you guys head off with her.
Outside,
Behemoth turns out to have already stuffed himself and Harlot is
disappointed it’s over already. She comments that surprising things
always happen with you guys, then looks at Behemoth sternly. You ask why
he’s already like that.
Kengo explains
Behemoth couldn’t wait and ate up all the candy the others had brought
along, which shocks Ryouta. Behemoth apologizes, and Ryouta sympathizes.
However, Behemoth is still hungry and says he might end up eating the
grass and trees too.
Ryouta volunteers to
buy more stuff and asks Harlot to wait. She tells him to wait and brings
up Ziz’s tea as she pulls out some of her own bags. She’s bought a
bunch though they are her preferences, so she asks if they’ll work.
Ryouta promises to help replace them, so she says she’ll make him carry
her shopping.
Harlot then says it’s time
for the extra stuff to be coming. Surtr walks over saying he’s brought
things over, and you either greet him, compliment his body, or
compliment his clothes.
Going with B, Surtr
says it’s just in case the end ever happens, and that he trains for you
guys. In any case Harlot asks if he’s brought it over, and Surtr brings
out what he calls the first cake. Shirou and Kengo are shocked
speechless by the size of it, though Ryouta’s happy.
The
cake is big enough that you have to look up at it. You can ask if it’s a
wedding cake, ask how he pulled it from behind himself, or say it must
be a cake a giant made. Ryouta will say it looks familiar somehow, so
Harlot says it’s famous.
Ziz says it’s a
chocolate cake and talks about its aroma and decorations. Harlot tells
you guys to dig in and says it’s from a new Valentine creation from
Patisserie Iimori, so Chouji must have made it. Surtr prompts everyone
to observe table manners, then you guys try it out.
Ziz
describes it as melting in the mouth despite the rich chocolate, and
Surtr is impressed with the decorative cutting. Kenta says he’ll save
his strawberry for last, so Harlot says she’ll give him hers. He thanks
her, and she wipes some cream off his face.
Shirou
asks why Ryouta is smiling and not eating, so he says he’s kinda happy
to hear people compliment Chouji’s cake. Since Chouji has been in a
slump he wanted to have him hear people’s thoughts. Harlot compliments
Ziz’s tea, who thanks her and offers her another.
Harlot
also says it’s cute how she bends down, which takes her aback and prods
her into asking Harlot to not make fun of her. Harlot suggests Ziz has a
complex about her size and finds that cute too. Ziz thanks her this
time and comments that Harlot’s treatment of her is the opposite of how
she treats Behemoth.
To elaborate, Ziz says
she’s seen Harlot look at Behemoth with hatred and a sense of wanting
to look away but being unable to. Harlot admits to it, saying it must be
because he knows himself but still can’t stop giving into his desires.
Ziz
thinks that’s cute too and says she has to protect everyone. Harlot
tells her to reign it in a little, despite her position. Anyways Ryouta
asks Harlot for shop recommendations. Aside from Chouji’s, she mentions
Ebisu-ya in the Japanese sweets section and their manju. She does have
reservations about putting them in a tea stand for her own parties
though.
Behemoth sadly says he doesn’t
taste anything, which shocks Harlot. She takes another bite of her own
slice and describes it, so Ryouta gives an offscreen explanation. Harlot
and Surtr understand the situation and what you guys are doing. Harlot
then asks Behemoth about his role as one of the three beasts of Eden and
Ziz being another.
You try to ask about
what she’s talking about, and Harlot chides you for trying to butt in.
Anyways she comments that it’s not often she’s seen someone continue to
eat while looking so miserable, even with her experience and interest in
the topic. Kengo asks if he really can’t taste anything with all he
eats.
Behemoth says it’s true, and that he
reaches out for nice smelling food even if he knows he can’t taste it.
And once he starts he can’t stop himself. Shirou figures that’s a result
of everything turning to energy.
Harlot
asks if Behemoth can taste Ziz’s cooking, which he confirms. Harlot and
Ziz then talk about how taste is what settles his appetite, and Harlot
seems to understand something. You ask her to share what she knows, but
all she says is that she has a guess as to why and turns to Surtr.
Surtr
says it’s familiar to him too the way Behemoth is. Ziz tries to talk to
Harlot, and the game makes a point of mentioning Harlot looking at her
as an equal instead of a child. She says Ziz can stay quiet, then asks
Surtr if the other thing she asked for is ready.
Surtr
says it’s done baking but it’s still being decorated. Arc and Azathoth
should be on that, but Behemoth says he can’t hold out much longer as he
starts reaching for weeds around himself.
Harlot
says they need more time, and then the event battle theme starts
playing. She complains about it and asks if it was the same song as
earlier. You explain, but Harlot demands more details. Shirou
sympathizes but wonders if she’d accept it even if she got them. Surtr
however is following along fine
You can
either be glad it got through or be alarmed about body language. Either
way Surtr is on board with burning calories with everyone and says he’ll
join in as himself. He strips off his pants and shirt and asks what you
think of his body after the camera pans over it. Then he calls for
everyone to follow along with the exercise.
You
can be mad about how big he is, ask in shock why he took his clothes
off, or try your best to resist. Going with B, Surtr says it’s partly to
show the pride of the giants and partly to keep the clothes Arc picked
out for him from getting dirty.
Harlot
complains that she hates this bit about Surtr, and Ziz tries to calm her
down and says he has his cute side. She seems annoyed by this, and
Surtr extends a hand to Behemoth. He says that they are similar as
offerings to the world, then enthusiastically invites him to burn fat
with him. Behemoth doesn’t really get it but he seems touched and
agrees.
Harlot gives up and says this is
why she can’t join along with things. Ryouta and Kenta grab onto her
arms, and she demands they let go. Ryouta says Kenta wants them to dance
together, and Kenta tries to invite her to join. She tries to protest,
but they drag her along. Surtr yells out loud and directs people to hold
their chests up high and spread their feet, and then the episode battle
starts.
