Live A Hero Summer Dive Amusement Episode 3

We pick up from before, still in the midst of battling against the first set of Suhail's goons to find us. Akashi is getting annoyed at how persistent they are and moves to cue up his ultimate, so you have to remind him he can't use it because you guys don't have the MP Views. Akashi is dismayed when he remembers and complains about how endless the mobs are, then asks how Hitomi is holding up. He suggests clearing out everyone else still standing before the ones already down get back up again.

Hitomi agrees to the plan and talks about not being able to use her Doki-Doki Charge without any Views. She notices more mobs incoming from a nearby beach and asks Akashi to go handle them, so he says he will and asks you to take care of Hitomi. He runs off to an open beach trying to draw them away from nearby places to lessen possible collateral, and you two run off past some greenery as villain mobs chase you.

You two eventually run into a corner as one of the mobs notes, and he's totally sure he's getting that Venus bonus. Hitomi tells you that she has a plan and asks you to trust in her. Specifically, she asks that you close your eyes for a few seconds until she tells you it's okay to open them again. You either are surprised and ask why, roll with it and agree, or point out this means you'll stop observing her. In A, Hitomi is flustered as she explains she has a move she can't use when people are watching, so she asks Pubraseer to shut his eyes too. In B, Hitomi thanks you and stresses you can't peek at all. She then asks Pubraseer to avert his gaze. In C, Hitomi says it'll only be a few seconds, so her transformation will still hold out. Then she asks Pubraseer to close his eyes like in the other branches.

Pubraseer cheerfully complies, and Hitomi says she's gonna get started and asks that everyone keep those eyelids shut tight. You either do as asked or try to sneak a peek, but the latter has an extra bit where Hitomi notices and pleads with you again to listen to her, looking straight at your eyes. You then shut your eyes hard or shut them really hard, and either way once she's sure you're not looking you hear her walking up to the mobs.

Hitomi talks about how resorts are places that everyone gets excited over, and she won't allow the villains to take it away from people and make them sad. The mobs do not feel threatened by her and wonder what she can do without any Views and with her mic and stand. She bodies him non-lethally mid-sentence by clubbing him with it, shocking a second mob who attempts to attack her for this. She clubs him down next, so a third mob freaks out and attempts to surrender and beg for mercy. But the bodies continue hitting the floor as the voices eventually quiet down to groans of pain and footsteps on the sand.

Eventually Hitomi gives the OK to open your eyes again, which you do cautiously. You see Hitomi coming back as her magical girl hero dress has deactivated by this point. The mobs on the other hand are running away sobbing and crying if they aren't twitching on the ground intermittently. You either ask what happened or comment to yourself that maybe you're better off not knowing, and Pubraseer is amazed at the carnage and says Hitomi must be strong to have caused all that. Hitomi tries to pass it off by saying that pretty and strong is her motto. But anyways now that this set of goons are taken care of, she suggests regrouping with Akashi.

You either cheer for Hitomi, ask her to tell you what she did, and/or thank her as you grab her hand. She shrieks at this contact, so you immediately back off and apologize while she lets go. Hitomi quickly clarifies that she was just surprised instead of upset or anything, and she apologizes for the sudden yell. She then hears the sound of someone running, so she sets the topic aside and promises to talk more about it later.

Akashi runs in at this point asking if you guys are okay saying he heard Hitomi scream. Hitomi answers that she's okay and asks if Akashi has been hurt. Akashi says he's fine and is about to say something about the villains when he's surprised at what he sees. But anyways he's glad the three of you are okay, so he suggests checking to see which of the mobs has the key and radio.

When Akashi's hero suit quits out, Suhail pops up a display window to holo-chat with you guys again. He cheerfully greets you guys and comments on how interesting it is you guys thrashed his crew so quickly. He laughs and says he's impressed with you all. Suhail says you guys qualify for his special mission, then tells you to head to the attraction area next. Hitomi is surprised by this and asks why Suhail is telling you guys that, suggesting it may be a trap.

Suhail just laughs off the comment and says he's telling you because it'd be boring if you guys failed to get to him in time. Akashi apologetically tells Hitomi that Suhail is being serious when he says that, as he's a crazy ass villain who will do anything that seems like fun for him and hate anything that isn't. Suhail taunts Akashi about understanding him a bit more, then says it's time to make things more exciting. And speaking of exciting news, Suhail tells you guys that there's apparently someone else besides you four still on board. He's not sure why they're here, but maybe you can group up with them before his other crew members attack them.

You are shocked to hear that someone else is around and attempt to argue that they have no involvement with what's happening. Akashi says they're in danger if they're someone who can't fight like Pubraseer, and Hitomi agrees saying that if they are a hero they'll be having trouble with the lack of stable views. Suhail frames this as a race to see which side will find this other party first, then orders his mobs to go get this person. His crew responds obediently before the call cuts off.

Akashi is outraged at an unrelated third party getting caught up in the incident. Hitomi tells you guys that the attraction area is ahead along the beach, and as she turns to ask Pubraseer to come along she notices him acting strangely. She asks if something is wrong since he seems less energetic than before, so Pubraseer says he's been having a headache since earlier. It's not that bad though, so he says he's fine. Akashi says they can't force him to do much, but he's against leaving him by himself. He asks Pubraseer to inform you guys if he starts feeling worse, offering to shoulder him up if he does. Pubraseer agrees, thanking him and calling him a kind guy.

The party heads over to the attraction area will still worrying a bit about Pubraseer, and Akashi starts talking about what a pain in the ass situation Suhail has gotten you all into. He's still confused how they all seem to be enjoying themselves, so Hitomi figures it's because they're on a luxury resort ship that they could just visit like a normal person. Hitomi then tells you she can hear someone's voice up ahead, which could be this other person trapped aboard, and she urges everyone to hurry.

Once you guys reach the next destination Akashi says you guys are here to help, then is surprised to see it's Hydoor who's around fighting as hard as he can while unable to transform. Hydoor is mad at the mobs attacking him for some reason, then notices your presence. He demands that you guys help him, then feels the need to clarify that he didn't attack the mobs first. He doesn't know who they are, but they came up looking for a fight, and he curses his inability to transform. You ask if Hydoor is okay, comment that Hydoor seems to be the kind of guy who likes fights, or say it must be because of his rough gangster speech. In A, Hydoor says he obviously isn't and demands you help already. In B, Hydoor angrily denies the idea and tells you to take a good look at what's happening. In C, Hydoor takes offense and asks if you don't like his speech patterns.

Hitomi is surprised to see Hydie/Hy-kun and asks if he's the other person left aboard. Akashi is in turn surprised Hitomi knows him and asks how she ever became acquainted with a punk ass jerk like him. Hitomi explains that Hydoor is a sports brand swimsuit model and sometimes their photo sessions overlap. She was taking pictures and interviewing with him earlier today at the pool. Akashi is surprised at this and says Hydoor's been doing pretty well using his speed to fend the mobs off while not in hero mode.

Hydoor gets irritated as he demands you guys get a move on and stop having a casual conversation. He insists that he's just a normal virtuous hero who was dragged to this stupid ass ship, and while he's at it he tells Hitomi to stop calling him Hydie/Hy-kun already. Akashi decides to ignore the virtuous hero thing and says it is his way as a hero to help people in trouble. Hitomi says she'll help too, then tells Hydie to send you send you a hero contract. Hydoor still protests against the diminutive before giving up for the time being, then angrily tells you he's sending the contract for you to accept already.

You either stress out a little or stay unruffled as you move to hit the window prompt on the phone. This causes Hydoor to be enveloped in light, which disperses after he transforms. He immediately takes a deep breath as he says he was having a hard time earlier, but now he's good. He starts cussing out the pirates, and you either suggest to Hydoor that you guys get them, ask him to follow your commands, or tell everyone to get along. In A, Hydoor swears to make them regret looking down on him and attacking him. In B, Hydoor clicks his tongue but gives in, telling you to do it right if you're taking charge. In C, Hydoor is surprised by that and says he only needs to not attack his allies. Whatever happens next is something he can stop caring about. Akashi teases Hydoor for admitting he sees you guys as friendlies, causing him to bluster that he does of course, then threatening to hit you guys if you touch his dorsal fin.

Anyways, you pull up the command menu and tell Akashi and Hitomi you're starting their transformations. Both respond in acknowledgement, but when you start on Akashi's the phone says it's found a new path while searching for a vision reference and asks if you want to connect to it. You are briefly confused by this, but shrug and hit the OK button. A green light as opposed to the usual color flashes around Akashi, transforming him into his swimsuit variant hero suit. He reacts in shock when he realizes what he's dressed in.

Title card pops up here, and this episode is Be Cool, Be Aggressive! Summer Formation!

Back to the plot, Akashi is now in his new form along with a new Parallel Weapon. He's embarrassed by the outfit, asking if it's his suit and accusing you of having done something. You have a brainwave and wonder if this is that thing Hisaki developed, ask if this is what Crowne was talking about, or say Maculata did a good job. Hitomi is also surprised by the new suit and asks Akashi what it is while saying it has high affinity with swimsuits. She thinks it's super cute and asks you how you did that.

Hydoor says he's never seen Akashi's default hero suit, but he thinks what he has now isn't that bad. Seems like something fitting for the sea. Pubraseer is amazed and says it looks good on Akashi. He also says he looks dashing, then asks if he's using it right. Akashi is still trying to process his new outfit, and he eventually tells you to explain what's going on to him later.

While everyone is in the middle of talking about Akashi's new swimsuit hero form, the mobs present are watching you guys feeling ignored. One starts suggesting they might be able to win if they attack while you guys are distracted. Another agrees, saying that it's a chance to capture the lot of you and get that bonus Suhail promised. A third concurs and says they'll split the bonus between all of them, and they count down to spring a coordinated attack.

Back to your side, Akashi is wondering how his variant weapon works now since he has a mitt but no ball. He quickly figures out how to summon a ball, then decides to try a test throw as a warm up. He throws the energy ball which zooms into a space where no one is currently occupying, but the mob group happens to jump into that same space a second later declaring they'll get the bonus before getting blasted into the water.

The party is stunned silent at what happened, and Pubraseer is the first to talk again as he expresses amazement at the mobs flying and calling Akashi cool. Akashi agrees as he tries to catch up, then tells Hitomi they should hurry up and take out the rest of the mobs around. Hitomi agrees and suggests to Hydoor they split off from here, saying she'll explain later. Hydoor goes along with it, still unsure what's happening but figuring that it should be simple with a bunch of them already blown away. Hydoor turns to you and yells that you better focus on operating right, so you nod and get ready to send commands through your phone. You tell the three to get ready to fight, and the episode battle begins as Hydoor says he's coming for payback from earlier. More happens afterwards.

After the battle, the story starts up a flashback where Hisaki is greeting Crowne, then says he's glad that you all could come. Crowne notes he seems to be the same as ever and doesn't seem to be suffering from the summer heat. Hisaki laughs and says she should know he didn't train himself physically for nothing, and you greet Hisaki and say you haven't seen him since Valentine's.

Hisaki greets you back and says he's been researching something new since the Valentine's incident. Maculata says this is her first time meeting him, then introduces herself just in case. Hisaki thanks Maculata for coming, calling her Big Sis Maculata and saying he's heard about her from rumors Crowne told him long ago. Maculata asks Crowne what it is she told him, then says her student is unique to be calling her Sis. Crowne denies that Hisaki is her student, then asks him if he's finished with his preparation. Hisaki answers that he has of course. The virtual verification test went well so now he just has to make it for real, but first he has to explain to you and Maculata what's going on.

You ask what Hisaki is working on and/or why you were asked to come to his lab, so Hisaki brings up that you transformed heroes into alternate forms before when you activated them. Since then he's tried investigating what happened with that in more concrete terms. You remember what happened with Kyoichi and Shoen and say it happens sometimes, and Hisaki says he believes that it must be your power to materialize changes that normal Observers can't cause. In more practical terms, you are picking up dream paths that normally wouldn't be enough to use for hero transformations and looking for parallel worlds where those dreams were realized. Then, you summon Parallel Weapons from the parallel worlds normal Observers can't perceive. He figures you being able to do this means you have really good eyes.

Crowne says that when she heard all that from Hisaki, she wondered if it was possible to control the phenomenon better if his assumptions are right. It'd be super convenient if you were able to control how it manifests. For example, you could adapt the suit for different situations if you need it for something like heat resistance, waterproofing, or heavy armor. Hisaki adds that it can also be used as backup if the necessary functions are set up, so he feels it should be plenty useful. It might not necessarily be controllable to when it's most convenient, but he feels it's worth betting on if your observational strength is something special. As such, he'd like you to cooperate with this and asks if there's anything you don't understand.

You say you think you get the gist of it, so Crowne says if your eyes are really that good, then by following the analogy you could go looking into distant stores for clothes resembling any designs you were given and picking them up. She and Hisaki are working together to construct stuff for that purpose, and you just have to summon it. Maculata quickly figures she's been called to design the clothes, which Crowne confirms saying it makes sense to leave it to a designer specialist.

Maculata laughs and says Crowne is lacking in her flattery game, but that's good enough for now. She thinks the idea sounds like fun and a good chance to flex her hero suit designing skills. Crowne says that now with everyone on the same page, she turns to Hisaki and asks to see his base system he messaged her about. Hisaki directs her to one of his larger computers and brags about it being something he's proud of. A bunch of technical jargon and numbers are lined up on the screen, and Crowne nods after looking at it.

Crowne says she sees as she talks about the computer picking up electrical signal data from receptors, finagling VP converters, and repurposing Parallel Weapon summoning gimmicks to access a parallel world. She says it's a good idea and seems fine as far as she can tell, so the next thing needed for this is designing the receptor. Hisaki says the system can be miniaturized, so he thinks it'll be fine to make it into some sort of wearable accessory.

Maculata reminds the two that accessories fall under designing, then asks how small Hisaki can miniaturize his system in practice, like a necklace or bracelet or whatever. She gets fired up to design some suits and accessories, then asks if she needs to design for waterproofing or heat protection. While the three are talking animatedly, you ask what you need to do or ask to be included in the conversation since it seems like fun. Hisaki tells you he wants you to gather data during the hero transformation. Once the equipment is complete, he wants you to give it to a hero you can observe from close by and have them wear it. He then asks you to put on a helmet and trying transforming him, then asks to borrow your phone to update a part of its system functions.

Back to the present, Akashi has been informed of all that and asks in shock that you tell him to begin with if that's what was going on. The mobs Suhail sent out have been sent packing by this point, and Akashi is moaning like he's exhausted now that things are quiet. He's sad as he talks about how the necklace you gave him wasn't really a present from you, though he quickly says it's not really a disappointment or anything. He was the one to misunderstand what was up after all. You either apologize for depressing him, say you forgot to explain at the time, or promise to get him a different present later. In A, Akashi starts to say he's not really depressed, but he backs off from it and says he wants some time to think about it. In B, Akashi says he did think it was weird how you suddenly gave it to him in front of people at the office. In C, Akashi blushes and says he wasn't really fishing for a gift, but then asks if you're serious.

Anyways, Akashi decides to just think of it as you picking him to help out with some research. He'd have appreciated being informed earlier, but it did give him a new hero form. You decide to not inform him that you already asked Mokdai and Sui to help but were rejected on that front. Hydoor opines that it's not really a big deal since Akashi could still transform. Hitomi agrees since it's wonderful, then expresses a desire to get a new suit too. Pubraseer also says Akashi was amazing and says he was great at throwing balls.

Hydoor changes the subject to ask Hitomi who all the weirdos who attacked him were. His agency already warned him against getting into a fight, so it was a pain in the ass getting rushed like that. Hitomi immediately insists that he call her Hito-chan and wonders how many times she'll have to repeat herself, causing Hydoor to insist back that she stop with the cutesy nickname for him and get back on topic.

Hitomi is briefly confused before remembering what he was asking about. She doesn't know the smaller details, but she explains that they're pirate villains who have stolen control of the ship and trying to go to the bottom of the sea. Hydoor is baffled and asks why'd they bother doing that, so Akashi takes over to explain the rest about Suhail's motive that the game skips over.

Hydoor sighs long-suffering after getting brought up to speed. He talks about wondering why there were fish swimming in the sky earlier, but now he knows the ship really is diving down. He also says he hates difficult topics, but he does grasp that there are jerks around trying to mess up the ocean, so he decides to help you guys out. It's also partially out of Hydoor hating having to owe other people, and he suggests hurrying up with recapturing the ship since he's already annoyed at being forced to come here.

Pubraseer cheerfully notes that Hydie has joined the party and says that having more people makes things more fun. Hydoor is surprised and needs a moment to remember Pubraseer's name before telling him to not call him by the same name Hitomi does. Akashi says things being fun is going to depend on Hydoor's mood, but that aside they need all the help with fighting they can get. He agrees with Hydoor's suggestion to get the ship back quickly and bring it back to the surface. You try to play peacemaker and/or wonder if things will be okay with the party being what it is.

Now that the current conversation is over, everyone starts to get up and get ready to go to the attraction area next. Before you take a step anywhere though, Hitomi suddenly asks you for a moment looking serious. She says she has a favor to ask of you that only you can do, then asks if she can borrow the necklace Akashi had. Hydoor is surprised by this question, and Pubraseer asks her if she's interested in the research you're helping with too.

Hitomi says the research itself may be over her head, but she thinks the idea of getting a different hero suit to be fantastic, so she pleads for you to let her join it as another test subject. You either express excitement at the idea of Hitomi getting a new form or ask if she wants to change her suit too, and Pubraseer asks if Hitomi is gonna get the same thing Akashi did. Hitomi says it'd be embarrassing if she got the same suit Akashi did, but she points out that Maculata made a bunch of patterns. If there's a world out there with a hero suit where her wish was granted, she wants to see it at least once, and her eyes sparkle in excitement as she looks at you.

Hitomi says she does like her current dress, but it's kind of sad that it can't change. She talks about how heroes are people who fight to protect others, but she'd like to enjoy wearing something bright and stylish on the battlefield. Hitomi argues that idol fighters are all about fighting in a way appropriate to the time, place, and occasion and asks if Hydoor agrees. He's shocked to be brought into this and says he usually leaves his clothes to the company. Hitomi presses him again for his opinion, so Hydoor caves in and says he agrees. He talks about how the research is to look for hero suits to fit whatever environment you're in, and while he doesn't know Akashi's default suit is like, he figures a new one would be usable on land and in water in this case. The interior of Muirauqa-made ships should have security areas only reachable by aquatic beings, so a suit like that should be helpful for Earthlings.

You think aloud about how it should be fine given the situation you're in, and you weren't actually told not to lend it to anyone else. Akashi says there's no telling what'll happen since it is a trial product from Hisaki, but he sees how serious Hitomi is about it. Since his data is already put into your phone, he thinks it should be fine. Hisaki ought to be happy to have more data too, so you nod and hand the necklace over to Hitomi, though you remind her it might not work. Hitomi excitedly thanks you and says she'll do her best, then clips it on. She asks how it looks on her, then says she still wants to be an idol even if she can't fight or stream. She asks you to keep a firm watch on her, and the necklace gives off a faint blue light. Hydoor makes sure Hitomi can't see him sighing, and Pubraseer happily starts leading you all to the attraction area as the episode ends.

Live A Hero Summer Dive Amusement Episode 2

About two hundred years ago, there was a civilization on Muirauqa IV that developed advanced scientific technology and carried out its own particular evolution. A voice talks about how outside the windows of the ship they're own, there's a new planet out there. It's been a long journey, but now they've finally reached Muirauqa IV. A second voice whose text is colored green teases the first, telling him to save his sentimentality for when he's an old doddering geezer. The first speaker calls the second person Ellipe, then agrees as he says they need to discover what civilization is on the planet.

Ellipe excitedly stresses that their work is only beginning now, then turns to a third guy named Hyrosh for support. Hyrosh doesn't say much (what is there is colored blue), so Ellipe teases him for being blunt as usual. He suggests he be more friendly, then turns to Kahoni for his opinion. Kahoni's lines are in red, and he complains about being busy and having to do Ellipe's work whenever he skivs out on something to fool around.

The first voice thanks and apologizes to Kahoni about his work stuff, then asks if Tinbanos and Darumaki are helping him. Tinbanos answers first, his text colored purple. He stammers that he's there and says the light outside is so bright, then says Darumaki is looking for a hot spring for some reason. Kahoni jokes about Darumaki being at it again, then suggests that you ought to go drinking with aliens if you find any. Darumaki comes back at this point with his yellow text, and he says that while he couldn't really communicate with the natives, he did find out that they had booze. There are active volcanoes and hot springs further ahead, so he suggests going over for a soak. Ellipe is shocked that Kahoni called it right and is amazed at Darumaki's communication abilities. He says he'll go to the hot springs though, and Hyrosh speaks up to say he'll go too. The first voice tries reigning them in by saying they need to finish their landing reports first and confiscates the alcohol.

The unnamed voice narrates that there is life on other planets, and when this knowledge spread, the great age of universal sailing began. When unknown technology from other planets was adopted, developments accelerated and investigation teams were sent out more frequently. The voice and his group were one of those teams, seeking the technologies of Muirauqa IV and setting their eyes on the universe itself.

Back to the flashback, the first voice is concerned to hear that the sea level on Muirauqa IV has been rising the past few years and asks if it's due to the atmospheric pollution accompanying its development of its civilization. Hyrosh confirms as such, saying that the scholars in the city have checked and are sure that is the case. He's been studying their language and has learned their words for atmosphere and pollution, and he says he'll study it some more.

The first voice thanks Hyrosh for his linguistic analysis and asks Tinbanos to conduct a geological survey. Tinbanos obediently responds, then timidly asks if it's okay for him to collect samples from five places. He'd prefer that Ellipe come with him if possible if he's not busy, so he can get his historical opinion. The first voice agrees to the suggestion and says he'll tell Ellipe. He also agrees to okay a trip to a volcanic zone and a forested area if Tinbanos needs it and starts to assign Darumaki to something.

The planetary investigation proceeded smoothly, and everything the team saw was bright, new, and exciting. Every time they figured out something they didn't understand before, they were overjoyed at the new knowledge they had pieced together. Everyone was animated about things, and the speaker was happy too. None of them ever dreamed that The Incident would happen...

Title card pops up, and this episode is called Welcome to the Ocean Prison!

Back to the present, the party has taken Pubraseer to the medic's office where he was given some medicine. He rushed over to the restroom, and once he comes out he looks a lot better. Pubraseer casually thanks everyone and says he was having stomach problems. Akashi has some doubts as to whether Pubraseer is really okay and asks if he ate something weird. For that matter, he wonders if the resort even has anything like that around. Pubraseer thinks for a moment and says he was cleaning around, but when he went on break he went fishing. He managed to pick up some sort of rainbow colored, long, and thin fish, and when he tried eating it that was when he felt sick.

You note that the fish had to be the reason for Pubraseer's illness and tell him not to eat fish he doesn't know much about. Pubraseer brushes off the concern saying he's okay thanks to you all, then thinks to introduce himself at this point. This reminds Akashi that none of you have introduced yourselves to him yet, so he goes first. Hitomi follows up, asking him to call her Hito-chan and being glad he's okay now. You politely introduce yourself after that and can comment Pubraseer looks cool now that you're taking another look at him. If you do, Pubraseer is flattered and thanks you, saying that's the first time anyone's said that to him.

Anyways, Pubraseer tells you all he's forgotten a lot of things in a laid back manner. All he remembers is his name right now, but if he remembers anything else he'll be sure to tell you guys. Hitomi is concerned and asks if Pubraseer has amnesia, and Akashi asks if it's okay for Pubraseer to be so relaxed about it. Having no memories ought to be distressing, and he asks if Pubraseer is worried. Pubraseer says he was just floating on the ocean's surface nearby a little while ago, then he was spotted by people aboard the ship. They had to teach him to speak again, and they've done a remarkable job given how fluent he is now. He comments that learning new things is fun, which makes Akashi feel uncomfortable about how he goes about with his own school life.

You offer to answer any questions Pubraseer has about anything and/or warn him not to eat any strange fish again. Pubraseer is amazed at how nice you are and thanks you, then asks that you tell him if he says anything weird since he doesn't mean anything bad. Hitomi says it's okay since people help one another when there's trouble, then asks that he say something if anything is wrong. She reiterates her relief that he's okay, then begins suggesting you guys head to the ceremony when the whole ship rumbles and the sky past the wall darkens.

Hitomi yelps and asks what's happening, as does Akashi who wonders if this is some sort of thing with the ceremony. You say you haven't heard anything about that and tell everyone to be careful. Once the shaking stops, you can slowly feel the ship moving somewhere, and soon it becomes clear the the ship is diving down. Hitomi is surprised when she sees fish swimming outside the ship's dome. Pubraseer's first thought is that work is done for the day despite him not being finished. Akashi tells him that's not important and says you guys can't get to the ceremony at this rate, then realizes you guys can't go home period like this. When he starts to reach for his phone to call Mokdai, some other man's voice starts laughing through the PA system.

The voice starts laughing about his disbelief that things have gone to plan so smoothly, but now that they're here it's time for the fun to start. You ask who's speaking or recognize the voice, and a display window pops up to project a hologram body. This turns out to be Suhail, who recognizes you guys when he says he was wondering who was still aboard. It's a surprise, but a fun one. You either refer to Suhail as Captain in surprise, ask why he's there, or swoon over him. A has an extra line of Akashi being shocked as he asks about Suhail's presence. C has a different extra line of Akashi being baffled about you being happy to see Suhail, then asks old man Suhail why he's around.

Suhail asks why you guys are so surprised and reminds you that he's a villain. If he sees something that gets his interest, he goes in and takes it. That's how the captain of the Bautista Pirates, Captain Tronesion and Suhail Bautista rolls, baby! Suhail's underlings cheer and fawn over him on cue, calling him the best and complimenting his bulk among other things. Suhail laughs and thanks his crew, saying he loves them too.

Pubraseer is unconcerned about a pirate being around and thinks Suhail is a fun guy to have around. Hitomi on the other hand is confused and asks about you and Akashi knowing him. Akashi shrugs and says you guys sorta do know him, then briefly describes Suhail as the boss of some villain pirates. Hitomi asks if that means they're the criminals sinking the resort to the sea, which Akashi says seems to be the case. Akashi turns to Suhail and demands to know what his deal is and tells him to put the ship back.

Suhail is amused at the question about his motive and agrees to tell you guys, figuring you can't leave anyway. He puffs up as he folds his arms, then speaks proudly about recently getting some info about some unknown OOParts being discovered drifting in this area. There's also rumors that Muirauqa IV used to have a super advanced civilization on it, and it's currently impossible to build back up to those levels at present. But anyways he wants to go find more of those things and either sell them or use them or whatever. It'll be a laugh either way. You ask why he's taking the resort ship when he can go with his own, or ask if he's treasure hunting. The latter gets an extra line of Suhail laughing about you getting it.

Anyways, Suhail says that the OOparts come from the deepest part of the ocean, which is farther down than his own ship is capable of reaching. But a little thing like that isn't gonna stop the Bautista Pirates! If his can't get there, then he can just hijack one that can! Hitomi remembers at this point that the resort ship is capable of deep sea diving and realizes that's why they're after it. Suhail confirms as such and says that the ship being a resort island is just a bonus on top, so two birds with one stone! Or three birds rather. Suhail then tells his crew that after they get the OOparts they're after, it's gonna be party time at the resort ship.

Akashi cuts in on Suhail's antics to declare you guys are totally taking back the ship from him and stopping his plans. Hitomi agrees, saying Suhail can't be allowed to hog the ship to himself. Suhail is amused they can talk back to him in this situation, so he promises to listen to whatever they have to lecture him about if they can actually catch him. If you guys can't do so by the time the ship reaches the sea floor, then Suhail says he'll take you guys along with the ship as part of the haul. You respond by telling him to wait for you guys or saying you'll tell Gammei about this. B gets an extra bit of Suhail taunting you to do it. He knows Gammei is an Earth-based policeman and doesn't really have jurisdiction on another planet. He then asks that you actually not call Gammei over and have him shout into his ears.

Suhail says now's your only chance to talk smack and that you have no way of winning right now. He's already taken full control of the ship's power source and operation unit with his minions in place, and while he's at it he informs you guys he's disconnected the network so phones and livestreaming won't work here. Akashi is taken aback at this and initially thinks it's some sort of bluff, but you check and tell Akashi that you guys actually are cut off from communications. Your phone is spitting out Out of Coverage error messages, and a livestream camera you have with you also can't connect to anything.

Hitomi worries about how you guys can't call anyone, battlestream, or leave the ship and compares the situation to being imprisoned. Her face pales as she turns to you, and one of Suhail's crew members points out to him how you guys would have to destroy the whole ship if you were to fight since they have control of everything already. That would nullify the point of hijacking the ship and having a party on it if that were to happen. Suhail gets mad at this since that would be a lame way for things to go since he wants an actual fight, and since neither side wants the ship destroyed he needs to think of something better. Suhail then decides to actually send his goons to fight you guys, and he promises to fight you guys himself if you can beat his crew calling it a special mission.

Suhail's crew is also baffled by this decision and question why he'd deliberately give you guys a fighting chance. One of them sighs in resignation about how impulsive Suhail is, and another sighs about how *~awesome~* and in love with him he is. Some other guy asks Suhail to go on the merry-go-round with him if he disembarks, and Pubraseer claps at all this and says the pirates seem like a lot of fun and wants to hang out with them.

Akashi is quiet for a bit before asking if Pubraseer even gets that you guys are trapped. Pubraseer says his general understanding is that a bunch of cheery guys have stolen the ship, so you shrug and say he's not wrong. Suhail says that now that he's decided, you guys will have to play along with it too. He turns to his crew and says he'll give them the keys to the control room, the generator room, and a radio. He asks if there's any volunteers to fight you guys, so a bunch start excitedly raising their hands.

Suhail makes his picks and hands three of the crew members the keys and radios, along with some Hawaiian shirts and sunglasses he grabbed from some shop as a present. One crew member he talks to is stoked as hell about getting a present from him and swears to do his best. Another has his mind blown at the tourist clothes and says he feels he can do anything for Suhail. A third fantasizes out loud about riding the merry-go-round with Suhail in those clothes and asks if he's dreaming.

Akashi is baffled at how serious the pirates are, but he turns to you and says you guys need to take back control of the ship from them and catch Suhail. Hitomi agrees, saying that with the ship diving now there's no telling how long you guys have until it hits the bottom of the sea. It's best you guys hurry up before you lose out on a way to get back. You nod back in response to them.

Suhail laughs and tells you guys there's no need to panic. You guys should probably see whether you qualify for his special mission to begin with, so he orders his crew to get out there and offers a special bonus for whoever manages to catch you guys. Suhail cuts off his video call at that point, and mobs start pouring out from the nearby shrubbery. Pubraseer is excited to see them and says he'll join in on the fun, but Hitomi tells him he can't and tells everyone to be careful since the pirates are after you.

Some of the mobs address you and Akashi by name saying you guys once fought together on the same side, but today things are different because Suhail says so, so now they have to grab you. Plus, Suhail is putting up a special bonus *~with his love~* so them's the breaks! Akashi is baffled as he accuses the mobs of just wanting the bonus, calling them easy to read before asking you to transform him and hurry things along. Hitomi asks that you transform her too so you guys can retake the resort, so you comply and hit the button.

Once you have Akashi and Hitomi suited up, Pubraseer is amazed at this hero thingy and says it's his first time seeing it happen. Akashi is shocked at how casual he is and reminds him that this is a bad spot you guys are in right now. You take out a livestream camera out of habit before remembering it doesn't work right now, and Hitomi says you guys won't be able to use any ultimate attacks without enough views. Still, she suggests that you guys manage somehow with what Views you guys do have.

Akashi agrees, and he's pleasantly surprised to find out he can still summon his bat at least when he tries. He turns to you and says Sui told him that the suits won't show their normal power levels without enough views. It'll be rough if the battle drags out, so he asks you to be careful as you operate the team. The mobs have been politely waiting for you guys to finish talking though they're still preoccupied with The Bonus, and they say they'll attack first if you guys aren't going to. Akashi tells them to stop thinking about that already and prompts you to get ready. He'd rather not get shanghaied into a pirate gang, thanks. Hitomi asks Pubraseer to stick next to you and take care not to get hurt. He thanks her for the suggestion and moves to do so, and Akashi tells you and Hitomi to focus. Hitomi declares you guys are heroes and will protect the peace of the resort, and you declare the battle's start. The episode battle then begins as Pubraseer casually wishes you all good luck.

Live A Hero Summer Dive Amusement Episode 1

One day over at Parallel Flight's office, the door bell rings. Mokdai goes to answer it and is surprised to find Sui there, and Sui in turn is surprised he answered so quickly after one ring because she guessed he wouldn't have noticed if she texted him. She apologizes for the not texting part, and Mokdai is shocked to wonder how unreliable she thinks of him and insists he can do work right too. He's in the middle of planning a show for the summer festival and editing a PR video, so Sui laughs and says she's joking and thanks him for his work and opening the door. Sui says she came straight from work so she didn't have a card key, then greets you upon noticing you.

You greet Sui back and ask what business she has today, so Sui tells you Maculata asked her to go over to Hisaki's today. She found Crowne over there went she reached his factory, and they asked her to give you something. Sui pulls out a wrapped package out of her bag and hands it over, and you wonder what Hisaki and Crowne would give you before having an idea.

When you open up the package, you find a long list of scribbled notes and a small box. Mokdai looks over curiously, and the box itself turns out to have a ring-shaped pendant strung up on a simple chain. The ring is relatively thick and has a shining blue line going around it. Mokdai comments on how pretty it is and compares the blue light to light filtering through the sea. Sui explains that Maculata designed the thing, though she has thought it was weird of her to design an accessory. She also wonders why Crowne and Hisaki were involved and thought it was weird of them to be together.

You say that explaining it would take a while, but it's something the three of them are collaborating on for hero transformation related stuff. Mokdai starts looking doubtful as he eyes the ring, and you look over the memo Crowne and Hisaki included. You summarize that it seems to be a transformation experiment where you have someone wear it while transforming and seeing what changes happen. Sui asks if that means that there's going to be bodily effects, and she's reluctant to be involved though it's not like she's suspicious of Hisaki and Crowne.

You nod at this and turn to Mokdai. He's shocked at the implied question and avoids the subject by saying he has a video to get back to editing. By the time he gets back to his seat, the door opens again as Huckle and Akashi walk in. Akashi greets Sui and Mokdai upon seeing them, and he says he had some time since baseball practice was over so he decided to visit. He came across Huckle along the way, and Huckle greets Sui and asks if she came because of work Maculata sent her on. Sui confirms, though she says it was more an errand than anything. She's done with that now.

You decide to ask Akashi to put on the necklace without telling him there's anything more to it. Akashi sputters in surprise as he asks if it's a present, blushing as he says it's not actually his birthday today. You go vague about it being a present or whatever, and Akashi quickly says he's not actually rejecting it or anything. You were thinking about him when you gave it to him and all! He happily laughs to himself about getting a present from you, and Sui and Mokdai awkwardly look away as Sui comments on how happy Akashi is.

Sui then changes the subject to note that Ryekie isn't around since she didn't hear him yell out a greeting to her. Huckle explains that the office had meetings with two other agencies, so Huckle and Ryekie had split the two between them. He should be back soon, and now that Sui and Akashi are around he asks them to join in for an office meeting. Everyone else stops their own conversations, then get seated around a table.

A bit of time later, Huckle tells you guys that he was given something at the business meeting he went to as he proceeds to pull out some colorful tickets. He explains the agency he was meeting with was working with the construction of a soon to be finished resort spaceship, and now you guys are invited to go. Akashi has heard of this resort ship and excitedly asks if it's that one sightseeing ship that's built to be like an entire tropical resort island as he points at the tickets.

Sui is confused at the idea of a spaceship being made into a resort island, so Akashi explains that it was built based on the concept of a resort ship that can go to any sort of environment. He's heard from a school friend that it can go undersea, fly in the sky, and travel through space. Being able to go to a resort like that with your crush a FRIEND sounds like a dream!

Huckle laughs and says Akashi's well-informed about the ship, then says the ship is the Resort Planet Grand Island built in the middle of Muirauqa IV's redevelopment plans. Unfortunately, Monsters have started appearing towards the end of the ship's completion. The agency he was meeting with has sent their heroes to deal with the problem before it blows up, but the ship's owner has sent out invitations to heroes for the pre-opening in hopes of making things perfect.

Mokdai says the idea sounds good since having heroes attend would make Monster appearances something that can be dealt with while also doubling as a publicity thing. Huckle nods and says you guys were invited too since the things were going around. There's actually not that many opportunities to build better relationships with other hero agencies, and Huckle asks if everyone can go. Mokdai says he can go and starts thinking about all the food that'll be at the resort. Sui says she can go too, saying Maculata has told her to actively take part in hero work. You either say you can go, excitedly yell about a resort, or gasp about going to a resort with Huckle. C gets an extra line of Huckle being amused by how big your smile is. This is technically a work thing, so he figures he should organize an actual office party trip.

Anyways, Huckle turns to Akashi and asks if he can go too, since he'd prefer to have all the new heroes in the office come along for introductions. Akashi says he can go since school and baseball practice is slowing down at the moment, so he can go when there's some time open during his workout schedule. Huckle thanks everyone for agreeing to go, and since there's no urgent business at the moment he'll go ahead and RSVP the trip. He'll tell Ryekie about it when he gets back, and while this is again a work thing, he suggests that everyone have fun together and relax after going around and talking with the other agencies. Everyone brightens up at the suggestion and starts getting ready.

Title card pops up, and this episode is called Summer! The Beach! The Resort!

Narration then briefly talks about Muirauqa IV. It is a planet that is covered by water by 90%, so the people tend to live on giant ships. And once the agency travels all the way across the galaxy to reach there, brilliant scenery greets everyone. Mokdai is amazed at how the resort ship looks as he talks to you. There's the standard beautiful white sands and blue seas, and of course Mokdai notices the restaurant area further ahead. Sui is surprised as she says she can see a Ferris wheel, merry go round, and water slide in the distance. Welcome to the supergiant resort complex passenger ship, Resort Planet Grand Island! The giant deck is big enough to be called an artificial island on its own, and the bright beach and shining waves spread out upon it.

Akashi is embarrassed as he tells you to stop pushing him, but you prod him forward over his protests and call out to everyone else apologizing for the wait since you two had to change into swimsuits. Akashi comments that he feels a little embarrassed now that he's somewhere else, and he asks if he looks weird. Mokdai says the two of you look great, and he wishes he was called over to change into a swimsuit too. And based on a look around, about half the people present are in swimsuits, so Akashi should be fine. Now Mokdai really wishes he changed out too. Sui says it should be fine and says Akashi looks good in his swimsuit.

Akashi is surprised that Sui can give a straight compliment, confusing Sui as she says she's still a professional when it comes to clothes. Mokdai then decides to point out that Akashi has tanned like hell, which is drawing his attention more than his swimsuit. Akashi admits that he's been so excited about going to a resort that he couldn't focus on working out, so he spent all that time outside practicing his bat swings instead. Sui then suggests that he's getting too excited about going to a resort.

Ryekie laughs about everyone having fun and saying it's nice to have jobs like this once in a while. He also talks about how Mokdai's gotten better at driving a space car, which was a huge help. Mokdai thanks him, saying he's been practicing since last week at it. He's recently had a chance to watch a space taxi driver work from up close, so he's been referencing their driving. He also had Huckle's instructions and the manual Crowne gave him too.

Huckle talks about how Crowne tuned up the space ship's autopilot and nearby functions, then thanks Mokdai for driving. It's important to be able to follow directions especially since driving has lives involved. It's much better than leaving the driving to a certain someone who would think to shoot up a stalling engine with an electrical blast like a maniac. Sui is concerned about that example and says someone like that shouldn't be able to get a license. You either stay quiet, wonder sarcastically what S Class Hero Huckle could be talking about, or needle Ryekie about how frightening that idea would be.

Ryekie is taken aback at the look you're giving him and denies the idea that he's always causing the engine to stall out. But now that this is a matter of his personal honor, he starts volunteering to drive the car on the return trip. Huckle immediately shoots the idea down, partly because Ryekie's driving is rough but also because he's still not fully recovered at this point in time, so it's not good for him to sit for long periods of time to drive. It's unfortunate that Huckle's own license has expired, but that means Huckle has to ask Mokdai to drive when it's time to go home as he gives him the car keys.

Ryekie is disappointed by this, but he resolves to do what he can. First order of business is to take care of work, then it's rewarding the younger team members who have been working hard every day. He then turns to you and declares there's going to be a night party after work is over, and you either say it's a great idea, try to remind him that this is still a work thing, or say you want to go drinking with Ryekie. B gets an extra line of Ryekie saying he knows, but it won't be a problem after work hours. C gets different extra lines of Ryekie being flattered and saying he's been wanting to drink with you too.

Huckle chides Ryekie to focus since they're going to see the ship owner soon. They went as far as to arrange rooms for you guys, so he has to be sure he doesn't act rudely. Ryekie says he knows and isn't someone pretending to know how to do office work. Huckle isn't too confident about this, but he accepts it. He remembers at this point to tell everyone that they're supposed to take part in the opening ceremony later, but there's free time until then. Everyone may as well enjoy the resort, but he reminds everyone to keep track of the time so you can be at the meeting place when needed. You can see the whole ship area from there. Also, Huckle offers to treat everyone to dinner tonight.

The party starts oohing excitedly starting with Akashi, who says it's sad Crowne wasn't able to join you guys. Huckle says he'd have liked it if Crowne could come too, but her spacecraft workshop place gets slammed with jobs in the summer from people with travel plans. He has sent her something to relax with to make up for it, but he suggests having enough fun in her place. Huckle then prompts Ryekie to come see the owner with him, which Ryekie assents to and says they're past that suspension bridge nearby.

Before they go, Huckle asks if Ryekie remembers what he's supposed to regarding what he shouldn't do at the social meal with the owner. Ryekie says he does and motions for Huckle to hit him with the questions. When Huckle does so, Ryekie quickly answers that he shouldn't drink any alcohol, shouldn't eat any kiwis, and he shouldn't speak too loudly. The party is baffled (and dismayed in Sui's case) since Ryekie was getting progressively louder in his answers, and Huckle seems worried before shrugging it off as good enough. Ryekie then excuses the two of them as they wave to you guys before leaving.

Sui suggests that you guys start looking around then, asking Mokdai if there's anywhere he wants to go since he's holding a pamphlet. Mokdai looks it over and says the ship is divided roughly into the hotel area, amusement park, restaurant area, pool, and beauty salon. There's also a spa and sauna, experiential leisure activities, a beach path, and a souvenir corner, boggling Mokdai with the sheer amount of choices. He does however say he wants to go get some pancakes from a southern country food stall though, and he asks you for your opinion. You say you can't decide from all that, say you're fine going anywhere with Mokdai, or ask Sui what she wants to do. B has Mokdai blush and say he should have researched the place more, then asks you to wait. C has Sui blushing and surprised at the question and suggest the Ferris wheel since she doesn't know much.

As the group converses and walks along, you end up bumping into someone. This turns out to be Hydoor, who complains about you not watching where you're going as he glares at you. Akashi asks if you're okay, then objects to Hydoor being so aggressive with you. Since Hydoor bumped into you too, Akashi says he has to apologize as well. Sui does concede that you guys shouldn't have been walking in a line like you all did, but she says Hydoor should spare some concern for you guys too. Hydoor however gets pissy, and Mokdai attempts to talk Akashi and Sui into calming down. You say you're fine, ask Hydoor if he's hurt, or immediately swoon and call Hydoor cool. In A, Akashi is annoyed but says he isn't looking for a fight and will back down if you say so. Hydoor is surprised that he's the only one treated as the bad guy and says he's not actually looking for a fight either. In B, is surprised you're concerned for him first instead of yourself, then says you've got guts. In C, Hydoor is shocked and blushes as he interprets this as you making fun of him.

Hydoor clicks his tongue and gives up a bit. He rechecks your name, then asks if you're okay before demanding that you not hide it if you're not. You quickly say you're fine or be kind of surprised he's worrying about you. B gets an extra line of Hydoor say he's just checking and isn't going to accept any complaints if you say anything about it later on. But anyways, if you are fine then he'll just call things even since nobody got hurt. It's a huge pain in the ass that he got dragged along to this place since it's been a while since he came back to his home planet here.

Hydoor sighs, and Sui starts talking to Hydoor having recognized him from somewhere. She asks about him being a sports swimsuit model, and Hydoor is surprised she knows about him. He says he's there to do some PR and made to wear something he thinks is weird, and remembering it all just irritates him. Not like you guys can do anything about it though, and Hydoor tells you to watch where you're going next time before stomping off.

Mokdai comments on how intense Hydoor was, though he also notes that he wasn't actually a bad guy. Akashi sighs about Hydoor being a jerk, then asks if you're really okay. Sui says she's never really sure how people who are aggressive like him are going to act, and Mokdai tries to take their mind off of what happened by suggesting you guys have fun at the resort. Akashi agrees with the point after some thought, and so the group walks along again.

Soon after you guys notice a small crowd forming, so Akashi suggests checking it out. He notes that it looks like there's some sort of TV production crew there, and it turns out Hitomi is there doing some sort of tour program of the resort. She describes the place as charming and recommends that people come by on their vacation, then ends the segment. Sui recognizes Hitomi and says her swimsuit + parka outfit combination looks great. Akashi is amazed at how well Hitomi is holding up with all the attention focused on her since just watching her in that situation is making him nervous. He feels he should take a page out of her book and be like her that way.

Hitomi thanks the cameramen and goes to excuse herself, then quickly notices you guys around. She runs up to you guys, so you either greet her casually or more politely. Either way she greets you back and notes that you're all together. Sui says it's novel meeting her outside the workplace and asks if Hitomi was doing some filming. Hitomi says she was and that she just finished up a tour of the resort, so now she has some time until the opening ceremony. She asks if you guys have looked around yet and says the food and entertainment options are amazing.

Mokdai answers that you guys only just got there and were looking around until it's time for the ceremony. Hitomi asks to come along with you guys and offers to guide you guys around. And since you guys haven't visited the food court restaurants yet, she recommends that pancake thing Mokdai showed an interest in earlier. Very fluffy, and the tropical sauce with it is delicious. Mokdai is excited to hear that and says looking at the picture made him hungry. Sui reminds him that there's a buffet party happening after the ceremony, so he shouldn't eat too much. You agree with the idea of checking the restaurants out since you're hungry too, then excitedly say it's time to go. Hitomi then takes the lead to show you guys the way.

Some time later, Mokdai is singing praises about the pancake and sauce, describing the latter as rich and sweet. Akashi is enjoying some soft serve ice cream he has and asks if you want a taste. Hitomi suggests splitting some rainbow shaved ice with Sui since it's too much for her on her own. Sui agrees to the idea and wonders what sort of flavor it is.

When the group walks by the amusement park area, Hitomi says you have to have a swimsuit to get in, so she suggests coming back later after everyone changes. Sui takes note of the water slide and merry-go-round, along with something called a Splash Horror. Akashi is amazed at how stupidly long the slide is, which includes a tunnel and a section with a transparent bottom. That last bit freaks him out a bit. Mokdai wonders if the Splash Horror thing is some sort of haunted mansion attraction and says the pamphlet says the thing is meant for adults.

The next area you guys visit is the souvenir corner, and Sui says she wants to get Crowne something from there before you guys go home. Mokdai suggests getting the resort specialty cookies since those seem to be popular. Akashi suspects Mokdai wants them for himself and reminds him it's supposed to be a present for Crowne. Hitomi laughs and says the idea of giving something you'd be happy to get yourself as a present is a lovely idea.

Eventually the group notices that people are starting to move around, so Mokdai says it must be time for the ceremony soon. He suggests going too and remembers it's supposed to be at the island you can see everything in the ship from. Hitomi says she had fun going with you guys and that the time went by so quickly. She starts leading you guys over, but along the way Sui stops when she hears some weird groaning.

Sui asks if anyone else can hear the groaning, and Akashi is creeped out for a second before he says he can hear it too. Hitomi worries that someone may have fallen over and gotten hurt, so she suggests looking for whoever it is. Everyone approaches the greenery by the roads with some alarm, and you guys soon find a canine looking cleaning crew member crouching and breathing in pain.

Mokdai calls over to the guy and tries to ask about his condition, and the guy you found, Pubraseer, says he's okay aside from sudden stomach pains. Akashi says he doesn't actually look okay and says he needs to go to the medic's office. A speaker above you guys goes off as an announcement is made about the opening ceremony starting in ten minutes. It'll be held outside the ship, and if anyone is unclear about anything they should ask a nearby staff member.

Mokdai worries about the ceremony starting soon and says he has to call Huckle. Akashi says you guys can't all be late, so he suggests splitting up. Specifically, he asks Mokdai and Sui to go on ahead while he takes Pubraseer to the medic and explain why he'll be late. Sui asks if Akashi will be alright on his own since Pubraseer seems incapable of standing on his own right now, so you volunteer to help Akashi with escorting Pubraseer.

Both of you get to either side of him and put his arms around your shoulders, then raise him up. Akashi apologizes for taking your time, then asks Hitomi to go with the others. Hitomi however says she'll go with you guys since she was told where the medic's office was during her tour filming. She tells Sui and Mokdai to go straight ahead, and the ceremony area is right by the wharf. Mokdai thanks Hitomi for the directions, then asks you to call them when you're done. You, Hitomi, and Akashi split off, and Sui and Mokdai watch you guys go before moving on. And later once the ceremony starts up, the ship is quietly detached from the pier as the episode ends.

Summer River Adventure Episode 3 Part 2

After Thunderbird comes back from scouting, he leads the party out of the mountain area. The boats are moored for the time being, and so everyone sits down for a rest. Arachne starts talking about how the place is totally Olympus, and while she's aware it's an overworld shift there's still a bunch of stuff around that reminds her of the past. Thunderbird says there's a cliff valley with a big river up ahead and asks Magami if he can still pinpoint your target destination, so Magami confirms and says you guys should just continue downstream. Jugo notes that the shift may change again if time passes, so he tells everyone to be careful so nobody gets hurt. And off to the side, Tajikarao is thinking hard to himself. You either tell Magami the party is relying on him, say you're worried for Arachne since she doesn't look happy, or tell Tajikarao he looks pale.

In A, Magami says he'll take responsibility for getting everyone home safely. Arachne says it's nice he's confident, but she's worried about something. In B, Arachne thanks you for your kindness and says she loves that about you. She apologizes for worrying you, then says she's worried about something. In C, Tajikarao is shocked at that being brought up, and he attempts to deny it by saying he's just worried about people getting hurt in a disaster. If something does happen he's worried something later in the summer will be affected, but then he attempts to backtrack and claim it's nothing. Arachne asks him to stop tempting fate, then says she's worried about something.

Shiva finds it interesting that Arachne can be worried about something while in his presence, so he prompts her to say what it is. Arachne says she's from Olympus, and she mentions there being lots of stories about rivers with an 'interesting' history in the area. One of which is the River of Oblivion (Lethe) that washes away your memories if you drink its waters, and another is the River of Fire (Phlegethon) that continues to seethe as it flows into a domain of flames. These are each river tributaries that go into one big underground river, and the main one is supposed to flow to the realm of the dead.

Thunderbird comments on how dangerous they sound and asks if Arachne can figure out which river the ones you guys are traveling along is. Arachne apologizes and says she doesn't know. Since Olympus and Tokyo have been overlaid, she can't tell which one it is on sight right now. You worry about what would happen if you guys fall into the water, worry about where you guys are heading to, or be concerned about the River of Oblivion idea.

Tajikarao is embarrassed about his slip up, but he chooses to answer since he's been asked. So anyways when he was asked to be Magami's partner, the police chief said he'd appoint him to be the one in charge from Kioh Policy Academy for the upcoming festival when this job with Magami finishes up. Tajikarao thinks of being the one in charge as the organizer who gets to decide what the festival performance and dress code is like according to their tastes, and he says it's a promised reward for him. He's stoked about this, but he also doesn't want his cute kouhai thinking that's why he's doing all this.

Jugo says he understands, but he points out that Tajikarao is essentially working to get more work piled onto him, which he feels most people wouldn't be happy about. Magami is surprised but assures he doesn't think any less of Tajikarao for his motivations. He laughs as he says he's also been promised a reward from the school headmaster Daikoku. It's still only a rumor, but apparently he's heard that really good police dog students get belly rubs from him (which he apparently does with his feet?). He has a terrible memory, so having the headmaster personally give him belly rubs thrills him to bits, and he sighs about wanting that. You either are happy for him and hope he gets it, imitate Arachne's speech pattern again to say the same thing while taken aback, or think to yourself that you're getting a chill down your back. A and B get an extra line of Magami barking and laughing to himself.

Anyways, Arachne comments that the adventure is starting to get weird, but she politely tries telling herself that hidden things can be beautiful too. Jugo also feels something is strange and comments on the police guys being similar. Shiva disapproves of the idea of wanting rewards for finishing training, but he decides it's not really his business. He then declares it's been enough of a break and that you guys should go when he notices Tajikarao has slipped off at some point and asks about him. Magami says he had business to do and stepped away by himself. Arachne is curious and wonders if it would be wrong to interrupt him, but Thunderbird says it's true you guys can't dawdle around much, so he volunteers to get him. You volunteer to go too, so Thunderbird accepts this and says everyone else should get ready to go.

Time passes to the part where you two find Tajikarao is making a voice log on his phone about reaching a place similar to Olympus and continuing to supervisor his charge. Since he can't make phone contact at his regular check in time, he has to this as per his regulations. Once he's done with that he sighs about how the log might get erased if things get reverted, but rules are rules. He also worries to himself about his food budget getting stretched thin next month, at which point you talk to Tajikarao thanking him for his work, ask if he's making a report, or ask if he's hiding something else.

Tajikarao freaks out at the sudden surprise, but he does admit that it's a report for his assignment. He may have jumped out into this incident, but he was still in the middle of training Magami at the time. He sighs about Magami being so inquisitive that he doesn't listen to his orders. You note that he's had it rough, call him strict, or ask if his orders are absolute.

Tajikarao says that since the police is built as an organization, the orders from your superiors are absolute. In his case, that would be Hougen and Daikoku. In Magami's case, it would be his handlers. Under normal circumstances, he'd have physically forced Magami back to their original work, and you ask if he couldn't or won't do so. Tajikaro admits as much, explaining that Magami is still new to the police dog course. Drilling the basics of obedience is something he'll need to live as part of the police, and that's something Tajikarao needs to teach him as his senpai. He couldn't bring himself to deny Magami though when he was so insistent, so he's acting as not a supervisor-type. That's why he wants to see this to the end, and once it's over he'll start lecturing Magami. And once he's repented for it, they'll go to the festival together!

Tajikarao asks that you guys keep this a secret from Magami, so you say you think it's good, say Tajikarao is acting like a good senpai, or think on the idea of hiding things for other people's sakes. Tajikarao says he's learned a lot spending time with you and other people, like hiding things for other people can be good. That said, he can't really change his basic desire to get everything out in the open though, and he laughs about it being a worry of his. But enough of that for now, and he suggests regrouping with the party.

Once the party is all together again, Thunderbird suggests heading out again for the other side of the river valley, where you guys will figure out where to go from there. Depending on how things go, it's possible that things will get more dangerous. Everyone else nods and starts heading for the boats, but the party is surprised to see wyverns in the sky soon after. Shiva recognizes them as the ones that showed up earlier, and Jugo points out that they have something else with them.

Arachne is shocked to see that the wyverns are carrying off your boats. The mobster mobs riding the wyverns laugh about also getting the relic bag that was in the boats at the same time. A dust cloud getting kicked up causes Arachne to yelp before asking if everyone is okay, and Thunderbird is mad about the bag being taken. Mushussu is the one to hold the bag as he begins to fly off while you guys are covering your eyes, and the mobs tell you you won't be able to chase them because they cut the bridge up ahead. They taunt you one more time before declaring their mission to be as good as done, and you yell at them as you run through the forest while they fly away.

Tajikarao yells about how impudent the mobsters are, and Thunderbird suggests that he go alone since he can fly. Shiva rejects the idea and points out that the mobsters should be expecting that, so they must have a trap set up for the possibility. Magami says that the thieves stole your boats too, and Jugo says it's impossible to catch them if they cut the bridge down. You guys soon come across an open view of the valley to illustrate the point, so you either ask Arachne about whether her strings can reach that far, ask Shiva if he can just jump to the other side, or suggest flying together with Thunderbird. In A, Arachne says she's normally confident, but she feels the idea is too risky. Thunderbird then gets an idea from the concept of shooting strings. In B, Shiva says it IS possible for him to carry you guys over like that, but he doesn't promise the speed and landing impact won't gib you guys for trying it. Thunderbird then gets an idea about speeding up. In C, Thunderbird thanks you for the suggestion but feels the thieves will get away in the time he carries you over. But then the idea of flying together gives him a different idea.

Thunderbird thinks for a moment before pulling some tool out of his bags. This turns out to be a grappling hook or something similar, and he asks every to step away from him for safety's sake. He fires it to the opposite side of the shore, stringing a wire across the river. Tajikarao is impressed and thinks it's cool, though he does ask why Thunderbird is carrying that around. Thunderbird just says heroes carry a lot of things for preparation, though he normally doesn't use it because of how dangerous it is. Once he confirms the wire is set, he asks if you guys know what a zip line is. You either say you don't, say you've figured it out mostly from the name, or say you've been on one once. C gets an extra line of Thunderbird laughing about how active you are, though he says he'll explain anyways just in case.

Anyways, Thunderbird tells everyone to attach the lifeline to the harness on their life jackets and slide over to the other side. Jugo is alarmed at this idea, so Shiva tells him to watch him do it first. Shiva then proceeds to not bother with the lifeline, jump on top of the wire, then flip himself around halfway through around the wire and crosses to the other end. You either protest against doing anything dangerous, comment on how into things Shiva is, or decide you should do the same thing too. C gets an extra line of Arachne freaking out and telling you to stop since that'll make her lifespan shrink quicker than wool.

Magami barks that he'll go next, saying he can't stay if criminals are present. Tajikarao points out that Magami is wagging his tail really hard and says he just wants to go on the zipline too. Magami then runs on ahead, then zips over with a howl. Tajikarao sighs about how reckless Magami is and says he'll go next, but finds the zipline surprisingly scary once he's actually on before sliding over. Arachne goes next, saying her curiosity is piqued and shouldn't waste a second. That leaves just you and Jugo, who is surprised everyone's already gone.

You note that Jugo is looking pale in the face and ask if he's scared, saying he doesn't have to force himself to do this. Jugo claims he's not scared at all since he's strong, but he drops his voice to a whisper to you as he admits to you that Mizuchi's curse is in his body. The curse affects him and especially 'long things.' Whenever he's mentally shaken, Mizuchi and the others slip through the cracks to go on a rampage like back with the river standing up. He worries about something happening if he gets on the wire.

You thank Jugo for opening up to you, then suggest zipping over together if it'll make him feel better. Jugo is shocked at the idea and attempts to argue, saying Mizuchi's curse will hit you if you touch him. He then starts thinking about how the curse actually stopped when you got near him earlier, and you decide to just grab his hand and go. Jugo protests some more, and Thunderbird accepts the idea of you two going together. He warns you two to not let go until you get to the other side as he hooks you both to the zipline, and you both stand on the cliff edge. Jugo gives up at this point and tells Orochi not to cause any problems before telling you to watch how cool he can be. You agree, tell him to not let go, or tell him not to cry in fear, so he psyches up and goes for it.

Jugo yells dully as he hugs you close on the way over. Up ahead, Shiva is standing in the way as Arachne tries to tell him to move, but she ends up slamming into him and knocking him over. One you and Jugo make it safely over, he collapses to his knees in relief, and you either yell about how fun that was, say that was really exciting, or ask Jugo if he really was scared. In A, Jugo sighs then says you're really strong, then says he needs to train more. In B, Jugo is kind of surprised at your reaction, then eventually says he was too. In C, Jugo claims he's just relieved his curse didn't do anything, then says he's always anxious around you.

Jugo thinks to himself about how the Mizuchi quiet down when he's near you, but he's actually sad about this since it means it's not because of anything he's doing. He still feels some sort of heat in his chest when he's near you though, so he wonders who you really are. Thunderbird says he gets why you guys would want to catch your breath, but there's no time since you guys need to chase after the thieves. He glides on over, and up ahead in the sky there are wyverns waiting to ambush him.

Tajikarao tells the thieves they've been found and orders Magami to go. Magami charges in obediently, and the mobsters are shocked you guys made it over before ordering the wyverns to kick you guys down into the valley. You tell them you can't let them do that in either your own neutral speech style, Arachne's, or Tajikarao's. In A, Thunderbird asks if you have the courage to ride in the sky with him, then declares the two of you the airborne heroes. In B, Arachne declares the place to be her runway stage, then says the two of you should get started. In C, Tajikarao is pleased and says you're reassuring reinforcements before telling the thieves it's time to be arrested. And in any case, the episode battle begins. More happens after that.

After the battle, things tune in to the part midway where Arachne tells them she'll tailor up for them and show them the charm of her Beach Fashionista Collection. She throws out her special threads to tie up two wyverns together in midair, causing them to crash and fall. One of the mobsters is aghast at this and calls for Mashed Potatoes to come, but Mushussu happens to be distracted eating out their supply of magic kemi dango. The mobster freaks out at this since losing all the dango will cut off their control of the wyverns, and you attack at this moment to insist that Mashy's name is really Musshusu, knocking the relic bag out of his hands.

Tajikarao reaches for the bag now that it's away from the thieves, so the green mobster gets mad and tries to tackle him away from it. Tajikarao is kind of surprised at how hard the tackle hit and compares it to a fight with another mikoshi carrying team, so he pushes back as hard as he can. While this is going on, the effects of the dango wear out on the wyverns, who start squawking all at once.

Thunderbird notes that the thieves have been apprehended, but the wyverns are acting strangely. Magami says they're all confused and don't understand what's happening anymore. Shiva notes that they're lashing out indiscriminately and asks if this is what happens when their forced obedience stops. Jugo tells everyone to be careful as beasts acting on instinct and no reason are strong.

Wyverns swoop around and ram into Magami, and Tajikarao calls after him asking if he's okay. Magami reports that the wyverns don't understand the situation and are just attacking out of self-defense. He says they'll start attacking each other at this rate when another of them hits him. Tajikarao orders him to run, but the party is shocked when he and Magami are knocked over the cliff by a wyvern falling over along with the mobsters.

Tajikarao holds his wits together long enough to grab Magami and throw him back up, telling him he's trusting him with the relics and will always protect him as his senpai. Anything else he says gets cut off by the winds blowing through the valley, and you and Magami call after him in alarm. On that note, the episode ends.

Summer River Adventure Episode 3 Part 1

Last time, our simple and honest judo boy's heart was suddenly shaken and raced, at which point a cursed power started becoming released! The river began to writhe and turn into a stream of mud with the rampaging power of the Orochi, which then called the servants of dragons into a flock in the sky! The relics you all sought to return were stolen by thieves, so you all worked to take them back, but then the cursed Orochi river began to raise its head and carry you all with it! And the one to save the party leader, as in you, was a mysterious masked hero!

Title card pops up, and this episode is called The Terror of the River of Oblivion Flowing into the Bounded Valley!

Now back to the story at hand, Shiva notes that the mobs have fled because they felt they couldn't win. It was only the river becoming animate and standing up, the pathetic whelps. Arachne says that for all that's happened, she feels it's natural that they decided to run. Sure it was a supernatural phenomenon, but you guys were in danger as well. Tajikarao starts to comment to the effect of recognizing the Orochi, but you turn to him in curiosity and wonder why he's looking at you funny.

Tajikarao quickly claims it's nothing and tries to laugh it off, and Thunderbird says that what happened was unusual for him too. It did get him to hurry up and reach you guys though. He then asks how Jugo is doing, saying he's heard it was his power that caused what just happened. Jugo makes a point of clarifying that it wasn't his power, so Thunderbird apologizes for the misunderstanding since he came in partway through. Jugo apologizes for his own rudeness and thanks Thunderbird for his help. He also wants to apologize to the rest of the party for exposing everyone to danger. Shiva scoffs that he wasn't in danger and says Jugo's apologies are misplaced.

You either say you're used to trouble, say you're in the same boat as Jugo, or call Shiva cool and kind. B gets some extra lines of Jugo being touched, then saying you're strong and hoping to be like that too someday. C instead has Shiva blushing and claiming he's just being honest. If you're with him, there's no pain and suffering you cannot overcome. He then attempts to push you away from grabbing onto him and yelling about clearing away desires.

Anyways, Arachne says that the rest of them are okay, so Jugo doesn't need to be too concerned with them. Plus, adventures come with a certain amount of danger. And while they're on the subject, Arachne asks if it's okay to ask about what that thing Jugo is connected to really is. Jugo isn't happy about the subject but seems willing to tell you guys, at which point Tajikarao immediately cuts in, saying there's no need to talk about it and that everyone has one or two things they keep hidden.

Arachne is disconcerted and notes that Tajikarao is acting suspiciously before asking if he's okay. Tajikarao dodges the question by quickly telling Jugo that he doesn't have to talk about anything he doesn't want to. Jugo is surprised by this, and Arachne gives up as she concedes that point. She's still open to being asked about it though.

Tajikarao changes the subject, at which point Magami talks about how you guys have recovered the Ancient Wolf skull and thanks everyone for their help in getting it back. Tajikarao says that everyone in the party is in agreement at returning the relics back, so he as both a senpai and dog handler is thankful to you all. You say everything's okay for now and admit you are curious about Jugo's situation, but then everyone has their own circumstances to deal with.

Jugo thanks everyone after a moment, and Shiva suggests that there won't be any danger if things are done the way he does things. Jugo is shocked at Shiva saying everyone should act like him, but then starts talking himself into thinking he ought to be able to do that. Thunderbird says that aiming high is nice, but going too high will isolate you. It's better to keep your concerns in mind and find your own path.

Arachne thanks Thunderbird for helping you guys and is about to say something else, which Thunderbird presumes is a question as to why a hero like him is there. He explains that he had certain reasons to be investigating the area, then came across an emergency he couldn't ignore. Tajikarao asks if he's talking about the relic thieves, which Thunderbird confirms. He had chased after the thieves, then heard they were chasing after a boat that left the campgrounds upstream. He sensed danger in this, then came to check even if it was meddling.

Arachne is surprised at the story and asks if the bit at the end referred to you guys. He then asks Thunderbird if there was some sort of trouble or something, which has Magami quietly paying close attention. Thunderbird says seeing would be quicker than explaining. From his own investigations the nearby area ahead is still safe, so he asks if you guys will believe in him and follow along. You either decide to suggest going with him after a moment, wonder what's up ahead, or excitedly thank Thunderbird for his help. Thunderbird agrees, then says it's helpful that things are going so quickly before leading everyone forward.

Further ahead, the party is shocked when they move past the forest by the river to see the area has completely changed. Arachne says the view is vaguely nostalgic but definitely her home world of Olympus. Thunderbird says that after the animate river thing, the area changed. Nothing unusual for an unstable overworld shift really. Sometimes they strand people who come by to sightsee and play around in it, but in the end it's just an overlay of places that look similar.

Tajikarao talks about how even the police school does classes on searching for missing victims since the people coming in to look for them shouldn't be added to the damage list too. That's what police dogs are here for! Even if the area changes, scent trails will still persist. He then turns to Magami and points him out being the (planned) pride of the school's police dogs. Magami however is focused on something else, surprising Tajikarao into saying this is where he was supposed to psych himself up. Jugo notes that Magami's been quiet for a while now and asks if he's feeling sick. Magami says he's had something on his mind for a while now, and Thunderbird notices he's been staring at him and asks why. Magami then loudly declares him to be suspicious.

Thunderbird is shocked at the accusation and attempts to laugh it off as a joke. Magami lists off a bunch of observations like Thunderbird hiding his face with goggles, calling himself a hero, being rather well-informed of the situation, and following the party as all evidence pointing to Thunderbird being suspicious. He then says he'll take him to the station for questioning. Thunderbird pleads with him, saying that just because he's correct doesn't mean he's right the above points are true, but he's totally not anyone suspicious. You attempt to say it's not good to doubt people so quickly, point out that Thunderbird helped you earlier, or agree with Magami that Thunderbird is sus. A and B has Thunderbird thank you for your support, saying it's the best thing for heroes since they have to fight alone. In C, Thunderbird just says heroes have their own things to deal with, and he plans on answering things honestly as a trade-off for hiding his identity.

Magami starts getting up in Thunderbird's face and growling at him, so Tajikarao tells him to stay, though he does understand his thoughts. Jugo agrees, and points out if we're talking about people hiding their faces, Shiva's been standing there the whole time. Shiva is shocked at suddenly being suggested to be suspicious.

You get frustrated at how chaotic things are getting, wonder where Arachne got off to, or notice that Arachne's been banging her head and looking off into the distance. Arachne apologizes saying she was reminded of old traumas all of a sudden while looking at the scenery. She then pushes the thoughts aside and says that it's true that Thunderbird saved you, and him hiding stuff just makes things better. And either way, she asks Thunderbird for his name since she'd like to know who helped you guys.

Thunderbird thinks a moment and says you guys should call him Thunderbird, describing himself as someone who always sides with the oppressed. You either ask if you guys met before, say you've heard rumors of people being saved by him, or say it's a cool name. In A, Thunderbird doesn't give a straight answer as he says he's always fighting for the oppressed without people knowing of it. Maybe you guys have just crossed paths somewhere while he was doing that. He then whispers to you and asks you to leave it at that. In B, Thunderbird laughs and wonders what sort of rumors are going around about him. He's not that interested in prestige, aside from his own view of it as protecting the peace and calm of the oppressed. In C, Thunderbird says it has a promise he made to an old friend, so he uses it so he won't forget about it.

Tajikarao says Magami would settle down if he knew Thunderbird's origins, and he can't overlook much more as a senpai. Magami quickly apologizes, so Tajikarao says he gets too wild and says they're training to reel that part of him in. Arachne comments in surprise at how calm Tajikarao is, admitting she thought he'd be going just as crazy as Magami. Tajikarao explains that Thunderbird is also well known by the police and talked about a lot, though he can't give details. Thunderbird politely suggests shelving the topic and asks if that's enough of an introduction on his end. He then asks for you guys to introduce yourselves and asks why you guys are going downstream, so you comply.

After an offscreened explanation, Thunderbird comments on understanding what the thieves are doing now that he knows about the Ancient Wolf skull. He reminds you guys that the overworld shift itself is still unstable going forward, so there's no telling what will happen. Plus, the thieves are still around. He asks if you guys will keep going, which Magami answers affirmatively saying the skull wants that too. He compares this to bringing a lost child back to their home and says it's an absolute rule.

Tajikarao says he's Magami's senpai and handler, so he can't leave him alone. Arachne says she's already here and has a feeling there's more inspiration to be found. Jugo says he's caused problems, but he wants to go along if you guys will let him since he feels he'll get unstuck in his training that way. Shiva sighs and says he'll go because he won't be able to concentrate with all the noise. You say you want to help Magami, say you're curious about the wolf skull, or say you'll see how things go.

Thunderbird accepts everyone's reasonings and says he'll join you guys. Magami is shocked by this, and Tajikarao asks in surprise if he's sure. Thunderbird says protecting the peace is a hero's job and asks to come along, promising to help. You either ask if you guys already have a strong party, be excited at adding a hero to the group, or thank Thunderbird. C gets an extra line of him waving it off and saying he's happy you said so. Either way Magami thanks the suspicious guy for helping, prompting Thunderbird to insist he stop calling him that. Magami then barks and says he understands.

Some time passes as you guys have walked off to wherever, and eventually Arachne says she's getting tired from the heat and asks for a break. Jugo says he's been thinking it's a good time to take a break around now too. Shiva slightly disapproves saying training being painful has meaning, griping a bit about Smoky God and you guys. Still, he grudgingly accepts that pushing oneself too hard would make everything a waste, so he accepts the suggestion of a break as a way to train further.

Jugo sighs at how indirect Shiva is being again, but he agrees. He then asks what you think, so you either say you've been sweating a lot or that you haven't noticed a thing since you've been spacing out. In A, Jugo says he figured as much and tells you not to push yourself too hard. Magami then asks if Jugo has been sweating too and says he can smell it. Jugo quickly tries to deny it and pleads for him to not agitate him too much. In B, Shiva approves saying the mind can make fire seem cool if you empty yourself of thoughts. The subject makes Taikarao ask if Shiva is hot with his mask on, suggesting he'd feel better taking it off. He goes up to touch it and is surprised at how cool to the touch it is, and Shiva is shocked at this invasion of his personal space. His saying it's how he always stays cool makes Tajikaro compare it to an instant water heater.

Arachne sighs about her fatigue catching up to her since she thought you guys would be stopping now. Magami says he's feeling hungry now, so Tajikarao suggests stopping for a break, though he worries about not knowing what the surrounding area is like. Thunderbird volunteers to look for a safe place to rest, asking you guys to wait for his quick return. The episode half then ends as he jumps up and flies off.
