Inugami doesn’t
remember much about its life, partly because it can’t do it well and
partly because it’s busy raising a boy that smells like itself. It does
remember having its last meal taken away, and it remembers its
resentment over this. It swore to chase the one who did it all the way
to hell.
Back to the present, Behemoth is
dancing harder than he has all day, all the while eating sweets to
maintain his sanity. You cheer him on and dance with him, and you can
also offer to treat him to something if he gets slimmer. If you make the
offer he gets excited and asks what it is.
Nomad
says he’ll take charge of coaching, then prompts Behemoth to go faster
as his pace is slowing down. Ryouta slides in too to cheer him on,
saying they should eat together later. Some Evils join in too.
Ibaraki
comments about how he’s joining in with the dance without thinking
about it, and Surtr says nows the time to show your workout. Behemoth
says he’ll do it and yells, and all the mobs that haven’t left the place
yet join in with him.
Some time later,
Suzuka asks why Behemoth hasn’t gotten smaller yet while Ryouta is
sweating from the constant dancing. Ziz wonders about that too as
Behemoth should have used up a lot of energy already, which Shirou
agrees with. You can either say you think so, question whether you guys
are overlooking something, or point out that Behemoth has been eating
sweets.
Going with C if it matters, Ziz,
Shirou, and Ryouta go quiet for a second before Ryouta freaks out about
how Behemoth won’t slim down if he’s eating candy the whole time. Kengo
calls Shirou a dumbass whenever Valentine’s rolls around, which he
doesn’t try to deny. You suggest giving Behemoth non calorie sweets if
putting emotions into them are all that matters.
Shirou
gets a hold of himself and says to tell the cooks to stop making
sweets. Scene shifts over a bit as Tajikarao relays the message, which
surprises Hougen. Back to you guys, Touji comes in with the sweets he’s
already had made when the order came through. Shirou tries to argue
against giving them to Behemoth but can’t figure out a way to resolve
things otherwise. Moritaka says Behemoth is starting to lose himself
again, and you try to push yourself to think of something.
Ryouta
tries to suggest liposuction as a solution. You can either support the
idea, ask how anyone is supposed to stick a pipe into Behemoth, or go
onto some tangent about pipe foxes. Touji reminds you guys that Ziz
already talked about how tough Behemoth is, so Kengo suggests trying to
get the energy out through his mouth. Shirou argues against it as being
dangerous as everything going into Behemoth’s mouth turns into energy.
You
realize something and say not everything gets transformed, then
compliment Kengo for being on the ball today. He doesn’t understand what
you mean, so you talk about how things of sacrifices don’t get
transformed and about immaterial things being eaten. You’re about to say
where you’re going with this when Behemoth tells you guys to run.
Around
that time Behemoth notices a tiny, tiny piece of candy next to his
mouth. Kenta recognizes it as something he made, then whispers he
specifically made it for Inugami. Inugami reacts to this, and Behemoth
takes the candy being there as a sign he can’t give up. Narration talks
about how Behemoth believed there was something wrong with him and that
he was caught up in the idea that he couldn’t change it.
Behemoth
talks about how he’ll eat all the tastiest stuff with everyone here in
Tokyo, then tells Kenta he’ll eat Inugami’s candy so he’ll keep himself
sane. Inugami takes issue with this, and you can either protest it or
tell Behemoth to go ahead and eat it. Behemoth eats the chocolate either
way, and Inugami jumps out of Kenta’s bag to try and take it back.
Behemoth
swallows both the chocolate and Inugami, though he doesn’t really
notice Inugami going into his mouth. Seconds later, light starts
blasting out of his mouth which Ziz recognizes as the energy Behemoth
has collected. Kenta says Inugami is eating, and when he’s eaten a lot
he goes out like that.
Behemoth steadily
shrinks as Inugami eats through the energy inside of him trying to find
that chocolate Kenta made. Eventually Behemoth returns to normal size,
which you say is all according to your calculations and/or say you
didn’t expect it to go so well. Ziz is happy about this, and Behemoth
says he has no idea what just happened before slipping on some
commercial chocolates.
As he falls over,
one of the chocolates flies into his mouth, which he accidentally eats.
Ziz worries that Behemoth will rampage again, but Behemoth eventually
spits out that he can taste it and expresses his amazement thereof. He
tries out a cookie, then tells you guys he can taste that too. He thinks
he’s able to control his artifact now. Ziz is surprised and asks if he
really can taste things from for sale foods.
Behemoth
sneezes out Inugami and Kenta welcomes it back. It barks when he asks
if it had its fill. Ziz brings her hand to her mouth as she realizes
what’s happened, and you ask why things turned it that way. Ziz says she
thinks Behemoth’s power stopped working because Inugami was inside his
body. You can ask her to explain or say you understand.
Ziz
explains it either way, saying Behemoth believed that his artifact has
the power to turn everything to energy. It worked that way since
Behemoth thought it worked like that, and his body was considered the
world that determined how it was perceived. After all, in a world
whatever the majority believes becomes the truth. Once Inugami was
inside him, he wasn’t the majority inside himself anymore. You either
say you understand the mechanics or say that you don’t.
Anyways,
since Inugami ended up interrupting Behemoth’s ability, Behemoth can
taste things now. Shinya is listening to the side and talks to himself
as he hears that about how it relates to the app. Touji also seems to be
following along too. You then point out that Inugami has left Behemoth,
which means Behemoth might relapse to how he was before.
Ziz
says she’s almost sure that won’t happen and tells you to look.
Behemoth is in the middle of tasting some manju and marshmallows, and
Ryouta suggests restarting the snack tour again. You grasp after a
second that it’s because Behemoth is misunderstanding things that he can
keep tasting things.
Ziz says Behemoth
doesn’t realize it’s thanks to Inugami that he can sense taste, so him
still being able to now is because he thinks he can control his
artifact. You ask if this means Behemoth will revert to how he was if he
finds out, and Ziz answers that she thinks that would be highly likely.
Shirou
is relieved things have worked out and asks Behemoth if he’s okay. When
asked what he means Shirou starts talking about Inugami, so you
desperately try to pull him over and cover up that topic. He asks you
what’s wrong in surprise, and a crowd starts forming since they think
you making a fuss is the start of some new event. Kengo comments on the
mood getting weird, so you decide to play things off by dancing.
The
gang is baffled by your actions, and you can either ask Nyarlathotep or
Gabriel for an encore. Nyarlathotep is quick to comply whereas Gabriel
thinks about it for a second before agreeing. Touji tries to talk to
you, so you prompt everyone to join in. Ziz agrees and asks Behemoth to
join. He’s confused at first until she asks him what he should do after
eating.
Kenta joins in and asks Inugami and
the Evil to dance too. Surtr takes this as his chance to teach people
the jazzercise of the giants and strikes a pose. He then turns to you
and asks you to work out with him. You either agree and call him by
name, call him Dad, or take his hand.
Surtr
soon notices a butterfly and says the new season must be coming shortly
as it flies above him. He talks about how time flows and repeats, but
mentions he might not be with you next time. But even if you end up
alone he asks that you remember that he was with you once.
Surtr
talks about how pain and sadness pile on and how people find meaning in
them, and how they can move forward from it. One day you might have to
carry the weight of the world. He’ll always be thinking about the path
ahead of you.
After a moment of watching
Azathoth zoom around Harlot and Arc, Shino walks over and asks to have
the next dance with you. You agree and dance next to him or take his
hand. Going C if it matters, narration (or his thoughts) talks about how
he holds your hand in front of people and how no one makes an issue of
it. That there is a place where that can be was something he only ever
saw as a dream back then. Shino seems to cry a little but excuses it as
dust getting into his eyes. He wonders when it is that he can tell his
younger self that he’ll one day reach this place.
As
the dance ring expands, Touji watches. After some time he tells you
he’ll dance too, so you either dance next to him or take his hand. He
talks after a bit and says he knows you were trying to cover things up,
but it’s not like you should resort to dancing all the time. But then he
talks about how you’ve been doing things he’s never thought about ever
since he met you.
Touji talks about how you
guys are different. Different in tastes, different in how you guys got
here, lots of things really. He used to oppose and despise you, but now
he thinks the differences are interesting. Touji brings up what Hougen
talked about with yin and yang and how they balance each other without
really mixing or erasing each other, which he understands a bit better
now. Touji can now accept that the two of you are different and that
it’s okay.
Narration focuses on Behemoth
and Kenta dancing together. It’s a bit uneven with their size
difference, but they still have fun. Behemoth talks about how he can eat
sweets again after he gets hungry, and after that he can dance until he
empties his stomach again. Kenta says he’ll make sweets for Inugami
again, who seems happy about it.
Ziz laughs
and talks to Behemoth and Leviathan, which segues into her thoughts.
She talks about how the three of them were always trapped in their
beliefs and shut up in her wings. But once they left they met people who
could turn those beliefs around. She wonders if those beliefs were ever
a big deal to be overturned by such a small trigger.
Ziz
then thinks she wants to teach to all the worried children and share a
bit of her modest miracle. She thanks you and says she feels she can be a
teacher now. You either sorta nod and shrug, ask what she means, or
just agree. She laughs again in any case, and as the dance reaches its
climax she throws her feathers into the air for a fantastic show.
Applaud roars, and things end for the epilogue to pick up on.
