Seaside Fashionista Episode 3 Part 1

Day 3 of the event and we are once again meeting Arachne in front of Shinjuku Station. She’s already there waiting for us, and narration says she’s been getting attention with how much she could pass for a fashion model herself. You greet her, then panic for a moment about being late if she’s here first.

Arachne says you’re on time and that she only just got there herself. She also says she was so inspired yesterday by the jocks that she couldn’t sleep. You then either express shock that she didn’t sleep, say getting rest is important, or say fashion work is pretty tough.

Arachne just laughs it off and says it’s the fate she decided upon. Moving along, she greets you now and says she brought some bagel sandwiches for breakfast today, and of course there’s a high quality honey sandwich for Tsathoggua. Speaking of him though, she notices he isn’t there and asks if he’s running late.

You tell her something came up as a flashback kicks in. Earlier that morning Hakumen called you telling you her basement dwelling loafer is running a fever. When Tsathoggua tries to ask for the phone, she tells him to get back to bed already, but he manages to take the phone from her.

Tsathoggua apologizes and says he’ll have to take the day off. He asks you to help Arachne for the day and feels things will be okay if you’re with her, then collapses. Xolotl is there panicking and trying to get Tsathoggua to feel better by giving him some honey candy. Hakumen picks the phone back up to say she’ll be ending the call, then asks Xolotl to bring an ice pack. She also complains about how Tsathoggua never does anything for her no matter what she did.

Back to the present, Arachne is surprised by what happened and asks if making sloth incarnate work caused his entire body to go on strike. She’d like to go visit him now but feels that going over would just be getting in the way, so she declares you guys should go make today a success so you guys can give him some good news, which you agree with.

Title card pops up, and this chapter is called I’m Really Looking Forward to It.

Camera then tunes back in as you and Arachne get out at Shibuya Station, and Arachne asks you what kind of school you two are heading towards. You guys were at a famous sports school yesterday, and it was really inspiring.

Arachne is sure today will be just as inspiring, and says that she figured out some stuff when she saw Maria and Gabriel in their nun habits. You tell her that you guys are going to Shibuya’s Daikanyama Academy, which is also a unique kind of school.

Arachne says she’s done a little bit of research this time since she suspected it was that school. She talks about it being a school jointly established with a monastery and how it unusually has a theater department considering its setup. She’s also looked at their uniforms and is surprised a designer came up with them. She wants to try it out too one day as part of her ambition, so she wonders if she can work that suggestion into her discussions later.

You then bring up that there’s a church on campus as well as a lot of angels. Arachne says she knows and that she’s heard that the school chapel does Eden style marriage ceremonies. She thinks Eden style bridal dress designs are good too with all the lace and frills.

Arachne says she likes the wedding clothes of other worlds too, of course. For example she thinks the white kimono from Wa no Kuni is cute. Tuxedos and formal hakama are great too. They’re simple, so they can focus on one point. And then you can have angels blessing you, which she thinks makes for a great scene.

You either wonder about that or say you can see her dreams. Either way she says that’s just her thoughts. There are plenty of people who won’t hold ceremonies for one reason or another. Having said that, holding a ceremony while everyone wears what they want would be wonderful. She then asks if you think combining a wedding dress and a white kimono would look great.

As you two continue talking you pretty much reach the school. Arachne remembers something from the mention of angels before and says she once gotten an order from an idol angel. They never actually met, she was just sent photos and measurements. But still she had fun. There were a lot of orders and requests from that job though.

Arachne did watch Gabriel perform while wearing her clothes, and she admits even she was glued to the screen when she saw. You either comment about that being a good memory, say there’s a lot that is coming to mind, or say there might be some memory in the corner of your mind.

Arachne says it was about Christmas time, and she thinks there was a Santa race going on at the same time. But anyways she decides to not dwell on it any longer and says it’s a principle of hers to not linger on the past. Now’s the time to get the fashion going and blow out another part of the challenge!

When you guys enter the campus, Arachne notes that no one is around and how quiet it is compared to Yoyogi. She then sees the chapel and suggests going over there.

Arachne starts talking about how she normally doesn’t have contact with angels and wonders what their wing structure is like. You see the dark angel mob leader along with some other rando angel, and you point them out to her. You can also recognize the dark angel mob.

Arachne expresses surprise at the angels and their practically duct taped on body suits and starts getting a bit starstruck over how tight and eye catching their bodies are. She also starts wondering where they store their wings if it’s a full body suit and how it could be made to be so form fitting.

Arachne starts walking over towards the angels in a daze, and you try to call out to her to get her to stop or you try to yell at the angels to tell them to run. The dark angel recognizes you and starts asking what you’re there for, though he stops when he notices Arachne and asks who she is. She starts yelling about her sheer curiosity and how she has to know.

The angels tell her to stop since only staff and people with permission are allowed to enter. Arachne starts commenting on how the feel of their materials are and excuses herself before rapidly manhandling them. The angels attempt to tell her to stop, but Arachne asks them to hold still or else she could get rough.

As she’s doing this she’s taking notes on the touch sensations and flexibility of the suits. She’s amazed by the materials and says she’s never seen it before. Whatever it is she understands how it can be so tight fitting. The rando angel tells her to stop as he tries to stab her, except she’s already dodged by the time he tries.

In the second he tries looking for her Arachne is apparently pinching the suit at his ass and comments on how the suit is almost like a second skin itself in how it reverts back when pulled on. The mob tries to tell her to stop since she might actually tear it. Arachne notes that the suit binds the angel’s muscles and apparently swelling arteries. When she jumps over to the angel boss she wonders how it is around the wings. Whatever it does she doesn’t say.

Arachne then asks the angel leader if he’ll tell her if the suits are made from some special material from Eden she’s heard about. He doesn’t know but he tries to ask her to stop feeling them up with her eight hands. You either tell Arachne to stop, tell her she can’t touch the angels, or ask her to keep going.

Whichever you pick Arachne keeps going regardless. But eventually a wall of fire surrounds you two and the angels escape. Arachne is initially displeased about her observations being interrupted, but her complaints stop when the fire wall drops to show a bunch of angels surrounding you two. She asks if she went on an unconscious rampage again. You say she did, say there wasn’t any time to stop her, or express pity for the two angels.

Zabaniya shows up saying he got a report of some evildoers but he’s surprised to see you with them and asks for an explanation. Arachne awkwardly tries saying she forgot herself by going crazy when she saw some new materials. Zabaniya doesn’t say anything, so you either apologize, prod Arachne to do the same, or say you got caught up in the mood too and lost your head.

In any case Zabaniya asks you guys to come with him do some questioning can be handled, looking deeply disturbed as he escorts you two in. You’re both taken to some room, and Maria offers you guys some tea. Arachne thanks her and seems mortified at what she’s done again.

Arslan says he almost fell out of his chair when he heard what happened from Zabaniya. Arachne apologizes again for what she did, and you either say she’ll have to apologize to the angel leader later or say you’re also really sorry. Arslan says that if the perpetrator is someone you know he isn’t planning on asking questions. Though since she did cause a scene he can’t just let her go free.

Arslan asks Arachne to pick between Zabaniya’s torture and volunteer work starting the next day. She’s alarmed by the choices and opts for the second choice, saying punishment back in her home world is pretty harsh. Arslan then says she’ll be fixing and sorting secondhand clothes then. Then he asks what you want. If you pick volunteer work then he’ll probably put you on dorm cleaning to be done on your next vacation.

You can either ask for the torture, the volunteer work, or protest that you’re a bystander. Arslan then laughs and reveals he was kidding, but if you’re really interested then he could go tell Zabaniya about it. Arachne says she’d actually like to help with the volunteer work he brought up. Arslan is surprised but admits the angel leader told him they were short on hands so it would be helpful.

Arachne says she feels making reparations are needed since she did cause a scene. That, and she does have an interest in sorting the angels’ secondhand clothes. She then tries asking what material their suits are made of since it’s not something she’s seen in Tokyo.

Arslan says he can’t say where they came from, but they are a kind of security uniform meant to make body checks easy. Arachne is taken aback about them being uniforms and calls them novel.

Arslan says it’s time to change the subject and warns Arachne to not do what she did again. She says she’ll be careful and says she loses sight of things around her when it comes to clothes. So if it ever happens again she should make a quick getaway.

Arslan is momentarily shocked before laughing about how adventurous Arachne is. Maria then asks why you guys are here and offers to help if she can. Arachne says she’s here to fulfill an order to make something. Maria has to think about it for a moment before she has some sort of idea who would do that and offers to get them.

Arachne is glad things are going quickly and intends to progress through things smoothly. Maria then comes back and brings Gabriel with her, who apologizes for being incognito and decides to introduce herself as Mystery Sister.

Having said that, she doesn’t remember making any orders and says she’s the type to change at whichever studio she goes to for whatever. But Arachne is here and all so she’ll try to help. A moment passes as both of them grasp that they’re there, and Gabriel asks Maria in surprise why Arachne is there. Maria is baffled it wasn’t Gabriel who made an order. Arachne says Gabriel is cute and all but she actually has business with the torturer.

Arachne describes him as physically beautiful and having avant-garde arm holes, though he tried to hide in the corner in the shop. Arslan is surprised about who she’s talking about, and you ask if she’s talking about Zabaniya. She says it is and adds that he seemed troubled about clothing then too.

Arslan talks about Zabaniya’s issue being stubbornness which has been around for a while, which Gabriel seems sad about. Arachne asks where he is, so Maria says he’s managing the defense of the church. Arachne suggests going to see him now and get things going, which you agree with.

Maria speaks up to suggest you guys wait since Zabaniya is busy with important work. Gabriel says he might burn you guys if you try to bother him. Arslan laughs about how forward facing you guys are and how it reminds him of himself. However he also suggests waiting since Arachne only just caused a scene, and Zabaniya might actually torture her if she goes.

Arachne apologizes again and decides to wait like everyone is telling her to. Gabriel calls her pushy, though she admits she doesn’t have room to talk. She does think that you have to be that level of pushy to be in the business world though. Arachne then suddenly turns to Maria, telling her the tea is great and asks her to tell her what brand it is later.

Maria agrees and says she’ll get more, then asks if she wants anything in it. Arachne turns it down since she says she can’t drink that much tea or coffee. She would like Maria to teach her how to make it though.

Some time later Arslan asks Arachne why she wants Zabaniya to make a request for clothes. Arachne says she’s doing it to clear a challenge and make him wear her clothing. The Missionaries are confused by this, so you tell Arachne she should have took a step further back, tell her that doesn’t explain anything, or offer to explain yourself.

After you explain Arslan says he has the general idea and summarizes it as figuring out why Arachne can’t sell her clothes despite how high quality they are through the challenge she took on. Arachne says she’s proud of the quality of her work, which would mean there’s something else as the cause. As such she’s visiting all the schools to find out why.

Gabriel is quiet, so Arachne starts talking to her. She says Gabriel can’t hide her mysterious aura, then brings up that she recommended a vest and then suddenly left. Arachne asks why that happened and why he didn’t try it on. And rather than her proud forceful behavior from before, Arachne asks in a more humble, upset sort of way.

Unfortunately Gabriel is hesitant to answer and doesn’t respond. Maria speaks up saying she thinks there’s something going on back in Zabaniya’s case along with everyone else. Arachne then mentions there’s something about Zabaniya that’s on her mind. She asks if his resistance to dressing up is some sort of ironclad rule.

Arslan says he was like that before, but he feels Zabaniya isn’t quite so stubborn now. You say your interactions with him have been good, say he seemed to have fun at Halloween at stuff, and mimic his relaxed behavior from back then.

Gabriel seems sad and says up until a little while ago he’d join along with whatever they were doing. Maria says that lately he seems uncomfortable, like he’s backsliding into his old personality. Arslan notices the time and says Zabaniya should be back soon since it’ll be his break, so you guys can ask then. The episode part ends as there is a knock on the door.
