Alp thanks her and says she’s brought along
chocolate and cookies too. Durga is surprised he’s interested in them
since she thought he can only eat what’s in dreams. Alp clarifies that
eating dreams is the only way to nourish himself, but he can still eat
and taste physical foods.
Durga ask if that
means he can eat in and out of dreams, but he has to eat what’s in
dreams to survive. He confirms that, then says that Durga could never
live off what she eats inside a dream. Alp also says that even if the
dream wasn’t eaten, just looking at it would fill her heart, which would
be the same thing.
Durga then asks if that
would mean that the sweets she ate inside her dream wouldn’t translate
to reality. Leib says he’s interested about that too. He says he did eat
things inside the dream and it did feel like it filled him up, but
figures it was just a placebo effect then. Durga in shock says she
should have just stuffed everything into her face then.
Alp
says he’s going to take some of the sweets Durga brought, so Durga
offers them to everyone. Kuniyoshi and Benten take up her offer, and you
either accept them too or ask her about them. Going B, Durga starts
saying that the candy came from Gunzou and Wakan Tanka, when Gunzou
shows up midway looking for her. He tells her that she shouldn’t be
running inside because of the dangers.
Wakan
Tanka also comes over and asks Durga if she’s handing out the candy.
She says she’s doing that right now, and Gunzou is surprised she ignored
him. Durga then has to say she isn’t and apologizes for running, then
promises to stop. But back to what she was saying, Durga says the two
boys brought it all over but were unable to eat it all. Since the event
is over she figured she may as well hand the leftovers out.
Leib
remembers the discussion where Durga was bothered by all the snacks
being brought in, so he says he’ll take some too. Cu Sith whines saying
he wants sweets too and asks if any is left. Wakan Tanka tells him to
relax because there’s plenty. Leib then says he’s starting to get
thirsty and asks if there’s any drinks.
Jambavan
shows up saying he’s figured as much and put on some tea, holding a tea
pot with Fenrir accompanying him holding a cup. Leib asks for Fenrir’s
cup, and Fenrir responds indignantly about being treated like a waiter.
He still hands it over. Anyways Jambavan says he heard you guys did this
for him in his dream, so he wanted to return the favor.
Durga
asks Jambavan for some tea too, and he obliges her since he has a lot.
He warns her it’s hot though. She thanks him and immediately burns
herself since she has a sensitive tongue. Jambavan apologizes and says
it should go down easier for her if she adds milk to her tea, so she
says she’ll try it out.
Fenrir comments on
the sweet smell and sweets, and Gunzou offers him some. There’s also
salty and bitter snacks too. You either compare things to a store or ask
if he really brought that many. Fenrir says to not tempt him with that
stuff because the lone wolf has to stay hungry. Wakan slides in to say
that hungry mentality makes Fenrir like a determined athlete too, who in
turn laughs this off as some attempt to tame him.
Wakan
Tanka steps closer as he tells him he shouldn’t deny himself too much
because look what happened to Durga. Fenrir relents and asks for
something sweet, so Wakan picks something he says melts the best for
him. Durga firmly asks Wakan to not use her as an excuse to hand out
sweets.
Fenrir eats the candy and hides it
as best he can, then comments that the candy in Durga’s dream tasted
better. You decide to ask Durga about seeing their picture book, but she
tries to talk you out of it. Gunzou agrees with her calling it a huge
mess of errors after errors. Wakan says he thought teamwork could
overcome it, but he admits it’s terrible too.
Alp
asks the jocks about them participating in the workshop for their
school grades, and Gunzou remembers that part of their grading on this
involves having the book put on display for a bit. Durga freaks out
about this, so you ask if it really that horrible or ask what they
actually ended up with.
Durga blacks out on
her feet for a second, which Wakan Tanka finds amazing in a way. Gunzou
tells you guys that it was originally based off what Durga came up
with, but they redid it to include stuff from what happened in the dream
world. The thing is the group can’t really draw, so they made some sort
of monstrosity of a book.
Durga starts
coming back to her senses, which the boys notice. Durga then yells about
how she’s gonna grab the book and trash it, and Gunzou tries to talk
her out of it since they need it for attendance. Wakan Tanka tries to
convince her not too either, brushing off their graduation concerns and
focusing on it being the crystallization of their teamwork. But nope,
Durga’s fine with repeating a year if it means people won’t have to
associate her with The Book.
She runs off,
and Wakan calls for anyone to stop her since he can’t catch up. Gunzou
tries to run after her anyway, and the boys leave. Kuniyoshi thinks it’d
be a shame to have that book destroyed and says he wants to see it.
Benten on the other hand thinks destroying something out on display is
super awesome and intends to take a video to upload and hopefully go
viral.
Durga runs off faster than you’ve
ever seen her go for the display, fast enough that Gunzou and the others
have no hope of catching up to her. Jambavan wonders if it’s okay and
says the event staff are congregating, and Leib says the jocks are
always causing some sort of commotion. Cu Sith asks how Jambavan’s
team’s book came out.
Jambavan says it came
out fine, and that they also incorporated things from the dream world.
Licht says his team looked at Jambavan’s book and says it’s easy to read
and polished. He also says it could be sold in bookstores with no
problems. Jambavan thanks him, saying the event was fun and that he was
glad to show his skills. You ask if he’s been busy again or if he’s been
working alone.
Jambavan says he’s okay. At
first his share of the work was pretty big, but after what happened in
the dream his team took charge out of concern for him. Leib compliments
Fenrir, who says Jambavan was working so hard he wasn’t seeing the
things going on around himself so he should rely on others more.
Jambavan thanks him and calls him cool.
Jambavan
does admit that his team went to bed early so he had to work through
the night. Cu Sith decides that now would be a good time to thank you
again for joining him this event. Being with everyone eased up his
loneliness, and he suggests playing again after today. You agree and
thank him for inviting you.
Leib also
thanks you for looking after Cu Sith. He invites you to the dorms next
time you come to Ueno as the rest of the Beast Tamers here will be
there. You say okay and that you’ll come see him too. Leib says that
when that time comes he’ll stick you with so much work and asks you to
let him enjoy himself.
Alp talks to you
next, so you either say you’ll see him again or thank him for
everything. Going A, he says he’s sure you’ll meet again since the
popular people are drawn to each other. It’s common sense, so he doesn’t
feel lonely about it. He invites you to come over again and you agree.
Narration picks up to say you two high five, and everyone talks and eats
and checks out each other’s works as the party extends into the night.
On
the way back home, Solomon pops up to talk, commenting that things were
rough. He asks if you missed him over the three days. You can tell him
yes or no. Going A he gets all self-satisfied as he calls himself your
precious butler. Then he asks about the completed book being sent out to
you some time later, asking to see it if he can. You agree and can also
offer to read it to him.
Going A, he says
something about this being a Rank 3 Picture Book Discussion
Certification, but comments that it would be weird to talk about your
book. As such he asks you to read it to him. You can shrug and agree or
tell him no.
Going A again he cheers and
asks to be coddled. He then gives you directions back to the Shinjuku
dorms and commends you for your work at the workshop, telling you to
relax when you get back before he leaves. And as you keep going, you
remember a conversation you had with Alp.
Flashback
starts up again as Alp asks why you’re making a face. You ask him what
was in your dream since he saw it. He takes a moment to remember what
you’re talking about, then says it was pretty amazing. He teases you
about if you want to know and is about to tell you before rethinking
that and stopping.
Alp assures you that it
was nothing to be worried over and tells you to not be suspicious of it.
He says he likes it. After a moment he asks you if you’re worried about
anything, but says he wants you to listen to him even if you don’t.
Alp
starts talking about how dreams are constantly changing no matter what
kind of person you are. They grasp the wishes at that time and project
them. Even if you fall to despair or lose your way, you can change it if
you strongly wish for it. You can rewrite your own future. Such is the
power of dreams, and Alp has begun to feel that way after going through
that dream adventure.
So to sum it all up,
Alp asks you to never give up. You can do it, no matter what happens
after this. Alp then wonders what sort of dream you’ll have tonight,
then decides to make an open request. He offers to show you all his
dreams, so he wants to see all of yours. The event then ends with with
some final words as Alp says he’s really, really, REALLY interested in
your dreams.
