Camera then tunes
back in as the alchemist says that the theme for the book should be
“kingdom of dreams.” It can be anything that fits that description, like
a fantasy heaven, an ideal world, or a place of wonder. Then he prompts
everyone to get started.
Alp turns to you
and Cu Sith asking if you guys have any ideas. Cu says it’s hard thing
to come up with. You suggest figuring out the general mood, or by
deciding on the setting particulars like who, what, when, where, and
why. Cu Sith agrees as Jambavan said details should be left for later,
so he suggests a fun dream kingdom where everyone can be happy. The idea
appeals to him since he doesn’t like being lonely. Alp then says he’d
like a story about becoming popular, then asks you to come up with a
why.
You can either suggest wanting self
acceptance, because of feelings of loneliness, or because of not having
anything. Alp agrees with whichever you pick, as does Cu Sith. With that
settled Cu Sith says it’s time to work on the details.
Before
anything else happens, Alp asks you out of curiosity if the motive you
picked as an answer is something you share on a personal level. You can
say yes or no. Going A, Alp says he’s gotten more interested in you. Cu
Sith then asks you what your dream is. Like, did you want to be anything
when you were little? You tell them either an abridged version about
your whole memories thing or you just tell them you don’t remember
anything from before coming to Tokyo. Either way Cu Sith is shocked to
hear that and apologizes for making you feel bad, but you tell him it’s
fine.
Alp talks about how having no memories
can also be a good thing, which Cu sympathizes with a little. Cu Sith
talks about his master suddenly being gone one day and how lonely that
left him, so if he ever forgot them he could go forward without the
bitter memories. But even so, he says it’s bitter because he doesn’t
want to forget.
Alp agrees, saying things
can be tough with or without memories. Cu Sith apologizes for making the
conversation depressing, then says he’s been having lots of fun since
coming to Tokyo. He also says it’s good to be able to remember and says
they should make lots of new memories. You thank him and agree.
Alp
starts talking to himself about how dreams that people want to make
real and ideal worlds are part of people’s’ unconscious minds. He also
calls it a fragment of a dream that comes from the depths of one’s
heart. Cu interrupts this reverie to ask if Alp just thought up of
something for the story. He answers that he was just interested about
your unconscious mind dream world. He wonders what it’d taste like. Maybe a mysterious dream journey.
Cu
Sith says he doesn’t understand the words coming out of Alp’s mouth, so
Alp tells him he doesn’t need to know as he scratches and rubs his
head. The bell rings around that time, so the alchemist says to call it a
day there.
The alchemist talks about how
everyone will be staying the nights at some of the classrooms in Ueno
Academy. Every team will be assigned to one classroom, but for security
concerns they won’t be given keys to these rooms. The whole school will
be locked up instead. He assures everyone that it’ll be okay, as not
even ants or poisonous gases can get in. The Stand however thinks it’s a
good idea to say that they’ll all be screwed if gas shows up within the
school.
No one is amused, and the
alchemist tries to pass it off as a joke. He then talks about how some
people may not want to sleep together with their teammates, so they have
indoor tents available for any accommodations needed. There is a
limited amount though, so they’ll be handed out first come first serve.
Some
time later after people have eaten and socialized a bit, it’s about
bedtime for everyone. Benten bids you good night so she can get some
beauty sleep. Kuniyoshi hopes you guys can see each other in your
dreams, and Licht says he’ll go to bed early and take some medicine
since his head still hurts. You can either say to Benten good night, say
you’ll see Kuniyoshi in your dreams, or tell Licht to take care of
himself.
If you with A, Benten remembers
that she bought a beauty pack earlier and shares some of it with you.
She says that in the morning your skin will be super smooth. In C, Licht
thanks you for your concern and says he’ll be okay. In any case Licht
will take up his group’s suggestion that he go to bed first.
Benten
says it’d be best he go before Kuniyoshi starts keeping him up with his
snoring. Kuniyoshi in turn says Benten has terrible sleeping posture
and suggests Licht borrows a tent. After a moment for that to hang in
the air, Benten accuses Kuniyoshi of sleeptalking and denies having bad
posture. He denies snoring or sleep talking and even challenges her to
see who’s quieter at night. Licht just tries to end the argument saying
he doesn’t mind snoring or posture or whatever, but both sides insist
they don’t do that.
The two continue to
bicker as Team Art School heads off to their classroom. Cu Sith makes an
observation about their fight and says he’s worried for Licht. Alp says
Licht’s headache has to be coming from the others, so it’s going to
suck for him to be in close quarters with them.
The
jocks walk up to talk to you guys next having finished their clean up.
Durga bids you guys good night, and Wakan says stretching before bed
would be good for you. He even offers to teach you how and invites you
guys to come to their room if you want. Gunzou says if everyone comes
over they should play games together. He’s bought some stuff that they
can play at night, so Durga wants to play too. You bid them good night.
The
sports gang wave as they leave, and Alp is surprised that they could
possibly be up all night. Cu Sith is amazed too since he can’t stay up
that long. Alp tells him that’s fine because otherwise he can’t go eat dreams nothing. He then suggests getting washed up and going to bed, so you and Cu Sith agree, mentioning that tomorrow may be busy.
Jambavan
comes over next and asks to go together to your rooms, and Fenrir says
you’ll need rest to challenge the upcoming dawn. Cu Sith agrees, so you
guys head off. You then ask if Ueno dorm students will be sleeping in
the forms or ask if Jambavan is sleeping with you guys. He tells you all
the on campus participants will be sleeping in the classrooms like
their teammates. Cu Sith thinks it’s a good thing since it’ll be more
fun and less lonely. Alp is a dorm member too, but he thinks it’ll be
fun sleeping somewhere else for a change.
You
can then agree or wonder if you’ll be too nervous to sleep. Alp
suggests that you use Cu Sith as a hug pillow if you can’t sleep, but he
protests this. Jambavan sobs in agreement saying he sometimes gets used
as a pillow too, but he quickly changes the subject to say be careful
about getting lost in a building you’ve never been to before.
Alp
agrees saying the layouts at Ueno can be pretty complicated and that he
got lost at first. Cu Sith says he’ll be fine since he can use his
nose. Around this time Jambavan says you’ve reach the room your team is
staying in, and Cu thanks him for showing the way. You can thank him or
invite him to join you guys. Going with A, he suggests sleeping over
together with everyone another time. Fenrir talks about the night taking
in chaos and having dreams is important. You can ask if he means
staying up late is bad, say you know and thank him, or invite him to
sleep together.
In B, Fenrir says this
isn’t a goodbye and just a break, and that he’ll see you tomorrow on the
battlefield~. In C he’s shocked by the suggestion but eventually says
that he’s not against the idea. In any case Jambavan says good night and
the groups split.
Inside the classroom Alp
asks if you guys will be borrowing a tent. Cu says he wants to sleep
together with everyone as it’ll be more fun, which Alp is okay with. You
can either say you want to sleep together with them or say you want to
sleep alone because you’re embarrassed. Going A, Cu Sith cheers and ask
if it’s okay to hug you at bed time. It calms him down when he gets
lonely.
Alp suggests you guys all sleep
side by side, with you in the middle. He also wants to use you as a hug
pillow. Anyways you all lie down for bed as the lights turn off, and you
can choose to either face Cu Sith, Alp, or the ceiling. If you go with B
there’s an extra bit saying you make eye contact with each other, and I
assume it’s him who quickly shuts his eyes.
In
any case you eventually get to sleep. Some time later one of you guys
gets up in the night. Cu Sith has to pee, so he leaves the room trying
to not wake anyone up. Soon as he goes, Alp gets up and whispers about
how he’s finally alone with you. He gets up and gets a little distance
away saying it’s finally time to eat learn. His intention is to look through your heart so he can figure out how to be popular himself.
As
he gets himself ready he figures out if he has enough space to dance.
He does notice that Cu Sith left the door open and wonders if he forgot,
but he figures it’ll be fine since the whole school will be a closed
area for him to work with. He puts on his hat and recites the invocation
spiel. Alp’s class is Dream Eater and his concept is Changeover. Though
of note, it’s not formatted like how everyone else has done the lines
so far.
Alp describes his hat as a sacred
mystery that surpassed human knowledge and says the truth of people
seeks out dream delicacies. When dreams and reality cross, a sincere
desire will create a world. Alp turns his hat around, which gets
compared to turning a key, and the symbol on it shines. He breakdances
where he is, and when he finishes it he jumps through space to dive into
your dream. He’s surprised to see whatever it is he sees, and the
section ends with the title card popping up. This chapter is called The
Picture Book and the Mysterious World.
