Behemoth talked about his dream as he
smiled. If that was how it was going to be, he wanted to eat lots of
good food. Ziz grieved for him, because she believed his power would
never allow it. Leviathan also laughed, saying he wanted to be so big
that everyone would have to look up to him. He wanted to live in a way
that would make him unforgettable, the best. Ziz grieved for him,
because she believed his power would never allow that.
Ziz
says she was created for protection, so that no one could interfere
with Behemoth’s and Leviathan’s collection. The reason for that is
because it wasn’t allowed for any harm to fall to the sources of faith
offered to Eden or its people. She would guard the energy they gathered
along with the basis of belief, and then she would die.
Because
of that, she was made to love everyone so that the outside world
wouldn’t interfere with the collecting. And she was made, inside and
out, to stay with Behemoth and Leviathan until the end.
Behemoth
kept eating, but he could not taste anything. Leviathan looked up to
him, as the jealousy put within him dictated. And Ziz kept protecting
them, up until her life burned out as she was made. The three of hem
always smiled, even as they gave up on their dreams. Ziz hopes their
dreams would come true, lamented them...then smiled as she thought it
wouldn’t come to be. Smiling was all she could do.
They
were the three beasts, only made to gather energy. They did not have
any hopes of leaving anything behind. Not their own happiness, not any
memories for anyone else. They hung onto their dark grey dreams, smiling
as their world stayed shut within Ziz’s feathers. But when the time
came, the light of summoning appeared.
Things
tune back to the present with Behemoth still his giant ballooned self.
Ryouta points out that’s nothing happened, and on top of that Behemoth
isn’t dancing either. He’s just grabbing all the food in reach and
chowing down. Or rather, he’s sucking it all into his mouth. Kenta seems
to notice something and runs off.
You make
the observation that Behemoth is still growing and not reacting to your
movements, and you wonder if he can even hear the music. Shirou says he
doubts Behemoth can hear the music too, and as he watches narration
says Behemoth isn’t moving an inch. Then the music cuts off.
Ryouta
wonders in disappointment if the organizers will turn the music back on
if you ask them. Nomad says they can’t since they’ll be using the
speakers to direct guests to other parts of the indoor area. You then
ask if making this place not an enclosed area any more will revert
Behemoth back.
Nomad says you guys should
stop Behemoth since no one knows what will happen. He’s serious about it
as he has some experience with the idea. Shirou talks about how if a
bunch of Transients and App Players are in an enclosed space, things
will work as if you guys are in a battle area. He says that as far as
he’s found out though, no one knows what happens to released memories
while a power is active. It’s possible they’ll only forget what
happened, but Shirou suggests leaving that as a last resort.
Nomad
sighs about this happening when it’s most crowded. Ryouta asks about
this since it’ll be evening soon, so Nomad says that this is when people
getting off work tend stop by. Since Behemoth isn’t moving, Kengo
suggests using his CS on him. Shirou considers this since maybe it might
do something but he still seems against it.
Marchosias
speaks out against it, saying superficial attacks won’t work on
Behemoth. You either express surprise that he’s here, casually comment
on him being there, or take advantage of the current commotion to go up
and hug him.
Going with A, Marchosias says
that since there was an event going on he figured he’d bring the boy
here to eat some of the things he likes. Also if the Outlaws need him to
help, then he’ll do it. Nomad asks if he’s done that thing he asked him
to do, so you either ask if they know each other or say his office *is*
in Kabukicho.
Marchosias says as much
either way, so they’ve run into each other several times. Nomad asks
about the evacuation, so Marchosias says it’s moving along without
delays since Behemoth isn’t moving. But since the building doesn’t have
that many exits, there are still some guests who haven’t been evacuated
yet.
Marchosias says that the other Outlaws
are helping out but it’ll still be some time before everyone inside is
moved out. Nomad says this is also an effect of the dancing, so Shirou
asks if the organizers are claiming that Behemoth getting giant sized is
a demonstration. Nomad says they are, but whatever to stop a panic.
Nomad
says that with the music stopped though, business can’t resume until
things are solved. You comment on the state of things or just call it
chaos. Kengo comments on how crazy Ziz’s artifact is since thanks to it
there have been no injuries. Shirou says he wants to get a plan together
while Behemoth isn’t doing anything.
Behemoth
seems a bit sad now and is waving, which you notice or wave back at
him. He’s happy if you do. Ryouta says he’s noticed something and asks
if he can say it. Shirou asks if he has an idea, but Ryouta says that
some time during your discussions Behemoth has been watching you guys
and waving his hands.
Everyone else is
shocked to hear this, and Behemoth is waving again as hard as he can
when everyone catches his eye. Kengo asks if Behemoth is sane, and
Ryouta says he must be. He also makes the connection that Behemoth acts
this way when he eats something he can taste. Shirou says Behemoth must
have gotten his sanity back too, but wonders if someone besides you,
Surtr, Shino, or Touji can make something he can taste.
You
ask who could have made it and where did Behemoth eat it. Ryouta says
you guys should figure something out before Behemoth acts up again. You
say you guys should go or ask where Kenta is. Going B, Shirou wonders if
he was evacuated and figures there isn’t anywhere more dangerous than
where you guys are. Kengo then urges you guys to get moving.
Marchosias
says he’ll help you guys as one of the Outlaws, but he’s not sure he
can help with ‘that’ Behemoth. Shirou asks if he knows him from Gehenna,
and he says he’s only ever known him at his larger side. Marchosias
also tells you that Leviathan was said to be the only one able to oppose
him. They both grew so large until they fought and knocked each other
out.
Marchosias takes one look at Behemoth,
then says he heard he’s your friend so he’ll give you some advice or a
warning. It is based on him being the same Behemoth he knows of, though.
Anyways, since Behemoth is made to store energy without letting it
spill out, he was made to be sturdier than anything.
Shirou
asks if he’s implying that no external attacks will work on him.
Marchosias nods, then says battles are decided by numbers. But that
would be useless against Behemoth. Marchosias says Zabaniya and
Lucifuge’s abilities wouldn’t do much, though he doesn’t name them. But
at least if that is the real Behemoth and Ziz, there shouldn’t be any
casualties.
That was how they were made
after all, and when the time comes they’d be the only ones to go as
sacrifices. You say you won’t let that happen because they’re friends,
and that you’ll do what you can. Marchosias says he’ll help you again.
Shinya runs in and asks to talk to you, saying he’s heard everything and
apologizes for eavesdropping.
You either
say his name or say you’re glad he’s okay. Shinya says he suspected they
were sacrifices, then gives you some chocolate that he says he made
with thoughts for his friends. You ask why he knows, ask what he does
know, or just look at him questioningly.
Going
with A, Shinya says he can’t tell you and apologizes. He still wonders
if you’ll trust him. You either thank him, say you trust your friends,
or just take the chocolates and thank him. Going A again, he thanks you
too. And since Shinya’s ability doesn’t seem like it’ll help this time,
he says he’ll assist with the evacuation. He tells you to be careful.
You
thank Shinya and say you’re going, telling him to take care too as you
face toward Behemoth. As you run off, Shinya has a monologue about
saying it resembles a system. Eden and Olympus have a definite
difference, but Shinya says a World’s Sacrifice’s feelings for another
World’s Sacrifice won’t be collected since it’s not something to be
taken inside the walls.
Sacrifices are
meant to absorb things in their own outside the Walls, which is why they
can taste. That’s what their role is, to be used by their original
worlds. His internal monologue ends, and Shinya wishes you good luck as
someone the same as him and as a friend.
Focus
shifts to Behemoth as he tries to talk to Ziz. She asks when he
returned to his senses, and he says it was in the middle of the song
being played. He gets the feeling someone gave him some food he could
taste. Ziz asks who, but Behemoth doesn’t know. They might have been
blown away. Behemoth curses himself for causing problems again just by
existing, yet he says it was fun still.
Behemoth
talks about how awesome Tokyo is and how unbelievable it is he could
actually taste something. It’s thanks to Ziz and you guys, and in the
end he made some good memories. He does regret bothering Shino and Touji
amongst other people though. Even so, he says he can’t let that happen
anymore.
Behemoth asks Ziz for a favor now
while he still can. He wants her to seal him up with her artifact before
he goes berserk again. She talks about his memories from Gehenna,
asking if he pretended to forget so she wouldn’t get sad. He doesn’t
answer, saying any method of sealing is fine, and that he wants it to be
over.
Ziz says she can’t do it, because
that’s not what her artifact was made to do. It can’t hurt anyone. And
Leviathan isn’t here either so she can’t do much herself. Ziz then says
that she’ll stay with him until they use up all their power in this
enclosed space. Behemoth tries to protest this because something will
happen to them again, but then he starts losing it again.
Behemoth
says he wants to eat more things with flavor, but he’s losing his grip
on himself and tries to ask Ziz for help. You run in at this point and
tell Behemoth you’re here, ask Ziz if she’s okay, and(/or?) bring up the
chocolate you have. Kengo asks Ziz if Behemoth is still sane and able
to talk.
Ziz and Behemoth are surprised,
but Behemoth starts shaking in a fit, which causes enough of a wind to
blow you all back. Behemoth begs you to tell everyone to run, so you say
you’ll bring him with you and that you came to return him to normal.
Kengo agrees with you, but then notices something.
Behemoth
repeats that he wants to eat and that he can’t hold on, then tells you
guys to run again. He shakes again, and Kengo and Ziz get lumped
together and driven out. Ziz reacts by using her artifact to bring the
two of them back to the ground.
Shirou
yells and asks if you guys can talk with Behemoth. Ryouta asks where you
went since you were together at first, but Ziz points you out. You’re
grabbing on for dear life, even if it feels like your arm might break.
Behemoth’s sanity dips again, and his rustling causes a huge impact to
the surrounding area.
Ziz activates her NP
and tells everyone to get behind her as her feathers form a defensive
dome to block the shockwave. Ryouta thanks her but worries over you.
Kengo says you guys can’t get close like this and calls for you and
Behemoth, then realizes something. Ryouta notices that Behemoth has
stopped moving even though he was going crazy.
Shirou
says Behemoth looks distraught and wonders if something unexpected
happened. He nearly freaks as he sees something on Behemoth’s right
should and tells everyone to look calmly. When they all see what he
sees, they figure out why Behemoth still has some sanity left in shock.
Kenta
is over there with an Evil, and together with Inugami they all throw
chocolates and cookies they’ve made into Behemoth’s mouth. Shirou freaks
out about them almost falling, and Ryouta asks if the sweets they’re
throwing has feelings put into them. Shirou says Kenta and the Evils
made them back when everyone was doing their own thing. He heard Kenta
made them for Barguest, you guys, and Behemoth and Ziz.
Ryouta
says Shirou might get a heart attack over stressing over the kids
possibly falling off, then asks what you guys should do. Nomad says the
Outlaws will take care of the kids and everyone else should come to him.
Suzuka says that even if they do fall, Tetsugyuu can pull them in.
Moritaka
and Touji come in, and Moritaka asks if everyone is okay. Touji sighs
about things escalating again after what just happened earlier today.
Tetsuya says weird commotions happening at festivals they go to would be
bad for business, and Gyoubu says that with aligning goals they should
team up. Hougen agrees, saying he’ll work to protect the citizens.
Ryouta thanks everyone for showing and suggests having candy together
later.
Back to Kenta and Behemoth, Behemoth
tells Kenta he should run away quickly. Kenta says he almost fell, but
he’s okay because Inugami and the Evil helped him. Behemoth is
distressed he came back and asks why before trying to shoo him away
again. Kenta says he heard about Behemoth and Ziz’s story. He doesn’t
understand everything, but he thinks he’s the same.
Kenta
says he used to be locked up alone in a house with doors that didn’t
open. He was given food, but it was cold and tasteless. But now things
are different. He was afraid to go outside, but there’s Inugami and
Barguest, you, Behemoth, and the others. And he’s found lots of tasty
things to eat.
This seems to get through to
Behemoth, and Kenta says he’s sure there’s lots more out there. He says
they should eat them together, and that Behemoth shouldn’t go back
inside the walls. It’s lonely, and things would be cold and bland.
Behemoth turns to look at him, but this hits Kenta with a shockwave.
You
react to this by activating your sword and telling Kenta and the Evil
to grab on as you cut the power of gravity and fly up. They do so and
Kenta thanks you, and you tell him to either hold on tight or say you’ll
all get Behemoth out together.
Behemoth is
surprised as he sees the two of you. You either tell him you should go
home together, eat out together, or go somewhere warm together. He asks
why you’d go so far. But when he looks you in the eye he sees the same
light as they have.
Behemoth says he gets
it and says you and Kenta are the same as them. His thoughts say it was
always watching over them by their side. Not as an expression of pity,
but as a look from an equal. He understands that no one can look away
from the sadness they carry.
Behemoth says
he wants to eat more, everything in Tokyo that has a taste. And he wants
to eat them with you guys. Ziz starts having an internal monologue as
she recognizes your sword, but she refers to it as the 20 wings of the
one who once stood at the top of Eden. She always looked up at them from
Gehenna so she’s sure she’s looking at them now.
Ziz
never thought about the worlds outside Gehenna and Eden being so vast.
Then she says that Tokyo is wonderful, being a place where she can meet
people from Gehenna that she never would have and the place she found a
new dream.
Brief flashback happens to the
point where Behemoth said he heard that eating together makes things
taste better, so he wanted to join in too. After that’s done Ziz says
there’s many people like them here. She wonders if Leviathan is here too
and says she wants to see him.
Ryouta
tries talking to Ziz. She seems to understand something, then turns to
everyone and asks a favor even though she’s your teacher. She wants to
protect the dream and wish that Behemoth had given up on, so she asks
that they all work with her and save him. She acknowledges that it’s
crazy and dangerous and that she doesn’t know how to make it happen. She
also says she never managed to make it happen back in Gehenna.
But
even so, she hopes that here in Tokyo, maybe the possibilities of the
wide world can do something. Ryouta smiles and says you guys are used to
crazy hijinks. Shirou says that since you decided to do this, he wants
to help.
Touji says this doesn’t count as
crazy for you guys anymore, especially if compared to “that” being said.
Kengo says it’s been getting more and more since some unspecified
times, then says looking back it’s a surprise you guys survived.
Ziz
thanks the gang, and Kengo asks Shirou for any ideas. He talks about
sweets with feelings in them will at least give some sanity points, so
he’s thinking of just getting them all to Behemoth. Kengo is baffled and
thinks Shirou has gone around the bend at that.
Shirou
says that at least the guys have to go help you and Kenta. Kengo says
he’ll charge in first like usual. Ziz tells Behemoth to wait as everyone
will be going, and that she’ll do her best too. Then the episode ends.
