Year of the Wildest Boar Episode 2 Part 2

Things pick up with the trash slimes yelling as narration says the plan is going smoothly. Everyone helps chase the slimes to the entrance, and there turns out to be enough of them to cover up the floor, walls, and ceiling.

You signal to Gullinbursti, and he shouts a war cry as he swings his sword and mows down the mobs. They all disappear in a flash and leave no trace behind.

Now that things are cleaned up here, Agyou expresses his amazement at Gullinbursti’s forcefulness. Durga is surprised and says she should have taken a video. Gunzou wonders where all the slimes disappeared to, then freaks out about the idea that the slimes are ghosts.

Temujin walks over to say Gullinbursti missed a few and that it’s sloppy work to have him clean up from the rear. Gullinbursti is surprised to hear about this, and Tsathoggua says the slimes hassled him when he dozed off. Gullinbursti says he thought he got them all but admits he needs more training.

He apologizes for having bragged earlier and says it was reckless of him. Agyou protests that he’s plenty amazing already, maybe even too much so, then talks and acts out what he did with his sword. He then turns to you and asks if Gullinbursti has anything to apologize for.

You can either excitedly invite him to the guild, say Temujin did great too, or ask Tsathoggua if he’s okay. Going with C, he says it’s nothing to worry about and asks if you’re okay instead. He compliments your efforts, then says it’s bad to work yourself too hard, inviting you to laze around with him sometime.

In any case Agyou calls Gullinbursti a weirdo for thinking he still needs training despite being so strong already. Gullinbursti responds by saying it’s natural for him to be strong since he was made that way.

Agyou asks about this, so Gullinbursti says he was created to be a protector for his master. The fact that he is and isn’t a boar, his shining hair, everything was planned with that purpose in mind. He is a living being, yet he is also a weapon. He compares himself to a pair of scissors. You don’t compliment it for cutting paper do you? So while he is strong, he’s not at the level he wants to be.

Agyou asks what that level would be. Gullinbursti says it’s where it’s just enough to protect his master under any circumstances. He then adds that he’s already lost any way of showing that though. You can either say you’re sure he’ll find a new one or say he can take back what he’s lost.

Going with A, he says you’re strong, just like Freyr was. Then he comments in confusion thinking you might actually be Freyr. As he’s never said that out loud before you ask him what he’s talking about, though he dismisses it as talking to himself.

Durga pipes up to talk, saying it feels like the club building seems cleaner now. She then decides to go start practicing at the track field, and Gunzou chases after her saying she’s a jerk for going off alone to monopolize the thing. Agyou yells after them telling them to clean up. He gives up soon after as they’re already speeding away and asks how anyone can stand the mess.

Said mess includes stripped off clothes thrown around, empty deodorant bottles lying around, rolled up used tissues and half empty drink bottles...Agyou then starts crying about how he doesn’t get it and how the school and its students scare him.

Gullinbursti says it doesn’t seem like the slimes are coming from Yoyogi, and that it didn’t feel like he was destroying their source. Tsathoggua says it does seem like the slimes are making messy areas to expand their territory and wonders if there’s any way to figure where they’re coming from. Temujin suggests he already knows where to go next.

Tsathoggua says he had the taxi wait up front, and that he already has an idea where the slimes are even without having to sense them. Agyou asks if he knows their source then. Tsathoggua says they’ll know when they get there and says everyone should get into the car.

You guys then show up at the Tokyo Casino, and you can comment on it being rebuilt. It looks just like as shiny as it did before, which narration suggests may be a result of fast reconstruction. And while normally there’d be tons of guards around, it seems quiet this time which may be because of Tsathoggua being there.

Agyou asks about this being the casino, then realizes this makes it Tsathoggua’s home. Tsathoggua confirms that, then says it really does seem like the slimes are here. He didn’t want to think about it much. Agyou pushes him to take them in so they can solve the incident before it becomes a problem for Touji. Tsathoggua in response sits down and says he wants to go back to the safe house.

Inside the casino, the slimes are up and about having a good time trashing the place. Xolotl is in hysterics trying to stop them and begging them to go anywhere else. You barely take a step in and want to cover your eyes from all the trash dumping and breaking and scribbling.

Temujin and Gullinbursti comment on the tragedy of it all. You can either say it’s an even bigger disaster than you were thinking or ask Xolotl if he’s okay. He freaks out at you suddenly talking to him jumps almost all the way to the wall. Agyou says he doesn’t need to lose his crap quite so badly from being talked to.

Xolotl takes a second to realize you guys are there, and Agyou gives him a New Years greeting. Xolotl exchanges one himself politely, then snaps back to the situation at hand saying there’s not really time for that. Tsathoggua agrees, saying Hakumen would blow a gasket if she saw what was happening.

Xolotl only then realizes Tsathoggua and the rest of your party is here. He fusses about how guests are here but the place isn’t really ready for that. Tsathoggua tells him to chill because they came to fix things.

Xolotl says it must be divine intervention and thanks him, almost panicking about what would happen if Hakumen saw all this. And since it’s New Years he couldn’t get a hold of anyone, not to mention there’s a bit too many slimes to tackle by himself.

Xolotl does tell you that the slimes seem to be coming from below incessantly. You bring up that the casino is 47 floors deep and Tsathoggua’s room is down there. Tsathoggua confirms that and admits he can’t look away from what’s happening anymore. That is, the likely source of the slimes is in his room.

Agyou asks in shock if Tsathoggua is at fault, and Tsathoggua quickly says that isn’t 100% determined yet. Having said that, he guesses that his ability to sense them means there’s some sort of deep connection between them. Also as his room N’kai is the lowest level temple, things just happening there isn’t anything unusual.

Agyou still thinks it’s suspicious but sets it aside to say the main takeaway being Tsathoggua’s room being the source of the problem of the day. He’s in the middle of saying you guys should hurry when this rumbling starts.

The dust slimes all move differently converging on their target, which turns out to be Agyou. They all immediately take off with him before anyone can actually react to this, and the rest of the slimes slink away too.

Xolotl observes the obvious in a panic, and Tsathoggua wonders if cleaning up the other places provoked them. He also suggest that maybe cleaning does more damage to them than just defeating them. Xolotl then tells you the elevator isn’t working, so you ask Tsathoggua to teleport you guys.

Tsathoggua says Xolotl needs to get things cleaned by the time Hakumen comes back, then says he wants to finish things quick and get some honey sweets. Then the episode ends.
