Things start off at Claude’s office one day. He’s in the middle of thinking of things when Snow hands him some tea. Claude’s so preoccupied that Snow decides to ask what’s on his mind.
Claude
is vague at first, but then suddenly decides to bring up Saturnalia and
Christmas to Snow’s confusion. Claude asks how the Christmas plans are,
and Snow says they’re going on smoothly. There’s stuff about a battle
ceremony and invitations to the political and business circles amongst
other things, but Claude tells him to delay all that.
Snow
just barely wrinkles his brows at this and asks Claude for an
explanation. Claude says he feels things should be shaken up a bit. The
Berserkers’ courage has already been made clear, and there needs to be
something that can entertain the masses during holidays, which Claude
feels is his responsibility to try to do.
Snow
takes it to mean that Claude feels like he’s in a rut. Claude nods and
talks about the idea of bread and circuses, and that he should make a
new path for himself if he can’t find one. He orders the invites to keep
going, but the event will be different.
Snow
acknowledges this and asks what the new event will be. Claude declines
to elaborate and tells him to get a car ready because they’re going to
the Santa School.
Scene jumps over to
Shinjuku with some jaunty new music, and narration says the date is
December 23rd. Ryouta is excited and singing to himself. Shirou thought
it was a seasonal changing song, but no it’s just a Xmas song of some
kind. You can comment on Ryouta’s good mood, say he thinks a lot about
it every time, or join in.
Going with A,
Ryouta says tis the season and wonders if he should sing more up tempo.
Yule laughs about things getting more exciting and that while Ryouta
sometimes overdoes it, he likes that.
Everyone
seems to be packing wreaths and stuff into boxes as Yule tells Ryouta
to be careful. Agyou scolds Kengo for slacking off, and Kengo complains
he was just having some snacks. Agyou tells him it can wait until after
the boxes are taken out.
Agyou then turns
around and tells Krampus to stop watching TV all the time. Krampus
apologizes for getting distracted and wonders if putting on a toku movie
on while doing school work was a bad idea. Hanuman yells about a new
super move in the show, and since Krampus missed it he considers
extending the rental.
Kengo talks about not
doing well with small things and promptly breaks something again.
Moritaka tries suggesting he take even breaths and work on restraint.
Touji tells him he doesn’t have enough discipline. Kengo snaps back,
then gets glue on his hands.
Hanuman talks
about how fun Christmas is and how they don’t have it back in his home
world. Agyou is sad he didn’t find out about it earlier so he could get a
stocking ready. Moritaka says it’s true they don’t have it in the land
of samurai, and Shirou talks about the differences of the worlds.
Shirou
brings up this bizarre example about how in one world, Santa is a war
god who comes in on a tank, which baffles Kengo. Ryouta says one of his
own friends told him Santa rides in from the sea on the waves in their
home world. You can comment on all the different kinds of Santas, say
you’ve heard of this, or comment that maybe Surfer Ded would be nice.
Going
with A, Yule wonders if Jiraiya is also one of them, even if he goes by
a different title. Shirou thinks it’s interesting to say the least.
Ryouta talks about how everyone likes fun stuff and food and presents.
Yule says celebrations should have meanings and that he wants to keep
those old meanings going.
Agyou talks to
himself about having some sort of substitute for a stocking, so Shirou
offers to make him one since he’s almost done knitting one for the
Evils. Agyou cheers over this, and you can either say you hope he gets
something, call him a kid, or call him cute.
Anyways
after Agyou responds, scene jumps to outside the school as all the
boxes are loaded up to a sled. Shirou tells Krampus to be careful with
the box of cookies, and Krampus says he’ll be fine since he does part
time work as a mover. You then can either thank Krampus for his work,
comment that he has that as part time work, or try to grab the base of
his tail.
Going with A, Krampus thanks you
for helping, and Yule thanks everyone as they now have everything ready
in time. Ryouta asks if they couldn’t do it with Santa Power. You can
either agree to that question, say Ded could probably handle anything,
or ask what he’s talking about.
Going with
C, Krampus says it’s school stuff and that they have to do whatever they
can themselves. Yule says they don’t have enough hands to help this
year because people have been called to various things elsewhere.
Agyou
asks if he’ll get presents since he helped. Krampus tells him he will
since good kids always get presents. Then he tells Yule it’s time to go.
Moritaka is surprised and says they aren’t headed towards the Santa
School, so Yule tells them there’s been a sudden change of locations
and everyone’s been working to move everything. Krampus mentions
missing a tv show because of all that.
Shirou
says it’s about time and apologizes for the double booking, so part of
the group is doing school stuff and the other is doing guild stuff.
You’re going to be going to the Santa School since they asked for you
specifically while everyone else is staying behind. Ryouta wonders if
it’s more Santa assistance they need help with, except he wasn’t called
over as well.
Touji speaks up saying he
doesn’t know much about the Santa School, but says the concern should be
some promise some of them have to deal with. Moritaka says things
should be fine with that guild...if you ignore a certain person.
Hanuman
feels like there’s going to be a guild battle and says he’s bad at
using his head. Shirou assures you he can handle things and Ryouta waves
you off. Krampus and Yule also leave at this point and wishes everyone a
merry Christmas, saying they’ll see them again tomorrow.
On
your way to the Santa School Solomon pops up since you’re alone. He
says he’ll accompany you and suggests some things to do, like playing or
patting him. You can either say he’s enough for now, say he’s nice, or
ask if he’s bored. Going with A, Solomon begs you to talk since it’s
just him and hints that you should get him a present. Then he hurries
you on.
Eventually you hit the Santa School
and Solomon comments that you’re well known in a lot of places and met a
lot of people. Then he starts worrying he’ll lose his spot as the
closest one to you. You can either pay him and say he’s the closest or
comment that no one seems to be around.
Going
with A, he thanks you and says he’ll give you the last bit of corn
potage, then comments on the school being empty himself. After narration
focuses on the point a bit more, Solomon brings back up the points from
earlier about there being a change in locations. He thinks it’s a bit
extreme and points out they invited you.
You
can either say that’s what was supposed to happen, try checking out the
building, or say you’ve been tricked. Going with A, Solomon will
suggest going inside to look for someone, but then he tells you someone
is coming.
Tanngrisnir walks over and asks
what you’re doing there. His eyes narrow as he nods to himself, then
says he came back just in case and mentions you must not have gotten the
message. He tells you to take his hand so you can go to the meeting
place together.
You can ask him about the
meeting place, the message, or the sled he brings up as a way to take
you over. Tanngrisnir talks about the change made that morning and that
he came back to check. He presses you to come with him again since he
thinks you’re a student there and says he has his special stew made over
there.
Solomon pipes up to say Tanngrisnir
isn’t listening and that you’ll have to get through his head somehow.
You can either try to get him to listen politely, ask about the stew, or
bluntly tell him not to say things that sound compromising.
Going
with A, Tanngrisnir wonders who it is you’re talking to and if there’s
some fairy or other there. You ask him who he is, so he agrees to tell
you as he straightens up and introduces himself. He decides to include
his specialties (running and stew making) and favorite hot pot food
(stew) for some reason. This is also the point at which he clues in
about you not being a Santa School student.
You
either confirm that you aren’t a student there or comment on his liking
for stew. Turns out that Tanngrisnir does at least know that Ded has
called some other school students over and says he has a bad habit of
acting before thinking.
He asks for your
name, so you tell him. Solomon calls Tanngrisnir a bit of a dramatic
reactor, then reminds you you’ll be late. You tell Tanngrisnir about
this and ask him to take you to Ded. He hands you a canteen of stew and
turns on his phone.
After sending a message
he tells you to come along, taking your hand. You can either comment on
him being pushy, say the stew was great, or ask if he always keeps some
with him. In any case he leads you to a sled and tells you to be
careful since it can get shaky. After you get on, it starts moving and
blowing wind in your face. Solomon freaks out a little about this, and
the episode half ends.
