Tanngrisnir
then snaps out of his thoughts to focus on the race. He says that right
now is your only shot at getting past, and that he’ll direct you
through so you guys can pick up Melusine.
You
charge in at full power, which prompts Durga to come after you in an
ambush. She says she’s different from before and mentions stirring
things up with her feet, while Ashigara works with her to destroy teams
in succession.
Durga tries to attack again
with a high speed kick you can’t see, but Tanngrisnir counters and
advises that she not lose sight of other things while focusing on one
thing. Durga is shocked he’s fast enough to counter her, and Tanngrisnir
tells you to keep going.
Durga continues
trying to kick your sleigh, and Tanngrisnir blocks her every try. As you
try to move on Ashigara comes in to block the way, and Tanngrisnir says
you guys won’t be able to get out of the pincer attack unless there’s
some way to break past the formation. You try to think of a weakness in
either Ashigara or Durga.
Around this time
Tanngrisnir’s thermos of stew almost falls out of his chest pocket. He
manages to catch it, and Durga catches a whiff. This gives you an idea,
though Tanngrisnir isn’t following along your train of thought. You ask
him for the thermos, and he hands it over after a second to process
things.
Ashigara says he won’t show any
mercy, then comments that he’s getting hungry. You hand him some stew in
a cup, and he tries to protest until he gets a whiff of its scent.
Gunzou picks up on it too, as does Kyuuma who says he’s hungry.
Everyone’s attention is drawn to it, so you can either laugh at them,
take the opening, or say they’re cute.
You
slip past to the side of Ashigara anyways to his shock. Gunzou is more
focused on asking him for a bite of the stew. Durga snaps at Ashigara
and says she’ll chase after you, so you give her some stew too.
Durga
tries to turn down the stew citing calorie concerns, but after some
thinking decides she moves enough for it to not be a problem and takes
it. You hand out stew to everyone that chases after you, eventually
running out by the time you hit the checkpoint.
You
apologize to Tanngrisnir for giving away all of his stew, but he’s
happy everyone’s enjoying it. Also he has yet another thermos of the
stuff on hand to your surprise. Tanngrisnir tells you to keep going
straight ahead, and there you see Melusine waiting for you.
She
greets you there. You in response either say her name, ask if she’s
okay with pulling the sleigh, or say she looks nice in the Santa outfit.
Going with C, she’s shocked but thanks you. Then she talks to herself
about how this is work and that she shouldn’t get excited.
In
any case she says you guys should leave now before the Yoyogi athletes
are ready to start attacking again, which Tanngrisnir agrees with. But a
voice calls out saying they won’t let you leave that easily.
Taurus
Mask jumps in from somewhere saying it’s the start of the Christmas
match. You can be shocked, ask where he came from or say you wanted to
see him. Going with B he says an invincible masked hero can appear from
anywhere like a comet.
Scene shifts over to
Andvari as he continues commentating, starting with Taurus Mask’s
arrival. Then he turns to Ded for an explanation for where all these
people are coming from. Ded says that Santas always have to deal with
the unpredictable, so he thinks this is a good experience.
Scene
shifts over to Team Krampus having finally reached Yoyogi, and Krampus
notices Taurus Mask. He decides to pull something from the back of the
sleigh while telling Garm to keep going.
Back
to your side, the rest of the athletes are scrambling to get back in
formation and saying they won’t lose, all the while chowing down on the
stew. Ashigara calls for a variation of the Yoyogi Combination, and you
say this is too many people and ask if a hero is coming for you.
Krampus
calls out in response saying he’ll be the hero you’re looking for,
having changed out into his wrestler costume. He’s also picked up
Ikutoshi as the third member of the team, and as they’re pulling the
sleigh he’s standing and posing on top. You can either ask if he’ll
fight alongside you or be the straight man and ask if he’s cold.
Going
with the former, he calls you his partner and says he’ll help. He’s
also doing this because you made it easy for him to get through to the
checkpoint, so he’s paying you back. Ikutoshi comments on Krampus
getting into his wrestling persona and says he’d get on well with Taurus
Mask.
Ikutoshi also says he wants to warm
up a bit and says he’ll fight too. Garm says he’ll help too since the
Yoyogi students have been getting in your way. Ashigara points out that
this makes it a 6v6 battle and how that follows sportsmanship. Melusine
interrupts him with gun fire.
Ashigara
protests the battle hasn’t even started yet, and Melusine apologizes and
greets them with a bow. But since you guys are in a hurry she gets
ready to fight, leading to the episode battle. Things continue after
that.
After the battle, Durga says she
can’t get close, then jumps away to get away from the gunfire. Andvari
commentates on Melusine driving everyone away with her weapon, and
Kyuuma makes an attempt to use his CS. He manages to knock Melusine’s
gun out of her hands.
Ashigara thinks this
turns things around for them, but Melusine proceeds to pull two SMGs
from her skirt and pick back up with firing away at them all. Since most
of the Yoyogi students don’t have ranged options they can’t hold up
against this. You tell Melusine she’s going overboard. She tells you not
to worry because she’s using rubber bullets and that she’s avoiding
vital areas.
Ashigara complains that it
still hurts. Tanngrisnir asks if you guys can make distance from the
Yoyogi students, suggesting that you guys work with Team Krampus to get
out of there. You get the choice of talking to any of Team Krampus’s
current members.
All of you make your
getaways, though Taurus Mask and Gunzou are still willing to pursue you
guys. Wakan Tanka comments on the way you guys ran, saying it reminds
him of something about thunderbirds and dreams. Krampus responds by
using his NP as a distraction, and both teams run past in the opening
that makes.
Ashigara and Durga both try to
block you guys. Ikutoshi is annoyed but Tanngrisnir says that should be
the end of their attempts to stop you. Ashigara tries to say something
when Andvari yells over some speakers that they’re leaving their
designated areas. Ashigara is shocked, and Taurus Mask rolls with it
accepting you guys made it past. Durga sighs over this, and Gunzou says
you ran great and that he wants you on his team. Wakan Tanka stands
there quietly.
Some time later, Tanngrisnir
says you guys should keep the pace up and keep going, asking Melusine
to pull the sleigh too. She then moves besides you and goes quiet, which
prompts you to ask if something’s wrong.
Melusine
says it’s nothing and wonders if she overdid it. The Yoyogi students
are athletes, so shooting at them might have seemed unfair. She’s hoping
she didn’t traumatize them with her suppression fire fighting style.
You can either say she’s a worrier, wonder how the jocks are doing, or
say she has nothing to worry about.
Some
time later after Yoyogi is no longer in sight, you get a video phone
call. It’s from the Yoyogi students, and Durga asks if you can see her.
Everyone else immediately crowds around her, causing her to complain to
them to speak one at a time.
Gunzou goes
first and wishes you luck, even if it sounds weird from someone who was
trying to stop you. He’s upset he lost and says he’ll train harder.
Kyuuma cheers you on, and Durga says she’ll win next time and be faster
than bullets.
Taurus Mask says it was a
good match and says you guys should meet in the ring next time. Ashigara
tells you to come back after you win and says he’ll eat everything. You
thank them and tell Melusine they seem to be fine. She’s surprised and
agrees.
Tanngrisnir talks about how they
fought hard earlier and how they’ll get stronger, and that he thinks
it’s great to have a fight where you push yourself to the fullest. He
gets sad as he dwells on that last point
Melusine
picks up on this and asks if he’s okay, and Tanngrisnir says he is. He
says to head for the next checkpoint and comments on Team Krampus being
fast as they seem to have pulled ahead again. You can either acknowledge
this, talk to Melusine and say you should do your best, or express
concern over Tanngrisnir.
Scene shifts back
to the arena again as Andvari says most of the teams have been
eliminated by this point. He also comments on Team Krampus making rapid
progress and says Ikutoshi must be adding a lot of horsepower. Andvari
tells a camera to get closer, and Ded asks if everyone is fine. He also
talks about the basis for Santas being smiles and hopes everyone
remembers to have fun.
Scene shifts over to
Team Krampus, and Garm is happy to be running with Ikutoshi. Ikutoshi
tells him he’s going too fast and that he might have to mode shift to
keep up. Krampus tells them not to get them all a speeding ticket, then
says he’ll go change because it’s getting cold.
Ikutoshi
asks how long he was planning to wear his wrestling outfit and says he
should at least change where he won’t be seen. Back at the arena again,
Andvari is shocked to find out Team Krampus is in first place. Garm’s
random route ended up being a shortcut.
Andvari
then turns his focus to Team Claude in second place. Camera shifts to
them, and Snow asks Yule if he’s running at the right pace. Yule says it
is and says he’s amazing for how stable he is. The way things are going
he won’t have any tricks to teach him for sleigh pulling.
Snow
waves the compliment off saying he doesn’t compare to someone
specialized in the field. Claude tells him to stop being humble and says
he can become a Santa no problem like this. Snow is surprised to hear
Claude saying he wants to be Santa.
Claude
asks if there’s a problem with that as anything he does would be on the
path to being a ruler. Snow apologizes and says there isn’t. He does
want to discuss more about the subject later though as it seems you guys
are catching up.
As you guys come in, you
can either yell or say you think you see something. Tanngrisnir is
surprised to see Team Claude, and the camera shifts back to the arena as
Andvari says the race is getting chaotic. He was waiting for something
like this to happen.
Back to your side,
Yule is surprised you guys caught up. Snow casually comments on you
being a reindeer for the race. You can talk to either of them, either
telling Yule you won’t lose or ask Snow about his reindeer costume.
Going
with B, Snow says Claude put him up to it and admits he’s a little
embarrassed about wearing it. With both sleighs side by side, Snow and
Melusine exchange looks. Melusine directly calls him a bonehead, and
Snow sarcastically thanks her for worrying about him and says she has a
big mouth. He also makes a dig at her body saying he isn’t sure there’s
going to be another fight between them.
Melusine
answers by making a reference to the tortoise and the hare. Snow
responds to being called careless by activating his power to give
himself three times his leg strength. You and Melusine are shocked he’s
using his power this way. Snow turns to Yule and says they should pull
ahead. Yule is surprised but goes along with this, and Team Claude tears
away.
Melusine yells at them to stop, but
by then they’re out of sight. You can either comment on this, marvel at
their speed, or comment how badly Snow and Melusine get on with each
other. Going with A, Tanngrisnir say both Yule and Snow are strong. He
also says having a rider and reindeer on the same wavelength makes for
the ideal relationship.
Melusine admits
they’re doing good, but she has no intention of being left in the dust.
She also thinks aloud for a moment on the ideal servant for a master
before setting it aside. Since the subject is brought up you ask what’s
going on with Licht.
Melusine gets
flustered and says Licht is fine. She describes him as fighting in a
different battlefield. He’s safe though so there’s nothing to worry
about. She also says Licht ordered her there, so she’ll do everything
she can here.
Tanngrisnir comments on her
serving someone and looking for the ideal sort of work without
hesitation, saying he understands her feelings. He says he’d like to
help, then offers her some stew. Melusine tries to turn his offer down
before changing her mind and saying she’ll have some later.
Melusine
suggests focusing on the race soon and stopping the discussion for now.
She wants to catch up to Snow and the others as soon as possible,
telling you ‘let’s go for victory.’ Solomon pops up after that for more
end of tv episode narration again, recapping passing the checkpoint and
getting Melusine. He asks if you’re okay and says the 2nd checkpoint
will be for next time, then ends the episode.
