Kimun Kamui picks things up by commenting on how busy the morning bath was and how the other teams have already started moving on now that morning has broke. Aizen is quiet, which you notice and try to ask him about. Aizen says it's nothing and suggests getting on with breakfast. He also reminds you that Shirou has been working on making it, and Kagutsuchi says he's excited to see Shirou's food and is feeling hungry.
Moritaka greets the rest of the party upon you guys making it back and informs Shirou of your return. Shirou thanks Kimun for his work and mentions the rice being done so he's about to get started on the other parts. Kagutsuchi can smell the curry and asks if Shirou is serving the curry from last night for breakfast. He does remember a second later that there wasn't enough curry left over to serve up for everyone though. Shirou says it's fine since he'll be arranging it into something new.
Kimun says he's given Shirou another little challenge, specifically asking Shirou to make something without wasting any of nature's bounty and ingredients. Shirou says he'll be sure to use up all the curry in the pot, and you offer to help Shirou as you ask him what you should do. Shirou says there's nothing really hard to do, and that the first part is heating the curry back up. Moritaka says that then it's putting in the rice and mixing in some cheese that you guys were given.
Shirou scoops out some of the rice in the middle of the pot and then adds in some hot spring boiled eggs, then says it's done. Kagutsuchi's curry has been remade into a curry risotto topped with Moritaka's eggs. Kimun is impressed that Shirou has managed to use pretty much all the leftovers and laughs. Shirou says there's also canned soup and fruit from your provisions then prompts everyone to eat before it gets cold, and you say the premeal formalities.
Aizen is surprised at how mild the cheese and eggs have made the spicy curry. Kagutsuchi talks about how filling the food is, is surprised at how his curry got remixed, and thanks Shirou for the food. Shirou is glad they both like it and says he tried to think up of something since he figured them to be the type to not like spicy things much. He considered sprinkling on some panko to make it all more of a doria, though it seems like it's good enough as is.
Moritaka says it's really delicious and calls it a precious opportunity since there hardly ever is any curry leftover at the dorm. One of the Evils squeal, and Shirou tells it to not use their scarf to wipe their mouths since it's not a napkin. He tells it to hold still, but the Evil instead hops into Shirou and hugs him, putting its head right up to his face. Shirou then says that it got curry onto his face too. Kagutsuchi laughs that even Shirou can't keep up with how wild they are.
Once breakfast and small talk is over, everyone gets to cleaning up. After that, everyone gets ready to go towards the second checkpoint and stay on schedule. Kimun asks Shirou to take control of things since he'll be heading to a staff meeting. Shirou says he'll take care of things, so Kimun calls him reliable before heading off. Aizen says he'll be going to that meeting too since he's been called over as the Tycoons' special envoy.
Kagutsuchi volunteers to wash out the pot, though Shirou attempts to stop him but fails to make it in time. Maria walks over to Kagutsuchi as he heads over to the water, telling him that the Jamboree has set up a rule against washing the pot in the river so the Missionaries will take them. Kagutsuchi is surprised to hear that, and Maria explains that washing it in the river or springs can pollute the mountain. It's fine if he were to wash it at the campground washing areas, but the Missionaries have decided to do things way after some consideration. She asks Kagutsuchi to put the pot in the plastic bag she has so that a car can come by to bring it all back to wash all at once.
Kagutsuchi feels awkward about not washing something the group has used, but he accepts the reasoning for the rule and hands the pot over. Maria acknowledges picking up your team's pot and comments that Kagutsuchi is a lot happier than how he looked yesterday. Kagutsuchi laughs and thanks her, saying he's been enjoying himself due to everyone. Kagutsuchi turns to work on something else, and Maria watches him for a moment before turning to greet the rest of the present party, thanking you for helping to contain The Other Day's Incident.
You either react with confusion or realization at this, and Shirou is shocked to hear Kimun is the suspect. Maria says Kimun is suspected for looking almost exactly like Wen and because Kimun has no alibi for the time he was around. He's admitted himself that he has no memories for the time period involved. Shirou asks about that in surprise, and Maria elaborates that Kimun said that when he came to, he was sitting in front of the fire with the fried eggs he was making.
Kimun shows up around this point and asks to take over explaining, apologizing to Maria. Arslan and Azazel have also come over, which you take note of. Kimun says he has something he needs to tell you guys, so he asks Shirou to gather the party before venturing forth with his exposition. Shirou says he will and asks him to wait since everyone should be done with the clean up. Kimun thanks him as he goes, and Azazel suggests Maria continue with gathering the pots. She excuses herself to go do so.
Time jumps to the point where the party is together, along with Azazel and Arslan. The air is getting tense, and Kimun is the first to speak. He talks about how the Missionaries have filled him in on the details of last night's incident. He doesn't have any memory of what went on, but he admits the circumstantial evidence is in order with his lack of memory being the biggest one. He eventually feels he's going in too much of a roundabout and decides to flat out say that Wen Kamui is certainly his transformed state.
You ask if it's the same as what happened with the ciramantep or realize that must be it. Kimun says most of the Missionaries have come to the same conclusion and have moved to restrain him. He doesn't argue against it since he can turn into Wen at any time. But then a flashback kicks in as Kimun goes on to explain that Aizen came up and objected to the trial and to how they're trying to handle it all internally. As a temporary member from the Tycoons he says he has room to investigate as well, otherwise it was pointless of him to be transferred in.
The angels try to explain that there are eyewitness reports that Kimun and Wen are the same person, but Jacob walks in to say while that may be true, that might not be Everything To It. The angels are surprised to see him and have to remember to add an honorific when addressing him. Narration says the angels suddenly go tense at one of the founders speaking to them, and Jacob continues exerting his anime awesomeness aura as he continues to talk.
Jacob says that while he is blind, he doesn't believe Wen is pretending to be Kimun. He suggests waiting and seeing since something might become understood that way. The angels are reluctant to do so and bring up whose responsibility it'd be if something were to happen, and the flashback segues back to the present with Aizen saying he'll be responsible for investigating while he's here as his third eye will see everything. You either nod and say you understand or say Aizen did great.
B has an extra line where Aizen is surprised and makes a point of saying he's not doing this for your thanks. Anyways, Aizen says he won't believe anything until he's seen everything with his third eye. Said third eye opens up on his forehead to glare at you, and Shirou thinks to himself that someone nearby has something like that too. After Aizen speaks, Kimun turns to take a look at everyone in the party. He talks about how something might happen again if he's with you all, but as your guide he wants to see you all grow.
Kagutsuchi says he wants Kimun to come with you all and teach you even more things. You either ask Kimun to come along too, roll with it if that's what Kagutsuchi wants, or say okay. C has an extra line where Arslan is surprised at how casually you're taking this before laughing it off as a sign of how young you are. Kagutsuchi thanks you in any case, and Aizen scoffs at you saying he knew you'd do that. Moritaka brings up that Arslan talked about there being trials at the camp when things started, so he'll happily go along with this if he'll grow from the experience.
Kimun is touched by everyone's kindness and thanks you all. Shirou thinks to himself as he wonders what you think while thinking that you're suited to be a leader. He has some doubts about whether he can pretend to be suitable for leading too. Arslan says there will be an alternating assistant from the Missionaries to go with you guys, and Azazel says he'll go back to keeping watch. If anything happens, he'll send reinforcements.
Shirou suggests getting ready to head out if there are no issues with continuing on as before. Arslan says he'll go explain things to the rest of the Missionaries who aren't here and tells you guys to be careful. Azazel says someone will be dispatched to go with you guys, and he asks you to head to the second checkpoint once they get there. Shirou thanks him for that.
Time skips a bit as Kimun talks about causing a problem for you all and wanting to make up for it as your guide. Shirou says that with the travel prep done, he'd like to confirm the schedule for the day. Kimun explains that you'll all be continuing on the hiking path and taking intermittent breaks as you head to the second checkpoint. The road will be getting a bit steeper, so it'll be a bit of a harder walk what with all the things you'll be carrying. Shirou asks everyone to speak up if they're feeling tired, and he'd like to keep a steady pace with everyone supporting each other.
After everyone responds, you take a look at the map and note that the second checkpoint isn't that far away actually in terms of distance. If you leave now you'll probably be able to make it by midday. Kimun confirms this and says that you guys will be spending a lot more time at that checkpoint. There aren't any roads to drive up there, and it's a place surrounded by forests, streams, and bare rock. There'll be plenty you can do up there surrounded by nature, and Kimun suggests it's the best part of the event. Shirou turns to the Evils and says there's a lot of places to play up there and suggests making a lot of fun memories to their excitement.
Time skips a bit as Moritaka comments on how you're ready to go but your accompanying member of the Missionaries isn't here yet. Shirou agrees, then notices the Evils looking in the distance. He asks what they're looking at when he follows suit and figures out why they're looking. Narration describes how the Evils were suddenly sitting when they hop up and point, and Maria comes over apologizing for making you all wait.
Maria thanks the Evils for greeting her, and Kimun is about to ask if Maria is the extra watcher when she confirms as much. She'll be with you guys until you reach the second checkpoint. Maria thanks everyone for having her and moves to pick up a part of your luggage. Kimun tries to stop her since the part she's going for is the part that he's carrying, though Maria says she'll be taking just half of it and that she's used to carrying heavy things. Kimun is surprised since he thought it was fairly heavy, but he lets her be. She turns to the Evils and talks about going together, and the episode part ends with you leading the call to head out.
Maria carries the guild, some luggage is nothing for her!
