Fortune Festival's Happy Illusion Episode 1 Part 2

We pick up from before, with the bus slowly moving forward until it gets into the huge elevator inside the Tokyo Casino. Xolotl explains that the Tokyo Casino is the resort facility Hakumen is in charge of running, and it has its 47 floors organized into basement layers. In them are imitation worlds of the worlds connected to Tokyo. For example there is Little Wa no Kuni, Little Olympus, and Little Kamuy Kotan. Each floor the elevator passes shows a glimpse of another imitation world.

Agyou is surprised and says he saw something that looked like it could be in Wa no Kuni when he was there. Hanuman comments in surprise that there's also a level that resembles a part of his homeworld. Xolotl continues talking about how there are people who get homesick and tired of life in Tokyo, and these imitation worlds were made for their sake. Once Xolotl finishes saying that, the elevator stops, and a bunch of little lights start flying around the bus just like they did the previous time you came here. Kijimuna comments on how pretty they are and asks about them. R-19 looks them up in his database, then informs him that they're fairies. The fairies fly into the bus through an open window, shining mysteriously and gently.

Xolotl announces that you guys have arrived at Little Tir na Nog, and he asks everyone to take their seats since he's about to start the bus again. The kids of the guild get excited at the scenery as Hanuman points out random features of the view, and Agyou mentions it looks a bit like the countryside Ungyou lived in. Kijimuna asks if this is really an artificial world, saying he likes it all, like the wind, water, and soil. R-19 doesn't have anything to say, the Evil chatters as usual, and Solomon points out that there's a lot of fish in the river. You either note how happy he/everyone is, be amazed at the pastoral scenery, or say Solomon looks excited.

Some time later, Xolotl tells you all that you've all arrived at the inn you'll be staying in. You notice it's the same place you met Tvastar before and hope it won't blow up. Shirou has evidently stepped out for a second as he says he's back now done with the check in, and now he tells everyone it's time to bring the bags up. Kengo immediately ditches this to go see the room, prompting Hanuman to complain and follow. Shirou gets mad at Kengo for doing his own thing and says everyone wants to see the room too but aren't ditching. Touji calls Kengo terrible at following group rules, but he admits his tendency to rush headlong into things does suit him as the party vanguard. Shirou is surprised at how highly Touji sometime thinks of Kengo despite how harsh he is on him, then says that speaking as his childhood friend Kengo is just doing what comes to mind.

Xolotl suggests you all head up, promising to look after everyone's luggage. Shirou says it would be annoying to let Kengo hog all the new room vibes for himself and says he'd totally be smug about it. He's been like that since forever. He decides to take Xolotl up on his offer and tells everyone it's time to go to the room. You either say okay, say Kengo going on ahead is a jerk move, or comment to Shirou about how he sometimes gets competitive with Kengo. The younger kids cheer as almost everyone gets off the bus. R-19 hangs behind quietly, so Xolotl says he can go too. R-19 thanks him and follows shortly after.

Back with the gang, Kengo hasn't made it all the way to the room yet and is mildly surprised you guys are coming already too since he wanted to soak in the room by himself. Shirou notes he didn't just go inside like he used to and waited for you guys instead, meaning he's grown a little bit compared to before. Kengo in turns laughs at Shirou for acting like an adult, which means that part of him hasn't changed at all. You get everyone together, and everyone says it's time to see the room. An explosion happens as soon as you open the door.

Kengo asks what's happening this time in shock, and as smoke blows from out of the room you hear a voice inside. Cait SIth is inside, and he welcomes you all to Little Tir na Nog and throws in a meow. You comment on feeling deja vu, ask if anyone else hears a voice, or yell that it's too loud to hear anything. Shirou is surprised at the mention of a voice, asking if someone is inside. He can't see with all the smoke and can't hear anything at the moment. Cait Sith is surprised no one is talking to him, asking you guys to respond if you can hear him. You say you can't see or hear anything.

The App starts up, which Ryouta notices and asks about. R-19 says he's presuming things to be the worst case and shifts to D-Mode to prioritize your safety. His first order of business is to clear the smoke away, and he charges up his lasers to do so. Hanuman desperately attempts to talk him out of it since it's totally overkill. Cait Sith gets alarmed as he can hear the charging noises too despite not being able to see through the smoke. He decides to change his plans since he's getting a bad feeling about things, and he starts counting off. You mention hearing a faint voice now, hearing someone count, and start having an idea who it is.

Cait Sith blows away the smoke by spinning something, then welcomes the gang to Little Tir na Nog. Shirou is shocked to see him, and Cait Sith laughs about finally being able to introduce himself and starts doing so until R-19 announces he can't cancel his firing sequence at this point and says his D-Blaster is firing in wide range mode. Shirou yells at everyone to hit the deck, and you tell the same to Cait Sith. Cait Sith moves to do so, and R-19 fires away. Nobody says anything until R-19 declares that things are over, and the game says that R-19's laser blast sailed over Cait Sith and blew away the room. Solomon pops up informing you that the App's enclosed area has shut down and asks what the hell just happened.

Some time later, R-19 announces that the App's enclosed area has come down, then says that the room has reverted to normal. Kengo says he was worried for a second, then turns to you and says he's glad the room fixed itself up. Moritaka comments that the scenery of things being from another world made him think otherwise, but it seems this is considered a normal area. Touji picks up on his thoughts and says that if R-19 were to use his artifact he'd have to set an enclosed area up. In which case as Ryouta finishes, it's a normal battle area and things will go back when it's all done. The gang waits a while for the smoke to clear after checking everything is okay.

Shirou tells you he checked with Xolotl, confirming that nothing's up with the parking lot outside either. Touji then talks about what that means in terms of actual damage and turns to Cait Sith, who is stumbling around for a bit before saying he was shocked. You ask if he's okay but note that he wasn't hit directly, and/or you comment on how well he threw himself down.

Cait Sith snaps back to alertness, but he still seems confused as he asks where he is, declares he's a cat, and asks what happened. Ryouta is glad he's woken up and apologizes for the scare. Cait Sith is quiet at first before saying he's okay and apologizes for surprising you all. Shirou asks who he is, so Cait Sith says he'll introduce himself. He's considered redoing his big entrance, but repeating it means he'll lose some of the novel impact. He finally gets around to saying his name, introducing himself as the next king of cats and mentioning his favorite food is cat food with lots of bonito flakes. He also does a little trick and announces that he's a magician.

Shirou starts to ask Cait Sith if the smoke and explosion was his doing, which Cait Sith confirms as he says he was planning on showing you some big magic as a welcoming thing. Buuut that's a bust what with him getting surprised when he was trying to surprise you all. He proceeds to verbally beat himself up for being such a screw-up, saying his real show will be a failure too at this rate. The younger guild members are all staring at Cait Sith, and you say that might not be the case as you point out the younger members before noting it's not just them.

Cait Sith is surprised by the attention, and after a moment performs one of his tricks. The kids are impressed by it, which surprises him even further. Cait Sith performs a few more tricks to the kids' delight as they eventually cheer. Agyou is amazed at how Cait Sith did it all despite not having anything (relevant presumably) in his hands, asking how he did it. Kijimuna is happy about all the flowers that popped out, and Hanuman asks about this being magic and compares it to sorcery. Solomon is also shocked by the display, asking if you saw and saying it wasn't something done through the App.

The kids ask Cait Sith to show them some more magic, and he in turn is both happy and in some disbelief that so many people are enjoying his show. He offers to do something really special then to get everyone smiling. You either comment that the magic is awesome, say it was a wonderful night back then, or wonder where the trick is. In A, Shirou agrees and says he's having so much fun it's like he's become a kid again. In B, Solomon is scandalized at the idea you left him out while playing with Cait Sith. When you tell him Cait Sith showed up while he was asleep he still pouts about it. In C, Shirou says you don't need to figure out how magic tricks are done; you can just sit back and enjoy them.

Anyways, Kengo says Cait Sith is pretty skilled to be a magician and not need the App to pull off what he did. Moritaka comments on how mysterious it is to get drawn in just by watching. Touji finds it weird that he'd be so hooked into watching Cait Sith perform despite how Tokyo is filled with evil little spirits. Shirou says he's heard magic is a craft meant to surprise an audience and make them smile. As an art meant to be looked at, he supposes it ranks higher than actual magic in that regard.

Ryouta nods and says that even with all the crazy powers you see through the app, this is still exciting. Shirou says it's been a while since he's seen any of this before, and he reminisces about buying something for a magic trick and trying to show it to his parents. Xolotl joins the conversation as he tells you all that Cait Sith's magic is famous within Roppongi too, and that Cait Sith picked it up when he came to Tokyo. He loves seeing it though he says Cait Sith doesn't seem confident in it, which is sad. Shirou starts to express disbelief at this given how well Cait Sith is doing before the gang processes that Xolotl is here. You either freak out and apologize for forgetting about him, or you ask when he got there.

Xolotl laughs about having come and assures you guys he brought all your things. He then reminds Cait Sith it's about time to go because people are waiting. Cait Sith is surprised to see Xolotl there, then says he's right as he's totally forgotten about that thing. Moritaka asks what he's taking about, so Cait Sith explains that he's from the world of fairies Tir na Nog. As someone who has ties to this place that reminds him of there, he's become the festival head this time. According to the schedule the guests are to start arriving tonight, so there needs to be a meeting before then. Tezcatlipoca and Tvastar are already at the meeting place.

Shirou nods in understanding and says they should all get going over there then. Kengo agrees but asks what you'll do with the kids. With the mood they're in now, they might make a mess of things. Shirou gets mad and points out Kengo is the one most likely to run off and act on his own. Xolotl offers to stay and watch them since Hakumen isn't back yet either. Also R-19 is there too, so he can contact you all if anything happens. R-19 agrees to do this and thanks Xolotl, who thanks him back in turn. Shirou agrees to the arrangement and tells the rest of the guild to wait like good kids. The section ends with them saying yes.
