We start off with a flashback to Sui's past (though this is not immediately clear) as a woman asks Sui why her face is a mess and if she got bullied again. She prompts her to wipe away her tears and blow her nose, because it'd be a waste of a cute face otherwise. Sui's mom assures her that she is not a Weird kid; she's a Little Special. She has nothing to be embarrassed about, and if she likes cute Western clothes then that's perfectly okay.
Sui's mom then pulls something out which I assume is a dress and asks Sui who she thinks she got that for. Sui's mom then answers that she saw it and thought about wanting to put Sui in it. Sui worries about being laughed at for wearing it, but her mom asks what she personally thinks of it. Sui says she likes it, so her mom laughs and says that's good. Everyone else can laugh, but if Sui likes it, that's all that matters. Sui's mom assures her she loves her, and she appreciates Sui saying the clothes she thinks up of are cute. No matter who Sui is, she'll always love her.
Flashback then turns for the tragic as the house is on fire and Sui's mom tells her to run away and save herself, even if she'll be the only one to make it. Sui screams for her mother, and it turns out that she was having a dream she jolts out of breathing hard. She's evidently been having these sorts of dreams repeatedly, and the time is currently 6 am. It's too early to head for work, but Sui isn't in a state to go back to sleep either. So instead, Sui walks over to her bathroom to wash her face. When she sees herself in the mirror, she sighs deeply and asks to no one in particular, "why...?"
Time passes as Sui gets to her workplace, whereupon she puts down her bags and gets started on her morning tasks. Her first order of business for the day is cleaning up, which includes vacuuming the office, wiping down the desks, and emptying out the shredders. She comments to herself about getting there late and needing to pick up the pace since her teacher will be there soon.
A little later on, Sui locks up the agency's doors as she heads out to throw out the trash. Once that's done she checks for any mail addressed to the office. Since most customer contact is done through phone calls and email, paper mail usually doesn't come in. So of course Sui is mildly surprised to find something has come in today, which is a white envelope that doesn't look like it's an ad for anything. Sui notes that there's no sender listed upon inspection, and the letter seems to have come from the moon. There's no recipient listed on the envelope either, just a handwritten line for the address, and Sui ponders the strangeness of it all as she goes back to open the fashion agency.
Once Sui returns, Maculata is there and greets her. Sui greets her back and apologizes for being late with the morning cleaning, but Maculata waves it off and says it's actually a big help that she does so. Maculata pours herself a cup of coffee from the coffee machine before heading over to her desk. Once she sits down, she talks about there being a business trip tomorrow and preparations to be done, and she asks that Sui get ready too. Sui says she'll sort out the things she'll submit later and asks Maculata check them then. Maculata agrees and comments on how quick Sui is at her work.
Sui thanks Maculata, then tells her about the mystery envelope she found. Maculata is surprised at there being snail mail for them, and she finds the lack of any detail about who sent it to be shady. She quickly holds it up to the light to see if there's anything dangerous visible that way, then uses a letter opener to open it up. She doesn’t notice when something flies out, but Sui does and goes to pick it up. Sui is shocked by what she finds, and Maculata looks sterner by the second as she reads the letter inside.
Sui attempts to talk to Maculata, who comments that the letter is some tacky prank. She's suspicious of it turning up just as she and Sui are about to go on a business trip to the moon, and Sui attempts to ask what was written on the letter. Maculata says there's nothing to be gained by reading it, then folds it back and puts it in the envelope before locking it inside her desk. Maculata then worries that by all appearances whoever sent the letter had to be someone from This Side, and in that case she's worried about being the only hero among her entourage going to the moon.
Sui asks Maculata if the sender has something to do with the moon, and Maculata confirms as much before pulling out her phone to make a call. She asks for a consultation, then agrees to head over to talk more about things in person. Maculata picks up her bag and coat as she gets up, then asks Sui to hold the fort while she goes out for a moment. Sui is surprised by this but agrees, then asks where she's going. Maculata answers that she's going to Parallel Flight to ask for someone to come with them, then excuses herself.
The sounds of Maculata's heels clack away as she leaves her office, and Sui stares at the thing she picked up. She identifies it as a pressed flower bookmark using a flower from 'over there.' She remembers the flower as having something to do with her mother, and she starts suspecting what the letter may have written on it.
Scene shifts over to your end as Huckle talks to himself about the unusual circumstances and wonders what happened. You ask him who he was talking to on the phone and ask if it was a work call, so he tells you it was from Maculata and that she's on her way over. Crowne happens to be around and also comments on how unusual this is as she wonders why it's not Sui coming over. Huckle says Maculata is coming straight over and notes that it has been Sui who's been coming over most of the time. Crowne comments that it's a busy time, then hands back Mokdai's gadget she was fixing. Huckle thanks her for being there, but Mokdai starts freaking out at the idea of Maculata coming over and needing to fix up his bed head before she checks him.
You either express shock that Maculata checks Mokdai, say it's because he doesn't really clean himself up much before coming to work, or ask what the point is given that he keeps his head wrapped up. Mokdai quickly waddles over to the bathroom regardless, and Crowne considers cleaning up herself up too given how naggy Maculata can be. Huckle sympathizes, though he says she wouldn't say anything if Crowne followed her advice. Ryekie asks Huckle if Maculata coming over is that big a deal to worry about. Huckle says it isn't since she does come over every so often to talk about suits, but he does find it strange that she'd come over to talk about hero work. He also notes that she sounded serious over the phone and wonders what happened.
Back at the fashion agency, Sui is playing around with the bookmark and staring at it. She's so distracted by it that she hasn't gotten anything done to get ready for the business trip, and the episode ends with Sui wondering if she can see her mother again if the letter came from her.
