Summer Pool Twilight Epilogue (Abridged)

Christine: Twilight is the time of day that asks you "who are you?" It's the time of day between daytime and nighttime, the time of after school. It's a time where many worlds mix together, where new joys yet to be named are born and fade away. And this time we had a dragon bringing the twilight of destruction appearing at a night banquet of Shangri La. There, he say someone who resembled himself closely, someone who didn't know themselves, an amnesiac wanderer. The chance of these drifters meeting was one in a thousand, and yet it happened. The people of other worlds call Tokyo the place where you can be what you want to be. I prefer to put it this way: if that's how you wish yourself to be, then you don't have to be anyone at all. Twilight has one other meaning: the end of festivities. Time goes so fast. So how was our play tonight? We Entertainers wish with all our hearts that you've enjoyed yourself. Let us see this story to its end, viewer from somewhere else.

Elsewhere
Drake: ...hey aren't we in Midgard's eastern sea now? Isn't that Herbalgree's port over there!?
Drake and crew are suddenly back in Yggdrasil!
Drake: Ugh, I don't know what happened back there but that sucked. We hide in some maze and suddenly all these Sahagins show up.
Ed: That wasn't Jormungandr who was turning giant...was it?
Drake: I never felt so alive when he came eating by! Except I'm already dead!
Skeleton Crew: (rattles in presence)

Ed: Then there was that sudden light, and now we're here again.
Drake: What the hell was that all about? Were we high? Was that some kinda dream? Also that place? Too goddamn bright. Maybe there was treasure though... and now I'm making myself sad!
Ed: Well we went there once before. If the fates allow it, maybe we can go back again sometime.
Drake: Maybe! For now, the treasures in this world in front of us!
Ed: Yeah. Take me with you, wherever you go. Here, another world, or somewhere else, I belong with you, Captain. Or rather, with you Drake.
Drake: WHAT
Ed: Who knows what will happen next time? I figured I should say it while I can.
Drake: ...well damn. You better not leave me then! Okay crew, hoist anchor! We're sailing out!
Skeleton Crew: (rattles in affirmation)
Drake: hey whatever happened to that guy anyway

Back in Tokyo
MC: Okay bye Sea Dragon King Jormungandr! (summons sword and swings it)
Jormungandr: (poofs)
Yamasachi: Aww he left...WHOA
Jormungandr: ZZZZZ... oh, hi guys. What's going on?
MC: Jormungandr! / Which one are you? / Whatever! (hug)

The party is relieved.
Gorozaemon: Heh! Okay, time to stop dawdling here! We got ourselves a shiny party to get to!
Heracles: Indeed.
Yamasachi: We got the whole night ahead for us!
Zo: Niiice, hehehe.
Yamasachi: What? Did I say somethin' weird?
Zo: YOU DON'T SEE IT!?
Smoky God: Time to restart the party!

Goemon: It's the Fire and Water Tricks show with me and Barong again! And now for an extra! Partying with the Night Parade, folks!
MC: ...wow, the youkai are dancing.
Yamasachi: Dang everyone's havin' fun! Nothin's off the table now, huh?
Heracles: The staff are also serving customers, but I suppose work always is going to be busy with suffering.
Yamasachi: ...damn you're energetic. Well if y'all are havin' fun then whatever...
Zo: The audience got okay with things really fast! Is that how Entertainers work...?
Smoky God: Heh, this is no longer the Urban Shangri La, so we should follow the Entertainers' lead.

Smoky God: I know I'm supposed to be undercover, but why do you ask?
Christine: Those VIPs want to speak to you.
Smoky God: !!
Perun: Hi.
Fuxi: You've got some 'splainin' to do.
Smoky God: ...I see I have some persuasion to work on. But first, MC. I am truly sorry for what happened tonight, so I wish to apologize to you. And I promise to lend you my hand to get you out of this cycle. How about I built a palace on your guild's territory?
MC: NOPE

Heracles: Sorry, I need to go too. The massage staff have asked for some help.
MC: Well okay, but are you good at doing massages?
Heracles: Not really, but they need someone stronger for clients with bigger bodies. I'm sorry I cannot stay with you until the end (of my shift). Yamasachi: Hey Heracles! MC, have you seen him? ...oh, work stuff. Oh well then. I guess I should ask one of the other staff members?
MC: What's up?
Yamasachi: I only just realized I'd have to go back in just my underwear! So I wanted to ask if I could borrow some of the staff's clothes.
MC: Really, just now!? / Well that's just like you...
Yamasachi: I'll figure it out! I'mma go look for Heracles, and maybe I'll find the fish hook on the way. Later MC! ...oh, one more thing. I'm yer brother! ...even if I'm not the most reliable. I'll do my best though, so call me whenever! (leaves)

Zo: Hey MC! I gotta get going soon too. Hehe, I was thinking of showing that coward some excitement.
MC: DO YOU NOT REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED WHEN I RAN INTO YOU!? Isn't that a bit much for him!?
Zo: I'm kidding! Hehe, you jealous? I gotta do one more go around to greet people before I leave, so I figure I'll make the time left his time. It's been fun. I'm never bored when I'm with you. Invite the coward out again sometime! I'll be there too! Well if he's always gonna be a coward...maybe I'll swipe you for myself!
MC: What!?
Oz: NOOO! ...sorry, MC. I know he just said all that, but please let me say something?
MC: Wait which part are you talking about?
Oz: Um, the part of you inviting me...I'll be really happy if you do though. Please be my friend and see me again!
MC: Okay! / I thought we already are friends / Hmm...
(C) O-oh, that was rather sudden... wait, you were joking!? Oh good...

Oz: Thank you MC. I'm really glad I met you this summer. When night ends, dawn comes. The summer stars will leave as the seasons change, but the memories I had of you will give me courage. So...I hope you call me whenever. (leaves)
Jormungandr: There you are! Having fun?
MC: Well you sure are excited!
Jormungandr: Yes, I don't know why but my head feels clearer than before. I always felt like I was about to remember something before and worried about it, but now it's all gone! Like I've been reborn!
MC: Maybe because you really did since Shangri La is apparently like that... do you remember anything about a lover from your home world?
Jormungandr: Me? Not really.
MC: (So I guess it's only the other one's memory and he took it with him? What a hog...)

Jormungandr: Whatever, I need to find myself a stronghold. But anyways, thanks for helping me MC! Tell me if you're ever in trouble! I eat anyone in your way, ahaha! (leaves)
MC: Okay I'm tired. Maybe I should sit down for a bit.
Barong: Hello MC! I've been looking for you.
MC: Barong! What's up?
Barong: I'm handing out VIP party tickets since I'm an apprentice hotelier. (hands MC a VIP room card key)
Barong: There's a huge bed and endless amenities! First class room here in the Yurakucho Theatorium. If you want room service, just call me. I'll get you anything you want. (hands MC his phone number)
Barong: Have a good night! Bye!

MC: I'm alone now... well they haven't shown up yet. And now that I've said it, there you are!
Gorozaemon: Aww, you saw me coming.
MC: Wait you're in a swimsuit!?
Gorozaemon: Yeeeesss! You're funny! Anyways job's done with no problems, so I figure it's time for me to have fun. That said it's almost time for the grand finale. Still got to enjoy the party a little bit!
MC: It looks good on you. / That was a huge surprise!
(A) Gorozaemon: O-oh, thanks. That was so sudden I lost my footing there.
(B) Gorozaemon: Heh, great success then!

Gorozaemon: So. Had fun? Don't answer, I'm not one to question your feelings. You feel how you feel. Personally, it wasn't bad. The Night Parade of the deep dark night got to go all out. Tokyo's great! I'mma keep making Tokyo a place of thrills. And now I got something good for you.
MC: ...baaad feelings! (looks away)
Gorozaemon: Aww, don't be like that with your friends. Anyways I, Sanmoto Gorozaemon...AM GOING WITH YOU! Ahahaha! All sales final, all there in the fine print! Just roll with it, I've taken a liking to you. You leave any openings around you and I'll be the one slipping in! Mwehehe!
