Things
then pick up as the taxi driving everyone pulls up to Yoyogi, which you
remark upon. Agyou asks if the dust slimes are drawn to schools, and
Tsathoggua suggests they’re more likely going to places where they can
make a mess of things. You can either say that might be it or say maybe.
Either
way Tsathoggua says it could also be that in that case that schools
have lots of things to toss around, since the slimes showed up at the
shrine and Kamata to do that. Also the slimes pretty clearly must like
messy places.
Agyou wonders why the slimes
are doing this, then says that there must have been one original slime
even if they multiply by themselves. And since Tsathoggua is the only
one who can sense where they are, he wonders if it’s because they look
like his own slime minions.
Tsathoggua
agrees that it’s strange, but Temujin suggests he’s hiding something.
Tsathoggua protests otherwise, though he acts so suspiciously about it
that Agyou points out that he’s deliberately not making eye contact.
Tsathoggua protests some more saying his eyes are innocent.
Gullinbursti
asks if anyone is going to go since he’s itching to do something. He
then hears something going on and asks Tsathoggua if that’s where the
slimes are, pointing at the sports club rooms. Tsathoggua confirms that
to be the case, so you say you guys should go check it out.
Over
at the building in the middle of the ground floor, two students are
arguing. Durga is complaining about stuff happening, like how she wanted
to be the first at school today only to be shown up by a lot of weird
things popping up.
Gunzou is shocked she
called him over for that and says he thought she was inviting him to go
shrine visiting. Durga says if she was she’d already be in line and be
the first one up, which Gunzou admits is like her.
Gunzou
then asks what this weirdo thing she was talking about is. She tells
him it ran off, so Gunzou yells about this being a waste of time. Durga
says she’s sure it’s somewhere around there, and that they ran when she
chased them. She wanted to catch them but there’s a bunch of them and
the only one she can ask for help is Gunzou.
Gunzou
protests that she could have called Ashigara or Kyuuma at least. Durga
protests that she can’t call seniors and juniors on a day off, which in
turn baffles Gunzou since that means she thinks it’s okay to call same
grade classmates.
Durga begs him to help
and promises to treat him to croquettes. Gunzou tries to turn her down
or at least stall when you show up. You can either tease Gunzou about
getting a date, greet Durga with New Years greeting, or directly ask
about slimes.
Going with A, Gunzou is
surprised to see you there and asks why. In B, Durga does the same, then
has an additional line greeting you back for New Years. In any case
Agyou will give an offscreen explanation, which causes Gunzou and Durga
to look at each other awkwardly.
Durga
recaps the slimes’ propensity for going around and making messes, and
Gunzou says all the club rooms are a mess except maybe sort of probably
the rugby room. Durga in response claims the track team’s room is the
cleanest. Gunzou then tries to make a comparison to the sumo club’s
room, then just Ashigara.
Gunzou then says
the building itself is pretty old. The outside may look clean, but maybe
there’s something in the plumbing. Durga asks if he means ghosts, and
Gunzou says he means pests and insists there can’t be ghosts around.
Agyou questions this to his surprise, so Agyou says never mind if he
can’t see them.
This of course freaks
Gunzou out further, leading him to ask what Agyou sees. Agyou says that
he’s a komainu with strong spiritual power, so he can see what can’t be
seen normally. Then he changes the subject back to the slimes and asks
where they are.
Durga says she tried to
catch them but they ran. She thinks they should still be in the building
though. There’s a lot of rooms though so searching could be a problem.
Gullinbursti says you’d have to search several rooms at once and you
luckily have the numbers to do that. He suggests everyone drive the
slimes to the entrance where he’ll get rid of them. You can ask if he
can handle that alone, say he’s dependable, or say it’ll be faster if
everyone helps.
Going with A, Gullinbursti
says it’s fine and says that this is what’s possible for one person.
Also, being the first spear is a boar’s pride so he wants to do it.
Sometime
later, Durga says she’ll find the most dust slimes, reasoning that if
they like messy places then they’ll be in the sumo club’s room. She
turns this whole thing into a bet with Gunzou where whoever loses has to
pay for croquettes, then runs off. Gunzou protests that she said she’d
pay earlier.
Agyou says you guys should go
too. Temujin calls this a bit loud for child’s play, but talks about how
there’s overflowing life force here. Tsathoggua leans over to ask if
he’s okay, and Temujin asks what he’s talking about in response.
Tsathoggua says it seems like he’ll still be around for a while.
Temujin
asks if he’s asking about him, then says Tsathoggua’s standing further
away from everyone and asking about serving him by his side. Tsathoggua
says exercise is a pain and there’s no other reason for it. Temujin says
he’ll bow out of playing along with the child’s play then.
Temujin
then goes outside the building somewhere and crouches down. But even
so, he hasn’t let his firing stance down, ready to draw at any moment as
 the episode battle starts.
